UPDATE:
The severe weather warning for the lower west, central west, south west and great southern regions of Western Australia has been cancelled.
The Bureau of Meteorology advises windy conditions, with gusty showers and thunderstorms are still likely over the remainder of the south west parts, including the Perth metropolitan area throughout Monday.
A severe weather warning continues for widespread damaging wind gusts to 100km/h for the area southeast of Bremer Bay, to Narrogin, to Hyden, to Esperance. Conditions will ease from Monday evening.
Damaging surf conditions are likely which could cause beach erosion between Geraldton and Albany on Monday.
"Thankfully the front wasn't as strong as it could have been last night," Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Jessica Wilks said.
"Showers and storms are forecast for today, we could see some gusty winds."
Overnight Rottnest was hit with 91km/h winds, while Ocean Reef was battered by 85km/h gusts.
Just over 5 millimetres of rain fell in Perth, 20 millimetres at Perth Airport and 25 millimetres in the hills.
Perth is forecast to hit 19C on Monday.
