Tube & Berger

Tube & Berger is the alias of Deep House/Electronica producers Arndt Rörig and Marco Vidovic from Germany. The duo is best known in the United States for their 2004 #1 Billboard Hot Dance Airplay hit "Straight Ahead", featuring Chrissie Hynde on vocals.

In summer 2003, Zane Lowe featured Tube & Berger's single "Geradeaus" during his evening show on BBC Radio 1

They played together with Sonique and Zweiraumwohnung.

During 2013 they toured in Brazil, South Africa and Australia.

In December 2013 appeared their Video "Set it Off".

Takashi Miike

Takashi Miike (三池 崇史, Miike Takashi, born August 24, 1960) is a highly prolific and controversial Japanese filmmaker. He has directed over ninety theatrical, video, and television productions since his debut in 1991. Miike is credited with directing fifteen productions in the years 2001 and 2002 alone. His films range from violent and bizarre to dramatic and family-friendly.

Biography

Early life

Miike was born in Yao, Osaka, Japan, an area inhabited by the working class and immigrants. His family was originally from Kumamoto Prefecture. During World War II, his grandfather was stationed in China and Korea, and his father was born in Seoul. His father worked as a welder and his mother as seamstress. Although he claimed to have attended classes only rarely, he graduated from Yokohama Vocational School of Broadcast and Film (Yokohama Hōsō Eiga Senmon Gakkō) under the guidance of renowned filmmaker Shohei Imamura, the founder and Dean of that institution.

Career

Miike's first films were television productions, but he also began directing several direct-to-video V-Cinema releases. Miike still directs V-Cinema productions intermittently due to the creative freedom afforded by the less stringent censorship of the medium and the riskier content that the producers will allow.

Tkay Maidza

Takudzwa Victoria Rosa Maidza, known by her stage name Tkay Maidza (/tiːkeɪ ˈmaɪdzɑː/ tee-KAY_MY-dza), is an Australian singer and rapper, born in Zimbabwe.

Biography

Takudzwa Victoria Rosa Maidza was born in Zimbabwe. Her father is an industrial chemist and her mother is a metallurgist. In 2001, her family moved to Australia when she was five years old. They lived in Perth and Kalgoorlie in Western Australia and in Whyalla in South Australia before relocating to Adelaide in 2010. She graduated from high school at age 16 and studied architecture at the University of South Australia before becoming a full-time musician.

Maidza took part in Adelaide's Northern Sound System artist development program and released her debut single, "Brontosaurus", at age 17 with producer BadCop. She has since released an EP, Switch Tape, featuring collaborations with Night Slugs' Bok Bok and producer SBTRKT. Its single, "Switch Lanes", was voted into the 2014 Triple J Hottest 100 at number 100. It would have placed 101st if Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" had not been disqualified from the count. Maidza had a strong number 66 in the 2015 countdown with her 2015 single "MOB". MOB was Maidza's first song to be played on Australian commercial radio.
