Daniel Dumile (pronounced /ˈduːmᵻleɪ/ DOO-mə-lay; born 9 January 1971) is a Britishhip hop recording artist who spent most of his life in the United States. Best known for his "super villain" stage persona and unique lyrics, Dumile has taken on several stage names in his career, most notably as Metal Face Doom or MF Doom. He has appeared in several collaborative projects such as Madvillain (with Madlib), DANGERDOOM (with Danger Mouse), DOOMSTARKS (with Ghostface Killah), JJ DOOM (with Jneiro Jarel), and NehruvianDOOM (with Bishop Nehru).
Dumile was born in 1971, in London, England, the son of a Trinidadian mother and a Zimbabwean father. He moved with his family to New York and was raised on Long Island, New York, although he never became an American citizen.
As Zev Love X, he formed the group KMD, in 1988 with his younger brother DJ Subroc and another MC called Rodan. When Rodan left the group, Zev found another MC to replace Rodan named Onyx the Birthstone Kid.A&R rep Dante Ross learned of KMD through the hip hop group 3rd Bass, and signed the group to Elektra Records. Dumile and KMD's recording debut came on 3rd Bass's song "The Gas Face" from The Cactus Album, followed in 1991 with KMD's album Mr. Hood, which became a minor hit through its singles "Peachfuzz", "Who Me?" and heavy video play on cable TV's Yo! MTV Raps and Rap City.
MC Serch (born Michael Berrin; May 6, 1967) is an American hip hop MC and former member of 3rd Bass.
Serch grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens, attending Far Rockaway High School, and graduated from Music & Art High School. He is of Jewish descent.
After recording three albums with 3rd Bass—The Cactus Album (1989), The Cactus Revisited (1990), and Derelicts of Dialect (1991)—Serch launched a solo career with Return of the Product (1992, Def Jam). The album featured two hit singles: "Here It Comes" (which hit #1 on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks chart); and "Back to the Grill" featuring Chubb Rock, Red Hot Lover Tone, and Nas. Serch was the executive producer of Nas’ Illmatic, one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the 1990s. He also helped to cultivate the rapper O.C. after hearing him on the Organized Konfusion song "Fudge Pudge," helping him secure a record contract with Wild Pitch Records. In 1995, Serch also mentored the newly formed Non Phixion.
Since retiring from performing, Serch has run a promotions company (Serchlite Music). He appeared in Spike Lee's Bamboozled (2000) as a member of the fictitious hip-hop group Mau Maus (played by other real-life hip-hop performers such as Mos Def, Charli Baltimore and Canibus). His character was a white revolutionary who was supposed to be "1/16 black". From 2003 he hosted Serch In The AM on Detroit Urban Radio Station FM 98 WJLB; he was the first Jewish DJ at that station. MC Serch was dismissed from WJLB in March 2006, reportedly due to a dispute over a Super Bowl weekend party at the club "Motor City Live." Serch also hosted the VH1 reality series Ego Trip's The (White) Rapper Show, known for his catch phrase: "Woop-WOOP!", which ended in March 2007. A follow-up show, ego trip's Miss Rap Supreme, debuted in 2008.

This video is from the DVD that came with the special edition MM.. FOOD CD re-release. The video is a compilation of live performances during his MM.. FOOD DRIVE TOUR in 2004/2005. I was at the Philadelphia show myself (you can actually see me in the crowd @14:18) and although I personally think DOOM's music isn't for a live setting, it was still fun to see the world's greatest rapper on stage performing right in front of me. This tour was one he actually went and performed himself, no impostors like in recent years.

DOOM’s love for Sade is the stuff of legend at this point – just listen to Operation: Doomsday standout ‘Doomsday’, which is built around a large sample of Sade’s ‘Kiss of Love’. Young Portsmouth-based producer Seanh2k11 has used this concept as the jump-off for SADEVILLAIN, an eight track EP that blends the best of DOOM with the best of Sade. Ever wanted to hear Sade’s ‘Silver Spoon’ mashed together with DOOM’s ‘My Favorite Ladies’? Well now you can. It’s actually quite good. MF DOOM is responsible for some of the greatest things to ever come out of hiphop/RAP. He should be a model for any up and coming artist. One of the best interviews with MF DOOM from one of the best radio shows Benji B on Radio 1 & 1xtra big ups to the man for this interview. Thought I would put this on youtube because I haven't seen it here. I identified as many of the beats and the album its on but some of them I couldn't tell so if you care about that you gotta track it down solo. The elusive and infamous MF DOOM takes over the show and chats in-depth with Benji. In a rare in-the-studio interview, he talks about his various projects as DOOM with Madlib, J Dilla and KMD and lots more. Progressive Hip Hop show featuring MF Doom interview

MF DOOM -My Favorite Ladies (KMD remix) Videographer - K. Smith/Adrian Miles Editor / Director - K. Smith After being introduced to writer Anita Ryder, only two weeks ago, we wasted no time in setting up an interview with her. The small in size and low key personality that she is has a laugh and smile that escapes those boundaries. And though she is still at the doorsteps of the industry she is budding as a hip-hop journalist in her own right. We had a fun interview with her and this is what we’re sharing with you.

[MF Doom]
Smack it up, flip it, pulled out, 'bout to fail
Sunday in the A-T-L and I'm all outta ale
Like a bat out of hell, tripped on a cat tail
Mutt drinkin out a pail, who let the rat out the cell?
Got all the ingredients and recipe, might as well
Since last week the bootlegger been in jail
If all else fail, inhale the ale
Makin sure they can't see your sale via snail mail
Mind like a sewer, servin rhyme on a skewer
Doom'll step to a fine dime like he knew her
My black sister, she said "Step back" before he kissed her
She did the dipper and the smack just missed her
There go a list of politics like Henry Kissinger
99% of rap is just a friendly issue to
I'm like these dudes must have some screws loose to hate y'all
Or a couple of ounces short of deuce-deuce or 8 Ball
Y'all know it's time for the end, when the day come
Buy an album, get rudely insulted over fake drums
Same CD's you get for free, you break 'em
Wa-alaikum, make 'em eat they food like steak'um
Why she wanna ask me if I could pass the paparika?
One hand on the mic, the other on the beaker
Every week or so peaked out the lab though, eureka
A technique to keep somethin uniquer in your speaker
For yo' information, I didn't do the beat y'all
It ain't my fault, if she didn't move her feet at all
Skeeter, got Peter to pay Paul
So you can drink it on Mary so she can play ball
... So let her have my scrilla
And cut it out with all that funny hand jive will ya?
All this trouble for a tall glass of Olde E
Drink it all fast, make you haul ass slowly
And rhymin to remember what you told me
Holey moley, did you get a load of her roley poley?
Yo G, remind me to remember what you told me
Whoever don't feel him build walls like a goalie
One for the money, two for the better green
Three for methanine-dioxymethamphetamine
Told the knock kneed ghetto queen get the head fiend
Tell him it's for Medallin and use oxcyocetaline
Who needs airplay, it's all just hearsay
Leave a wig like it was havin a bad hair day
Miracle glide master, asked him what's his secret
He said Shasta, and turned to formaldehyde faster
When I'm home with my lady, I try to duke her daily
One night she tried to flail me with her ukelele
Pack your heat, the Villain on the cover of Black Beat
With a bunch of crackers and some snack meat
... You better have my scrilla
Cut it out with all that funny hand jive will ya?
All this trouble for a tall glass of Olde E
Drink it all fast, make you haul ass slowly
Remind me to remember what you told me
Holey moley, did you get a load of her roley poley?
Yo G, remind me to remember what you told me
