In early 2018, we’re building relationships with oceanic and marine protection organisations, to design a trip around understanding the impact of plastic waste on marine life in the Indonesian archipelago, and what we can do about it.
May/June 2018
Learn about permaculture and how developing countries use it to make social and environmental change. Join our 2 part trip taking us from Melbourne to Timor Leste on our cross-cultural permaculture design course.
June /July 2018
Cuba captures the imagination perhaps like no other country with its music, rich lived heritage and Caribbean lifestyle. Join us on an trip focused on Urban Agriculture and sustainability to learn from its locals about its past and potential for the future.

We are privileged to run trips to the remote Homeland Community of Mäpuru in East Arnhem Land. A unique opportunity to learn about Yolngu culture from Indigenous leaders passing on their traditional skills and knowledge in basket weaving and bush survival.

In China we visit community, government, and private organisations exploring nutrition, organics, pollution, permaculture, climate change and alternative lifestyles. The theme is environment and sustainability issues, with a population and urban development focus.
Sept 2018
We are returning to this enchanting community to build on our friendships and learn from the rich Samoan way of life. Travelling to the Islands of Upolo and Savai’i we will visit village communities and key environmental & social organisations.
CERES Global is the international outreach program of the not-for-profit CERES Community Environment Park. We are a Social enterprise with a passion for designing and facilitating group journeys into new cultural settings with the intent of creating a space of mutual learning and the exchange of ideas. Each year we organise trips to over 9 destinations and we welcome anyone to join us.
All trips run at cost price. Fees include meals, accommodation, transport, community contributions, facilitator support, carbon offsets, pre trip preparations and administration. It does not include flights, visas and items of a personal nature.
