Andrew Lau Wai-Keung (born 4 April 1960) is a Hong Kong film director, cinematographer and producer. Lau began his career in the 1980s and 1990s, serving as a cinematographer to filmmakers such as Ringo Lam, Wong Jing and Wong Kar-wai. In the 1990s, Lau decided to have more creative freedom as a cinematographer by becoming a film director and producer. Apart from making films in his native Hong Kong, Lau has also made films in China, Korea and the United States. A highly prolific filmmaker, Lau has made films in a variety of genres, and is most notable in the West for his action and crime films which include the Young and Dangerous film series, the Infernal Affairs trilogy (the latter co-directed together with Alan Mak), and Revenge of the Green Dragons (executive produced by Martin Scorsese).
Andrew Lau was born 4 April 1960, and is one of six siblings. As a child, he was raised in the New Territories of Hong Kong. His father worked as a construction worker on Hong Kong Island. Since his parents did not have time to concentrate on all of their children, Lau had developed an interest in photography. Lau was also a Catholic, and would go to church every week, learning how to play a guitar. As a child and high school student, Lau admits to not liking Hong Kong, since it was a British colony.

From directing team Andrew Lau and Alan Mak (Infernal Affairs trilogy), Initial D -- Drift Racer features some of the most exciting driving scenes ever committed to film. It tells the story of a police officer who infiltrates the Triads, and a police officer secretly working for the same gang. The Chinese title means "the non-stop path", a reference to Avici, the lowest level of hell in Buddhism. Loo and Lau talked with me about their reasons for telling this story, how they found the story, the process of adaptation, filming in the U.S after filming in China, etc... Andrew Lau was the director of the Infernal Affairs trilogy later remade by Martin Scorsese into The Departed. For this and other reasons, Scorsese came to executive produce Revenge of the Green Dragons. The movie tells a real life story about Chinese gangs in New York City during the 80's. It is being released on October 23, 2014

Hey everyone! This is a very casual, "get unready with me" type of video - which I think is really "REAL" and I hope you like how unedited this really is. So this was a cool little video because it was the first time I actually got to see Edward Avila in person! Watch him take off his makeup and do his travel night time skincare routine. Also excuse the typos in the video of his name please. For those of who don't know who he is, he is a beauty guru based in Seoul, Korea - and makes videos on makeup looks and skincare. Please go check his channel out through this link: https://www.youtube.com/user/mrpanda101 If you enjoyed this video, please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE + LIKE + COMMENT on this video. Every little engagement means a lot to me. Thank you my wonderful subbies (:

Porto's Bakery. A cuban bakery that started in the 1960's here in California. It has built up such a cult following to the point where people line up for an hour every day to get a bite of their delicious potato balls and cheese rolls. Yes, I waited for 5 hours at the grand opening of the new Porto's Bakery. I cannot describe the mixed emotions I am feeling. I wanted to feel content and proud of myself that I persisted. I also realized there were tons of articles written about the event - "so crazy that police issued a warning." I witnessed and was part of greatness today. http://www.ocweekly.com/restaurants/portos-bakery-grand-opening-in-buena-park-was-so-crazy-that-police-issued-a-warning-7935468 If you're in California or about to visit - try to check them out and get some of thei...
