The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra closes its Mozart Festival with a live accompaniment of the soundtrack of Milos Forman's Academy Award-winning 1984 film Amadeus. Audiences will hear first-hand the sound of a cinematic symphony orchestra, which will play favourites such as Symphony No. 25 and the Requiem.

BEHIND THE SCENES EXHIBITION

The 14 resident artists who call Gasworks Arts Park home have united to showcase their work in their first group exhibition in more than four years. Closing this weekend, Behind the Scenes features pieces spanning a variety of mediums, including Leah Jackson's quirky porcelain homewares, Elizabeth Milsom's silk scarves designed from plants found in Albert Park, and John Meade and Tanja George's sculptures.

Gertrude Street becomes an outdoor gallery as the Gertrude Street Projection Festival returns for its 10th anniversary, illuminating Fitzroy with dynamic art projections.
