Лекция по протоколу маршрутизации OSPF (Open Shortest Path First).
OSPF (Open Shortest Path First):
- Протокол с учетом состояния канала (link-state protocol)
- Используется алгоритм Дейкстры (Shortest Path First)

Get 20% off Kevin's "CCNA (200-301) Video Training Series"
https://kwtrain.com/ccna20
***********************************
In this video, you'll learn the theory of the Open Shortest Path First routing protocol, which we call OSPF for short. OSPF is the most popular interior gateway routing protocol in use today, and you'll understand how link state databases are constructed with information from link state advertisements (LSAs), the difference between an OSPF Neighbor and an OSPF Adjacency, OSPF areas, and how OSPF performs its Cost calculations.
Enjoy the training!

OSPF Introduction | Free CCNA: In this video, Imran explains the basics of Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) with a video title OSPF Introduction. He shows the process involved, how OSPF Neighbors are formed and how they exchange the Link State Advertisement (LSA) and how they populate the Link State Data Base (LSDB). He also explains about the Dijkstra's Shortest Path First algorithm.

In this video we're going to take a look at OSPF.
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is a widely used and supported routing protocol.
It's an interior gateway protocol (IGP) meaning it been designed to be used within a single autonomous system. It also falls under the category of Link-state routing protocols.
Routers running OSPF learn about the enter network in order to create routes. They do this by flooding Link State Updates. There are three steps to the process.
Become neighbours - Two routers running OSPF on the same link agree to form a neighbour relationship
Exchange database information - The neighbouring routers swap their LSDB information with each other
Choose the best routes - Each router chooses the best routes to add to its routing table based on the learned LSDB information

• Start off with a sample network topology to visualize how OSPF works on it
• Breaking down how LSAs make OSPF possible
• How Link State Databases provide routers with all the network information they need
• OSPF Hello messages and how they help routers share data
Visualizing the sort of network that OSPF would be useful for can help understand exactly how it does that. Keith starts with a sample network topology and splits it into areas. Different routers provide access to different areas, and eventually they'll become OSPF neighbors.
But before you get to that, it's important to understand Link State Advertisements (LSA). When you have a network topology with multiple zones, the connecting routers are responsible for creating an LSA and broadcasting them. LSAs contain all the information about the networks that each router services.
With OSPF, it's possible for routers to "meet" one another, send "hello"s to one another and share their link state information. Link State Databases are shared between OSPF routers, and in turn those routers leverage the data inside those databases to make decisions about routing data across the entire network.
OSPF is the language that makes it possible for all the routers across a network to collaborate like this. It also makes it possible to carve the network up into smaller chunks so that you don't have to create routing tables for every last destination in the network on every single router.

In this video, CBT Nuggets trainer Jeremy Cioara explains Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) areas and Link State Advertisement (LSA) types. This is a blisteringly fast introduction to OSPF Areas and LSA types, crucial and complicated topics if you're dealing with OSPF configurations.

If there are too many routes, too many changes with networks going up and down, or processor cycles getting wasted, it’s important to break into multiple areas.
In Link State Protocol, all routers in the area must have the same link-state database. The only way to hide routes or do route summarization is to break into multiple areas.
Different areas include Stubby, Totally Stubby and Not-So-Stubby Areas. Yes, that's actually what they're called.
Stub area is where you have an area that’s limited in what information can receive. Cisco allows for totally stubby areas which makes traffic highly efficient. A not-so-stubby area camouflages external routes for the sake of expediency.
LSAs interact with the traffic and only some areas permit different LSAs. See which with Jeremy's explanation.
