London

London ⁱ/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km²) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.

City of London

The City of London is a city and county within London. It constituted most of London from its settlement by the Romans in the 1st century AD to the Middle Ages, but the agglomeration has since grown far beyond the City's borders. The City is now only a tiny part of the metropolis of London, though it remains a notable part of central London. It is one of two districts of London to hold city status; the other is the adjacent City of Westminster.

The City of London is widely referred to simply as the City (often written as just City and differentiated from the phrase "the city of London" by capitalising City) and is also colloquially known as the Square Mile, as it is 1.12 sq mi (2.90 km²) in area. Both of these terms are also often used as metonyms for the United Kingdom's trading and financial services industries, which continue a notable history of being largely based in the City.

The name London is now ordinarily used for a far wider area than just the City. London often denotes the sprawling London metropolis, or the 32 London boroughs, in addition to the City of London itself. This wider usage of London is documented as far back as the 16th century.

Tower of London

The Tower of London, officially Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, separated from the eastern edge of the square mile of the City of London by the open space known as Tower Hill. It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. The White Tower, which gives the entire castle its name, was built by William the Conqueror in 1078, and was a resented symbol of oppression, inflicted upon London by the new ruling elite. The castle was used as a prison from 1100 (Ranulf Flambard) until 1952 (Kray twins), although that was not its primary purpose. A grand palace early in its history, it served as a royal residence. As a whole, the Tower is a complex of several buildings set within two concentric rings of defensive walls and a moat. There were several phases of expansion, mainly under Kings Richard the Lionheart, Henry III, and Edward I in the 12th and 13th centuries. The general layout established by the late 13th century remains despite later activity on the site.

Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is an area in the southern part of Bali, Indonesia, known as an enclave of large 5-star resorts. It is located 22 kilometres from Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali, and administered under Kuta South District. Nusa Dua means two islands (nusa 'island', dua 'two'), because there are 2 islands in bay of Bali Tourism Development Corporation area, in the southern side lays Peninsula Island and the northern side lays Nusa Dharma Island which it is smaller, but has Pura/Temple Nusa Dharma and shadier.

Geger Beach

Geger Beach is located in Sawangan, about 3 kilometers from the southern area of Nusa Dua. The sea here is calm so farmers grow seaweed here and tourists swim here.

Tanjung Benoa

Immediately north of Nusa Dua enclave is the peninsula of Tanjung Benoa that includes cheaper hotels and Benoa village. A multi-denominational area, it includes a mosque, and Chinese and Hindu temples in close proximity. Much of the beach's sand was eroded away following the mining of the nearby barrier reef for construction materials.

The City of London is one of the oldest parts of the capitol, as it is located where London was first founded almost 2000 years ago. The City of London roughly constitutes the same area that was mostly unaltered until the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th Century. Although the old City's gates are long gone, you can still see their location in the street names. The Tower of London To the east of the City you'll find the Tower of London by the River Thames. The tower was built in 1066, and the imposing building still reflects its turbulent past. You can see the crown jewels, royal armor and of course the Tower's famous ravens here. Legend says that if the ravens were ever to leave the Tower, England would fall. Leadenhall Market in the City Leadenhall Market on Gracechurch Street dates back to the 14th century, and is one of the oldest markets in London. Previously a meat, game and poultry market, the covered market was redesigned in 1881 by Sir Horace Jones, who created a beautiful roof structure. This, coupled with the cobbled walkways and beautiful decorations, make it a popular tourist attraction. Nowadays, you can also find clothes shops and more next to the flowers and fresh produce that are still sold here. TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM, JAKARTA-- Bareskrim Polri mendalami aset bos agen perjalanan umrah First Travel, Andika Surachman dan istrinya, Anniesa Hasibuan, di luar negeri. Salah satu yang tengah diselidiki adalah restoran Nusa Dua di London, Inggris. "Menurut tersangka, dia beli restoran di Inggris. Ini salah satu aset juga," ujar Direktur Tindak Pidana Umum Bareskrim Polri Brigjen Pol Herry Rudolf Nahak, di Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, Selasa (22/8/2017). Menurut pengakuan Andika dan Anniesa, restoran itu dibeli pada 2016. Harga belinya saat itu, 700 ribu poundsterling atau setara dengan Rp 12.600.000.000. Namun, belum diketahui nama restoran tersebut. "Infonya (restoran) masih beroperasi," kata Herry. Hingga kini Bareskrim Polri masih melakukan pengecekan dokumen-dokumen kepemilikan sah atas restoran tersebut yang ditaksir bernilai Rp15Miliar. Berdasarkan akun Instagram milik bos First Travel yang sudah menyandang status tersangka, Anniesa Hasibuan, Rabu (23/8/2017), memposting mengenai restoran yang diberi nama Nusa Dua. Anniesa pun sempat mempromosikan restoran ini. Dalam penelusuran Tribunnews.com, restoran Nusa Dua itu berada di 118-120 Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 5EP, Inggris Raya. Restoran Nusa Dua menyajikan aneka menu masakan tradisional Indonesia, seperti Sate Kambing/Ayam, Gado-Gado, Tempe, Ayam Goreng/Bakar dengan sambal, Sop Buntut, Dendeng Balado, Pepes ikan, Kambing Cabe Ijo, dan lainnya. Pengunjung juga bisa menikmati hiburan di karaoke lounge.
