Faran Ensemble is a three player group, who joined each other in a
spiritual quest, expressed in music and sounds. It has been years now that
these players have deeply engaged themselves in studying the musical
instruments and the theory of music with the best teachers in the country
and abroad.
The instruments played originate from esoteric and ancient traditions of
the East.
KAMANTCHE is an ancient musical instrument whose origins are
rooted in Azerbaijan.
OUD, one of the most ancient string instruments, is found anywhere it is
customary to have very strong and dark tea in a small cup.
The Percussion which have been in use since the first human heartbeat.
The ensemble members grew up and come from different places,
backgrounds and sceneries. From the very dry desert to the luscious green
through the hectic noisy city sounds. The composed works reflect all of
these as they were composed together by the four ensemble members.
Both the composition-works and the musicians are deeply influenced by
the Eastern musical system called 'Maqam' .
Maqam in translation means all at once a physical place in the musical scale,
the fingers' placing on the strings and the melody which expresses this.
But more than that, 'Maqam' refers to a meditative place. A state that the
player must be attended so the music will be played as it should be.
In ancient cultures each Maqam has its own particular hour in the day,
season and a specific ceremonial connection.
Faran, is a dry desert wadi, which fills with water and life only in rainy
winters; and in the hot season, otherwise silent. It crosses Israel on its
way from Sinai, ignoring all borders.
Music for us is a journey.

The Thai classical music "Piphat Khryang Ha" ensemble practicing for the World Heritage Cultural Center / National Geographic Travel Show is scheduled for Sunday January 12 from 11:30am to 12:20pm at the Convention Center in Rosemont.
The Thai court music constructed the theme of the circular gong, layering by oboe and xylophone and the rhythmic instruments respectively. This demonstration shows the relationship of Thai musical instruments.

Musical ensemble
A musical ensemble, also known as a music group, is a group of people who perform instrumental or vocal music, typically known by a distinct name. In classical music, trios or quartets either blend the sounds of musical instrument families (such as piano, strings, and wind instruments) or group together instruments from the same instrument family, such as string ensembles or wind ensembles. In jazz ensembles, the instruments typically include wind instruments (one or more saxophones, trumpets, etc.), one or two chordal "comping" instruments (electric guitar, piano, or organ), a bass instrument (bass guitar or double bass), and a drummer or percussionist. In rock ensembles, usually called rock bands, there are usually guitars and keyboards (piano, electric piano, Hammond organ, synthesizer, etc.) and a rhythm section made up of a bass guitar and drum kit.
Classical chamber music
In Western classical music, smaller ensembles are called chamber music ensembles. The terms duet, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, septet, octet, nonet and dectet describe groups of two up to ten musicians, respectively. A group of eleven musicians, such as found in The Carnival of the Animals, is called either a hendectet or an undectet (see Latin numerical prefixes). A solo is not an ensemble because it only contains one musician.

Românii au talent
Românii au talent (English: Romanians Have Talent) is a TV show which first aired on 18 February 2011. The project is a franchise of Got Talent, developed by Simco Limited. The hosts of the show are Smiley and Pavel Bartoș. The original judges were Romanian singer Andra, Pro TV star and presenter Andi Moisescu and Romanian dancer, Mihai Petre. The grand prize is €120,000. The current jury panel is : Andra, singer and celebrity, Bebe Cotimanis, a well-known TV actor , Mihaela Rădulescu, a famous TV presenter, and Andi Moisescu, also a magazine TV presenter.
Auditions
The auditions take place in front of the judges and a live audience at different cities across the Romania. Unlike X Factor, at any time during the audition, the judges may show disapproval to the act by pressing a buzzer which lights a large red "X" on the stage, indicating that they particularly dislike the act and do not wish the performance to continue. If all the judges press their buzzers, the act must end immediately.

The Thai classical music "Piphat Khryang Ha" ensemble practicing for the World Heritage Cultural Center / National Geographic Travel Show is scheduled for Sunday January 12 from 11:30am to 12:20pm at the Convention Center in Rosemont. The Thai court music constructed the theme of the circular gong, layering by oboe and xylophone and the rhythmic instruments respectively. Faran Ensemble is a three player group, who joined each other in a

instruments and the theory of music with the best teachers in the country

The instruments played originate from esoteric and ancient traditions of
the East.
KAMANTCHE is an ancient musical instrument whose origins are
rooted in Azerbaijan.
OUD, one of the most ancient string instruments, is found anywhere it is
customary to have very strong and dark tea in a small cup.
The Percussion which have been in use since the first human heartbeat.
The ensemble members grew up and come from different places,
backgrounds and sceneries. From the very dry desert to the luscious green
through the hectic noisy city sounds. The composed works reflect all of
these as they were composed together by the four ensemble members.
Both the composition-works and the musicians are deeply influenced by
the Eastern musical system called 'Maqam' .
Maqam in translation means all at once a physical place in the musical scale,
the fingers' placing on the strings and the melody which expresses this.
But more than that, 'Maqam' refers to a meditative place. A state that the
player must be attended so the music will be played as it should be.
In ancient cultures each Maqam has its own particular hour in the day,
season and a specific ceremonial connection.
Faran, is a dry desert wadi, which fills with water and life only in rainy
winters; and in the hot season, otherwise silent. It crosses Israel on its
way from Sinai, ignoring all borders.
Music for us is a journey.

The Thai classical music "Piphat Khryang Ha" ensemble practicing for the World Heritage Cultural Center / National Geographic Travel Show is scheduled for Sunday January 12 from 11:30am to 12:20pm at the Convention Center in Rosemont.
The Thai court music constructed the theme of the circular gong, layering by oboe and xylophone and the rhythmic instruments respectively. This demonstration shows the relationship of Thai musical instruments.

Faran Ensemble is a three player group, who joined each other in a
spiritual quest, expressed in music and sounds. It has been years now that
these players have deeply engaged themselves in studying the musical
instruments and the theory of music with the best teachers in the country
and abroad.
The instruments played originate from esoteric and ancient traditions of
the East.
KAMANTCHE is an ancient musical instrument whose origins are
rooted in Azerbaijan.
OUD, one of the most ancient string instruments, is found anywhere it is
customary to have very strong and dark tea in a small cup.
The Percussion which have been in use since the first human heartbeat.
The ensemble members grew up and come from different places,
backgrounds and sceneries. From the very dry desert to the luscious green
through the hectic noisy city sounds. The composed works reflect all of
these as they were composed together by the four ensemble members.
Both the composition-works and the musicians are deeply influenced by
the Eastern musical system called 'Maqam' .
Maqam in translation means all at once a physical place in the musical scale,
the fingers' placing on the strings and the melody which expresses this.
But more than that, 'Maqam' refers to a meditative place. A state that the
player must be attended so the music will be played as it should be.
In ancient cultures each Maqam has its own particular hour in the day,
season and a specific ceremonial connection.
Faran, is a dry desert wadi, which fills with water and life only in rainy
winters; and in the hot season, otherwise silent. It crosses Israel on its
way from Sinai, ignoring all borders.
Music for us is a journey.

The word sinawi is also synonymous with musical improvisation based on various rhythmic and melodic devices--the most important characteristic of this genre. August 7, 2013 - Korean sinawi music originally accompanied propitiatory rites presided over by a female shaman, or mudang. The word sinawi is also synonymous with musical improvisation based on various rhythmic and melodic devices--the most important characteristic of this genre. This group of sinawi performed by five performers and varying instrumentation evokes the otherworldly sonic space of the shamanistic spirit realm. Dr. Ju-Yong Ha, a renowned ethnomusicologist, will provide historical context for the performances, shedding light on the tradition and its transition to the modern music world.

For the Mozart "Divertimenti," at times the orchestration was simplified by leaving out certain instruments. Some of this music was recorded in two different ways: once in a normal concert formation and then again with all the players in separate rooms. This allows us after the fact to move instruments around. This effect stimulates the brain and can grab our attention and pull us into a deeper mode of listening. You feel as though you are sitting in the middle of the ensemble and hearing the sounds around you. Later the well known piece used for PBS's Masterpiece Theater is played slowly by Harp, Flute, and Viola as a gentler introduction to the later, more traditional version of this energetic piece with Trumpet. Tempos mostly range from 120-140 b.p.m. Our fastest tempos are designed for optimum vitality and peak performance.

Faran Ensemble is a three player group, who joined each other in a
spiritual quest, expressed in music and sounds. It has been years now that
these players have deeply engaged themselves in studying the musical
instruments and the theory of music with the best teachers in the country
and abroad.
The instruments played originate from esoteric and ancient traditions of
the East.
KAMANTCHA is an ancient musical instrument whose origins are
rooted in Azerbaijan.
OUD, one of the most ancient string instruments, is found anywhere it is
customary to have very strong and dark tea in a small cup.
The Percussion which have been in use since the first human heartbeat.
The ensemble members grew up and come from different places,
backgrounds and sceneries. From the very dry desert to the luscious green
through the hectic noisy city sounds. The composed works reflect all of
these as they were composed together by the four ensemble members.
Both the composition-works and the musicians are deeply influenced by
the Eastern musical system called 'Maqam' .
Maqam in translation means all at once a physical place in the musical scale,
the fingers' placing on the strings and the melody which expresses this.
But more than that, 'Maqam' refers to a meditative place. A state that the
player must be attended so the music will be played as it should be.
In ancient cultures each Maqam has its own particular hour in the day,
season and a specific ceremonial connection.
Faran, is a dry desert wadi, which fills with water and life only in rainy
winters; and in the hot season, otherwise silent. It crosses Israel on its
way from Sinai, ignoring all borders.
Music for us is a journey.
