Heads-up Portland schools and PTAs will be discussing reintroducing School Resource Officers (SRO) in January, 2023. It was only a few years ago that we finally got rid of them. There's got to be a better community orientated solution.

I was on the line at the Syracuse Sysco. The energy those folks had was amazing. One member told me that the Syracuse local had the worst contract. The other locals refused to vote on a contract until Syracuse did. This is what happens when unions coordinate bargaining.
