Shocking footage has emerged of a pedestrian and truck driver punching and kicking each other in the middle of a busy Melbourne intersection in a frightening case of road rage.
The brawl happened on Toorak Road about 10.45am on Tuesday, near the corner of Chapel Street, in South Yarra.

One man, believed to be the pedestrian, can be seen repeatedly punching the other man in the face, the dash cam footage obtained by Channel Seven shows.
The truck driver, who is wearing a grey and orange T-shirt, appears to kick the pedestrian in the chest.
The pedestrian then falls to the ground.
A bystander can be seen running to the aid of the man on the road, while the truck driver walks away from the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
The pedestrian was taken to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition.
Traffic came to a standstill at the busy intersection as the attack played out in front of motorists and tram commuters.
It is at least the second time in five months that there has been a violent road rage incident in South Yarra.
In March, a 53-year-old man was savagely beaten while driving on Toorak Road.
Road rage assaults have jumped by 85 per cent across Victoria in the past five years, with the number of reported cases increasing from 210 to 389 in the past five years, according to Crime Statistics Agency data.
