Mark may refer to:
In architecture, a hall is a relatively large space enclosed by a roof and walls. In the Iron Age, a mead hall was such a simple building and was the residence of a lord and his retainers. Later, rooms were partitioned from it, and the space next to the front door became the entrance hall. Today, the (entrance) hall of a house is the space next to the front door or vestibule leading to the rooms directly and/or indirectly. Where the hall inside the front door of a house is elongated, it may be called a passage, corridor (from Spanish corredor used in El Escorial and 100 years later in Castle Howard) or hallway.
The term hall is often used to designate a British or Irish country house such as a hall house, or specifically a Wealden hall house, and manor houses.
In later medieval Europe, the main room of a castle or manor house was the great hall. In a medieval building, the hall was where the fire was kept. With time, its functions as dormitory, kitchen, parlour and so on were divided off to separate rooms or, in the case of the kitchen, a separate building.
Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian and Christian rock band started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall, who serves as the band's lead vocalist, as part of a youth group at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. They later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia, and more members joined. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. The band has won Grammy and Dove Awards.
Christian rock group Casting Crowns began as a student worship band in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1999. Led by singer, songwriter, and youth pastor Mark Hall, the group initially included guitarists Juan DeVevo and Hector Cervantes, violinist Melodee DeVevo, and drummer Rob Cervantes (a.k.a. Chavez). The group relocated to Stockbridge, Georgia, in 2001, adding Chris Huffman on bass, Megan Garrett on keyboards and accordion, and drummer Andy Williams. This augmented version of Casting Crowns released two independent albums on CD, both of which were well received in the Atlanta area. Both independent albums were efforts on the part of Mark Hall and the rest of the group as outreach projects for youth in the area. The group won the GMA regional songwriters competition at Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, Florida, in both the "Best Song" and the "Best Artist" categories in 2004. Although the group was not searching for a record label, one of the group's albums found its way into the hands of Mark Miller, lead singer for country group Sawyer Brown, who was struck by Casting Crowns' driving pop/rock style and Hall's vocal delivery of his hard-hitting but devout songs. Miller signed Casting Crowns to his fledgling Beach Street Records, a division of Reunion Records with distribution by the Provident Label Group, making Casting Crowns the first artist signed to Beach Street Records.

We had a chance to sit down with Mark Hall of Casting Crowns and talk about what happens when life gets real. Here are some of the things he shared. "Being a youth pastor half my life, all my days are about making other people's days better. I'm going to get you through this, here's a Scripture for it, I'm going to walk you through. And then my doctor called and I remember thinking, "This is about to happen. I'm about to have that story I've been helping other people through." He said there's a tumor in your kidney and it's pretty much the size of your kidney and we're going to have to get it out. That really rocked me. It's never been me before. I've always been the guy that's encouraged my students to not feel like they have to fix everything when they have a friend that's hurting....

Nag iisa
Sa isang gabing kay dilim
Walang kasama
Kundi ang mga bituin
Nag iisip
Kung ano ngabang mararating
Ang isang tulad kong
Wala lang man kadating dating
Sayo...
Hinahanap hanap ko ang isang tulad mo
Bakit ngaba ako sayoy nagka ganito?
Ilang taon pabang titiisin ko
Sapat nba ang isang buong buhay ko?
Mahal ko.
Aking pangrap kailan kita makakamtan
Alam ng dyos kung gaano, ako sayoy nahihibang
Sana ay marinig mo itong awit ko.
At ng malaman mong ito ay para sayo
Mahal ko.
