A serious crash on the Mitchell Freeway has been cleared and reopened, after the closure of the southbound lanes forced traffic to a crawl on Friday morning.
Traffic on the busy route to the city was slowed to a standstill after a motorcyclist collided with a car near the Ocean Reef Road exit in Woodvale about 9.50am.

Main Roads WA closed southbound lanes near Ocean Reef Road as a result and told motorists to seek an alternative route.
However, just after 1pm, a spokesperson advised the freeway had been reopened.
