10/11/16. La exposición 'Supersignos' es un recorrido por los diseños de Cruz Novillo y Félix Beltrán.
Promovido por la DIMAD Fundación y su presidente, el diseñador Manuel Estrada, y en el marco de la 5º edición de la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID16), 'Supersignos' es un nuevo proyecto de encuentro y difusión de las figuras más relevantes del diseño iberoamericano.
Con una trayectoria de más de cinco décadas, Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, dos de los máximos representantes del diseño, han trabajado conjuntamente en esta exposición basada en el trabajo de identidad y síntesis de numerosos signos. En 'Supersignos' los dos muestran una percepción concreta de cada imagen, potenciando el proceso perceptivo de la forma como el auténtico generador de significado. Su lenguaje gráfico es geométrico, riguroso, funcionalista e intelectual.
Además, junto a los 150 logos en blanco y negro se exponen aproximadamente 90 fichas que recogen una introducción al alfabeto visual y los principios del diseño a través de los signos. Este espacio denominado 'Confluencias' abarca las opiniones de Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, acompañadas de una selección de textos explicativos de destacados autores y diseñadores como Otl Aicher, John Berger, Jill Butler, Norberto Chaves, John Chistopher Jones, John Dewey, Michael Evarny, Manuel Estrada o Alan Fletcher, entre otros. Unas fichas realizadas con la colaboración de alumnos de Comunicación Visual y Teoría de la Imagen de la Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid.
Otro de lo aspectos principales de esta muestra, comisariada por los diseñadores Sonia Díaz y Gabriel Martínez, es su original diseño. La distribución ordenada y armónica de los logos trata de convertir el espacio en un sistema reticular, un sistema de proporciones basado en un módulo, cuyo patrón se deriva del propio material. De este modo, la idea básica de 'Supersignos' es reforzar el concepto de síntesis y orden, invitando a la reflexión conceptual.

Luis Alberto Dubuc Jr. (born January 28, 1985) is an American musician from Dallas, Texas. He was a member of The Secret Handshake and Of Legends. He is currently the man behind Mystery Skulls.
History
Luis Dubuc started out as a drummer for the metal band Thirty Called Arson. Luis felt restrained by playing only music that was aggressive. After being a spectator at concert put on by Mouse On Mars, he purchased a Macintosh computer and experimented with electronic sounds. Dubuc made his first album Antarctica using the moniker The Secret Handshake. The next year, after releasing This Is Bigger Than You And I, Dubuc began composing his next album. After writing all of the songs, Luis spent August 2006 recording the album in his friend's apartment. Since then, his album One Full Year was released through Triple Crown Records and has sold almost 18 000 copies. After Dubuc finished touring in support of One Full Year, Dubuc came out with My Name Up In Lights in 2009 and Night & Day, a departure from his electronica music in favor of a Motown-influenced neo-soul sound, in 2010.

Promovido por la DIMAD Fundación y su presidente, el diseñador Manuel Estrada, y en el marco de la 5º edición de la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID16), 'Supersignos' es un nuevo proyecto de encuentro y difusión de las figuras más relevantes del diseño iberoamericano.
Con una trayectoria de más de cinco décadas, Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, dos de los máximos representantes del diseño, han trabajado conjuntamente en esta exposición basada en el trabajo de identidad y síntesis de numerosos signos. En 'Supersignos' los dos muestran una percepción concreta de cada imagen, potenciando el proceso perceptivo de la forma como el auténtico generador de significado. Su lenguaje gráfico es geométrico, riguroso, funcionalista e intelectual.
Además, junto a los 150 logos en blanco y negro se exponen aproximadamente 90 fichas que recogen una introducción al alfabeto visual y los principios del diseño a través de los signos. Este espacio denominado 'Confluencias' abarca las opiniones de Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, acompañadas de una selección de textos explicativos de destacados autores y diseñadores como Otl Aicher, John Berger, Jill Butler, Norberto Chaves, John Chistopher Jones, John Dewey, Michael Evarny, Manuel Estrada o Alan Fletcher, entre otros. Unas fichas realizadas con la colaboración de alumnos de Comunicación Visual y Teoría de la Imagen de la Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid.
Otro de lo aspectos principales de esta muestra, comisariada por los diseñadores Sonia Díaz y Gabriel Martínez, es su original diseño. La distribución ordenada y armónica de los logos trata de convertir el espacio en un sistema reticular, un sistema de proporciones basado en un módulo, cuyo patrón se deriva del propio material. De este modo, la idea básica de 'Supersignos' es reforzar el concepto de síntesis y orden, invitando a la reflexión conceptual.

Promovido por la DIMAD Fundación y su presidente, el diseñador Manuel Estrada, y en el marco de la 5º edición de la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID16), 'Supersignos' es un nuevo proyecto de encuentro y difusión de las figuras más relevantes del diseño iberoamericano.
Con una trayectoria de más de cinco décadas, Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, dos de los máximos representantes del diseño, han trabajado conjuntamente en esta exposición basada en el trabajo de identidad y síntesis de numerosos signos. En 'Supersignos' los dos muestran una percepción concreta de cada imagen, potenciando el proceso perceptivo de la forma como el auténtico generador de significado. Su lenguaje gráfico es geométrico, riguroso, funcionalista e intelectual.
Además, junto a los 150 logos en blanco y negro se exponen aproximadamente 90 fichas que recogen una introducción al alfabeto visual y los principios del diseño a través de los signos. Este espacio denominado 'Confluencias' abarca las opiniones de Félix Beltrán y Cruz Novillo, acompañadas de una selección de textos explicativos de destacados autores y diseñadores como Otl Aicher, John Berger, Jill Butler, Norberto Chaves, John Chistopher Jones, John Dewey, Michael Evarny, Manuel Estrada o Alan Fletcher, entre otros. Unas fichas realizadas con la colaboración de alumnos de Comunicación Visual y Teoría de la Imagen de la Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid.
Otro de lo aspectos principales de esta muestra, comisariada por los diseñadores Sonia Díaz y Gabriel Martínez, es su original diseño. La distribución ordenada y armónica de los logos trata de convertir el espacio en un sistema reticular, un sistema de proporciones basado en un módulo, cuyo patrón se deriva del propio material. De este modo, la idea básica de 'Supersignos' es reforzar el concepto de síntesis y orden, invitando a la reflexión conceptual.
