Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley sat in on Sway In The Morning and discussed his new solo album Stony Hill, genre-blending, and working on Jay Z’s 4:44.
Stony Hill is Marley’s first solo album since 2005. The tracks speak on everything from social responsibility to kicking back and enjoying yourself. He explained that he’s grown tremendously in the last 12 years. Beyond it having been over a decade, he’s now a father which gives him a new perspective on life.
When discussing his involvement on 4:44, he revealed that he had actually come to LA to shoot a video when Jay Z contacted him. When they met in the studio, Jay played the album for him, gave him the hook to “Bam”, and let him freestyle a few bars, which was later pieced together to become his verse on the track.

Juan Carlos I of Spain
Juan Carlos (/ˌhwɑːŋˈkɑːrloʊs/, Spanish: [xwaŋˈkaɾlos]; Juan Carlos Alfonso Víctor María de Borbón y Borbón-Dos Sicilias, born 5 January 1938) reigned as King of Spain from 1975 to 2014, when he abdicated in favour of his son, Felipe VI.
Generalísimo Francisco Franco, the Spanish dictator, took over the government of Spain from the short-lived Second Spanish Republic by leading a successful rebellion in 1939, and ruled as "Regent to the [exiled] King of Spain". In 1969, he chose Prince Juan Carlos, grandson of King Alfonso XIII, to be the next head of state, bypassing his father Juan de Borbón and expecting him to continue Franco's own authoritarian regime. Juan Carlos became King on 22 November 1975, two days after Franco's death, the first reigning monarch since 1931. His father did not abdicate in favor of his son until 1977. Soon after enthronement, however, Juan Carlos introduced reforms to dismantle the Francoist regime and begin the Spanish transition to democracy. This led to the approval of the Spanish Constitution of 1978 in a referendum, which established a constitutional monarchy. In 1981, Juan Carlos played a major role in preventing a coup that attempted to revert Spain to Francoist government in the King's name.

Always Working
“It’s about making something better,” says director Yves Geleyn. “McDonald’s wanted to communicate how they’re always working to make a Happy Meal better, which can be told quite functionally, but we wanted to tell the story with some charm.” The 60-second spot – created alongside Leo Burnett London – follows a group of miniature men and women on a journey through the idyllic British countryside as they improve the Happy Meal’s contents. “We played with scale and proportion,” says Yves. “I liked the idea of these little characters working to make the box, which remains true to size, better.” It took Yves and his team of fifty people 12 weeks to bring the spot to life, building six sets, as well as 3D-printing and hand-painting hundreds of characters. “It’s filmed almost entirely using ...

Stony Hill is Marley’s first solo album since 2005. The tracks speak on everything from social responsibility to kicking back and enjoying yourself. He explained that he’s grown tremendously in the last 12 years. Beyond it having been over a decade, he’s now a father which gives him a new perspective on life.
When discussing his involvement on 4:44, he revealed that he had actually come to LA to shoot a video when Jay Z contacted him. When they met in the studio, Jay played the album for him, gave him the hook to “Bam”, and let him freestyle a few bars, which was later pieced together to become his verse on the track.

“It’s about making something better,” says director Yves Geleyn. “McDonald’s wanted to communicate how they’re always working to make a Happy Meal better, which can be told quite functionally, but we wanted to tell the story with some charm.”
The 60-second spot – created alongside Leo Burnett London – follows a group of miniature men and women on a journey through the idyllic British countryside as they improve the Happy Meal’s contents. “We played with scale and proportion,” says Yves. “I liked the idea of these little characters working to make the box, which remains true to size, better.”
It took Yves and his team of fifty people 12 weeks to bring the spot to life, building six sets, as well as 3D-printing and hand-painting hundreds of characters. “It’s filmed almost entirely using stop motion, which I love,” says Yves. “A lot of miniature work is now done with CGI. Stop motion possesses an authenticity, a human touch, that adds so much to a story. It allows you to create something whimsical that is grounded in something authentic.”
The spot, which will launch in the UK on March 18th, was produced at Hornet’s stage in Brooklyn. It represents an ongoing partnership between Hornet and the talented mixed-media director, whose technical and narrative technique has been recognized on both sides of the Atlantic.

Stony Hill is Marley’s first solo album since 2005. The tracks speak on everything from social responsibility to kicking back and enjoying yourself. He explained that he’s grown tremendously in the last 12 years. Beyond it having been over a decade, he’s now a father which gives him a new perspective on life.
When discussing his involvement on 4:44, he revealed that he had actually come to LA to shoot a video when Jay Z contacted him. When they met in the studio, Jay played the album for him, gave him the hook to “Bam”, and let him freestyle a few bars, which was later pieced together to become his verse on the track.

“It’s about making something better,” says director Yves Geleyn. “McDonald’s wanted to communicate how they’re always working to make a Happy Meal better, which can be told quite functionally, but we wanted to tell the story with some charm.”
The 60-second spot – created alongside Leo Burnett London – follows a group of miniature men and women on a journey through the idyllic British countryside as they improve the Happy Meal’s contents. “We played with scale and proportion,” says Yves. “I liked the idea of these little characters working to make the box, which remains true to size, better.”
It took Yves and his team of fifty people 12 weeks to bring the spot to life, building six sets, as well as 3D-printing and hand-painting hundreds of characters. “It’s filmed almost entirely using stop motion, which I love,” says Yves. “A lot of miniature work is now done with CGI. Stop motion possesses an authenticity, a human touch, that adds so much to a story. It allows you to create something whimsical that is grounded in something authentic.”
The spot, which will launch in the UK on March 18th, was produced at Hornet’s stage in Brooklyn. It represents an ongoing partnership between Hornet and the talented mixed-media director, whose technical and narrative technique has been recognized on both sides of the Atlantic.

This is a long video guys, I worked at Mac cosmetics in 3 different locations for 6 years of my life, and i tell you how to get a job at mac, why I hated it and small story times whilst I was there. Name a positive and constructive criticism you have had in your store and how have you used the feedback

Name 2 pro products and what ingredients are in them to make them work so well.
Answer: Chroma cakes is a water activated powder based paint that contains glycerin that makes the paint glide on smoothly when applied to the skin .
Set powders contain silica which helps absorb oil and optically diffuses fine line and wrinkles.
What ingredient in the pro long wear eye shadow makes it long wearing?
Answer: an ingredient called dimethecone is added to prolong wear eyeshadow which helps the eyeshadow adhere to the skin yet glide on smoothly
Name 2 theatres shows that mac supports
Answer: the English national ballet, hairspray musical, lion king and grease
Name 2 fashion shows that mac supports
Answer: Vivienne Westwood, meadham Kirchhoff, Alexander McQueen
Name a time when you have given excellent customer service
Name a time you have had to deal with an angry costumer
Keep calm, bring them over to one side, listen to what they have to say without interrupting and then see how we can resolve the issue instore or through consumer services.
Name 3 pro products and how you use them
The paintstick is good for blending colours together as they are really creamy and you can use them straight from the stick without mixing, good for parts of the body that moves a lot like elbows, knees and hands
Water based mixing mediums are good for activating the chroma cakes instead of water as it is longer wearing
Chroma graphic pencils are really creamy and good for face and body with the texture of kohl pencils

Individuality, social responsibility, community, trendsetting, makeup authority
