So, it's been a really long time since we updated you "all" with news. Here's what we've been up to.
As of right now, God Harvest have been on an indefinite hiatus. The long and short of it is that between internal conflicts, life shit, bad luck, and creative differences it was best to stop when we did. Since then, we've managed to salvage a lot out of what we lost, which is more important than any fucking band. Period.
The bad luck was concerning the pressing of the LP. Basically got walked on, left behind, and they stole/disappeared our cash deposit. With that being said, it won't be coming out on LP and I have issued all of the refunds to all that pre-ordered. We obviously appreciate your support/ short term memory loss of buying it. Ha. We still have a handful of the cassette versions which have been shipping now forever and I'd recommend picking one up. Won't be pressed again to say the least. Go grab one here and they'll actually ship.
Here is some new projects we've got going on.
Vacuous Depths - Late 80's / Early 90's influenced death metal. We just finished recording a 6 song demo and it just got posted. Follow, fuck around.

G.I.M.P. - Scorn/Godflesh influenced industrial. This is an ongoing project with a good friend of mine (Austin) and we'll be doing more the rest of this year.

I'll be updating the blog periodically with new band stuff, and other updates. Thank you for your support, violence, and tolerating our shit.

Show Announcement and Loss/Grieving
Event Page: Here
We haven't played a show in a while as we've been taking some time for ourselves. Here is a nice show that we were asked to play. We figured "Why not". Should be wild. See you in the pit.
Cassettes will be available at the show, but if you're placing an order go here.
To those who don't know, we lost a great civil servant this week. A real hero and wild man. You will be missed, Rob Ford. You were great?

"Insulated" on Cassette Out Now, Pre-orders Updates
Once in a fucking while we actually have something that goes our way. This is one of those times. The cassettes finally arrived and orders have started shipping. A special thanks is in order to Rob at Planet Retro Records in St. Petersburg, FL. We shop his store enough to have paid for this several times over, but we bum him out more than anyone else, and Rob being a total masochist, decided to make God Harvest his first release on Planet Retro Records label. So thank you, Rob. To all of those people that sought after the demo and they ran out, this might be a good time to snag this.

No shows booked yet, but we have been writing a handful of new songs and trying to get some shows together for a little bit down the road.
For those who have placed a pre-order, thank you so much for your patience and your order is in place and received. This ugly-fuck of a record is hopefully bumming the shit out of everyone at the pressing plant amidst Third Man Records releases clogging the pipes. Release show will be announced once we get some good news about the records.

Grind Against Corruption, Whey, Soy, or Alpha Male
We're playing this small grind fest with a couple friends. We're going to change the world through sweet flyers.
So, a little while ago I was at a show that we weren't playing (surprise!). Friends of ours, AXIS were closing out the show as I walked into the show. If you're not familiar with these boys, they play some sweet 90's crossover type shit. Heavy, meat head fan base, but it's good. (I believe there were more Nails shirts in the crowd than Guerrilla Biscuits shirts). I was doing what I usually do at shows, heckling and saying weird things, with my voice cleverly disguised as a Minnesotan generally talking about how much cheese they must eat and protein content of such dietary decisions. You know, the usual.
At the end of the show, when everyone was leaving, I was congratulating of show-goers on being "alpha-as-fuck" and letting them know they were all great moshers. I apparently did this to bum out and bully the crowd because I got a very long talking-to about how/what I should say from one of the other band members. Dude comes up to me and says "Hey, man. How you been? I guess you didn't have any fun tonight, huh?" I stared confused and surprised by his comments. I replied "Hey, no, I had a good time. Why do you suspect otherwise?" He then goes on to say that he didn't think I liked the band, AXIS, and was making fun of everyone in the room that was watching them. (Keep in mind, that I was mid-conversation with the guitarist of AXIS while this was happening)
We went back and forth for a minute discussing the definition of "confrontation" and how it's not always violent and that THIS, what he was doing, was confrontation. I got scolded and told that I was a bully and the he was in-fact bullied when he was a kid. I asked him if he ever did anything like beat the shit out of the kid that bullied him. He replied "no". I told him, well I guess that it did have an effect on you, and that sucks, but you should've handled it with some form of confrontation. I told him that everyone experiences some level of bullying, some severe, some insignificant. He told me that a lot of the people walking out of the show mentioned they thought my intentions were to offend. I suggested that he tell THEM to come talk to me about it and I'd be glad to let them know otherwise. No one came in.
We need confrontation. We're all on the same team. If you want something fixed, do it. If you want change, push for it in positive ways, whether that means punching a shit-head in the face, or talking to said shit-head in order to deter their problem causing. The sensitivity levels are out of control.

5 Year Anniversary, New Songs, Pre-orders
Here's what you've missed or not cared about. We think you should be happy with this selection for a little while.
This weekend in St Pete we will be having some killer fun with some good friends. Also, we are turning 5 years old. We act about that old so it seems pretty logical to celebrate it by getting obliterated.
Here is the flyer from our first show. It was a rager. We peaked that day. Look at all that hype on one fucking flyer. I was fat too. That's also a plus.

Full Stream Available of LP, Pre- orders, Shows, Male Nudity
Weekend recap: Our boys on Maruta and DOC were awesome to see and throw the friz with. Showing a bunch of Frenchman the proper frisbee form was more than entertaining. It was great to play with Mother Brain. They're a bunch of solid dudes and a super tight band. Here's some nudes of all above mentioned parties.
Record News: Cvlt Nation have a full-stream of the LP going here. Make sure you check it out. It's got all of the songs for your stupid ears.

Shows, Release Update,
We have a show coming up this weekend with Noisem and Unsacred. Our buds in Weltesser and Sacridose are also playing and bringing the finest cush found in the sub-tropics. Next month, our boys in Maruta and some new friends from France, Department of Correction are coming to crush eardrums. In September, our dudes in Flying Snakes are getting back together for a reunion show and we'll be there to walk them down the aisle. Join us in their joyous occasion, celebrating masculinity and violence in the best way. You can find us by looking for the "shirtless ones" at the reception.
We've also been working on getting this LP out to press by next month so we can start getting pre-orders together. The art/layout is done and we're sending out the masters in August. Our good (local) friend, Rob, at Planet Retro Records is going to be putting out the cassette release. We will have a link to pre-orders in August up for the cassette and the LP once both are out to press. We will be doing some special stuff with each release for anyone who pre-orders. More information and pre-order information coming soon, you fucks. The release show is going to be stupid. You'll hate us more than you already do.
If you haven't heard the new songs yet, here is the link to our Band Camp page.
No shirt, no shoes, probably Tyler.

An Oldie, but a Goodie / Show
Another song for your idiot ears. All of us have always loved the song "Creatures" so we've re-recorded it for the LP. Little tweaks, but still a rager.

"Control" - 2nd new track from the LP
We have posted the song "Control", the first song on side one of the LP. Link - https://godharvest.bandcamp.com/track/control-2
Show Recap:
Thank you to everyone who didn't leave during our set at Florida Rules Fest. A special thank you to Tom for asking us to "clear out the kids" from the show that didn't bring their hardest mosh. You are old. The Maruta show was a special evening at the Orlando TGIFridays. Thanks for the hot wings, guys! Stay safe on the road, and good luck with the new record. Shit rules. Order it here.
We were short one member for that show. Austin got stuck at work. Without a doubt the only show everyone actually heard what we sounded like. Fucks. Enjoy the new song. We'll be posting a new song every Monday till the damn thing is completely uploaded.
We have an interested (local) label planning a cassette release of this mother fucker, so we'll keep you informed. It should come out way before the vinyl edition.

One Song to Rule Them All - "Life" debut from LP
After waiting, hours in the studio, mixing, not mixing, mastering, doing bullshit, recording, re-recording, we finally have some songs for you assholes. We don't move quick, but we do play fast. So get over it, listen to the damn song. This is the first song on side B of our full length LP titled "Life". We will be posting new songs here and there until the cassette and eventually the vinyl LP comes home from the pressing plant. Shit will bum you out.

Here is the final art for the cover as well because our impeccable standards of excellence are an outstanding pain in the ass.
In other news, we had some shows. Did you miss them? Probably. Here is a goodie coming up at the end of the month. Come do drugs and get loose with us in Orlando. We'll be playing all the new ragers with or without you. Once again, probably without.
