Alpha is insecure about a lot of things. Growing up he was insecure about money, clothes... everything. As he has gotten older, these insecurities have gotten better, but YouTube has created others. YouTube comments pick people apart and point out things that can cause insecurities. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro talks about insecurity and inadequacy relative to social media and today's world.
In general, Alpha is a super confident person. He is confident, but he is still insecure about somethings. These little voices in the back of your head can say you're not this or that. It sucks. Every person has struggled with insecurities from time to time. However, these insecurities are only visible to the person who has them.
Social media can make people feel bad about themselves, making them think they're missing out. Alpha ends up feeling like he's failing or that others have things figured out that he doesn't when scrolling through social media.
How to Feel Less Insecure
Social media is not reality
Don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself
Surround yourself with positive people that make you feel better about you
Change what you are insecure about
Build your self up - working out builds and boosts your self esteem as well as helping others. Volunteering gives an incredible sense of fulfillment.
YouTube is amazing and beautiful where Alpha has found a home and voice. He wouldn't trade or change it; however, there is a degree of negativity from the comments. It's like life-- you'll always have the haters that want to tear you down. These haters are pathetic and small people! Alpha has thick skin, but negative & hateful comments still sting.
Realize that you aren't alone with insecurity and inadequacy. Alpha is no exception. He gets overwhelmed. He is now focusing on himself, being selfish, and not comparing himself to others. Remember, it's about you and what you bring to the world.

These 10 tips will help you handle your insecurity and allow you to focus on the amazing and beautiful person you have fallen in love with. Don't let your insecurities sabotage a good thing.
Insecurities. We all have them whether physical, finances, material, or other. Regardless, nothing can kill a potentially great situation than relationship insecurity. We all have insecurities but managing them is a key component for a happy, healthy, and successful relationship. Aaron Marino of alpha m. presents ten tips to overcome relationship insecurity.
1. Don't judge your current relationship based on past relationship - don't make the current pay for the deeds of the past.
2. Don't confusion imagination with reality - don't read into everything. The best way to squash this is to encourage open and honest conversations from the beginning, when things are 'good'.
Don't let your mind play tricks on you!
3. Stop trying to mind read
4. Once you ask, don't keep asking! - once you're there, the relationship is over from the persistent pestering.
5. Your relationship needs room to breathe - if you are constantly standing over top of the relationship, you'll smother it. You need to have your own things going on including outside interests and friends. You are individuals that came together.
6. Relationships aren't always roses and puppies - the new relationship is like walking on air. It doesn't last, however. You can't maintain that level of emotional intensity. You'll have ebbs and flows. Don't bail on the 1st sign of trouble! Keep nurturing and working, and it'll work itself out if it's supposed to.
7. Do not snoop! - if you reach that point, you'll never stop because you'll never trust them! You can misread something and turn it into a situation.
8. Go with your gut (instincts)
9. You are responsible for your happiness and only your happiness.
10. Relationships are supposed to feel good where you feel better when you're with this person.

Caleb is a senior Mathematics and Biochemistry major at TU. This fall, Caleb will pursue his PhD in Biostatistics at Harvard University, where he hopes to uncover the genetic basis of complex disorders. In his free time, Caleb enjoys competing in endurance races, including an ultramarathon and an Ironman triathlon.

How feelings and self-perceptions of neediness, insecurity and scarcity mindsets negatively influence us to negotiate poorly on our behalf, tolerate behavior we should reject and generally cause us to settle for lives and relationships that are less than what we really want and deserve.
In this video coaching newsletter, I discuss an email from a female viewer who shares how my work is helping her to change her life for the better. She goes into explicit detail of a recent experience she had dating a guy who displayed all kinds of red flags that should have led to her deleting him from her life permanently, but she did just the opposite. She really does a good job of self-reflection, trouble-shooting and introspection to find the root causes of her limiting beliefs and self-perceptions that led to her dating a man she should have rejected quickly. She also illustrates how this same pattern showed up in her previous relationships and her interactions with men she dated in the past. It’s a great email that details the process both men and women go through to understand themselves, other people, why people do what they do in relationships and how to take their personal power back so they can become the person they were meant to be.
“Fear that we’re not good enough or that we won’t be loved & accepted are the biggest self-created mental obstacles and barriers that prevent most of us from reaching our full potential, and achieving our grandest goals and dreams. In general, Alpha is a super confident person. He is confident, but he is still insecure about somethings. These little voices in the back of your head can say you're not this or that. It sucks. Every person has struggled with insecurities from time to time. However, these insecurities are only visible to the person who has them.
Social media can make people feel bad about themselves, making them think they're missing out. Alpha ends up feeling like he's failing or that others have things figured out that he doesn't when scrolling through social media.
How to Feel Less Insecure
Social media is not reality
Don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself
Surround yourself with positive people that make you feel better about you
Change what you are insecure about
Build your self up - working out builds and boosts your self esteem as well as helping others. Volunteering gives an incredible sense of fulfillment.
YouTube is amazing and beautiful where Alpha has found a home and voice. He wouldn't trade or change it; however, there is a degree of negativity from the comments. It's like life-- you'll always have the haters that want to tear you down. These haters are pathetic and small people! Alpha has thick skin, but negative & hateful comments still sting.
Realize that you aren't alone with insecurity and inadequacy. Alpha is no exception. He gets overwhelmed. He is now focusing on himself, being selfish, and not comparing himself to others. Remember, it's about you and what you bring to the world.

2. Don't confusion imagination with reality - don't read into everything. The best way to squash this is to encourage open and honest conversations from the beginning, when things are 'good'.

4. Once you ask, don't keep asking! - once you're there, the relationship is over from the persistent pestering.
5. Your relationship needs room to breathe - if you are constantly standing over top of the relationship, you'll smother it. You need to have your own things going on including outside interests and friends. You are individuals that came together.
6. Relationships aren't always roses and puppies - the new relationship is like walking on air. It doesn't last, however. You can't maintain that level of emotional intensity. You'll have ebbs and flows. Don't bail on the 1st sign of trouble! Keep nurturing and working, and it'll work itself out if it's supposed to.
7. Do not snoop! - if you reach that point, you'll never stop because you'll never trust them! You can misread something and turn it into a situation.
8. Go with your gut (instincts)
9. You are responsible for your happiness and only your happiness.
10. Relationships are supposed to feel good where you feel better when you're with this person.

How feelings and self-perceptions of neediness, insecurity and scarcity mindsets negatively influence us to negotiate poorly on our behalf, tolerate behavior we should reject and generally cause us to settle for lives and relationships that are less than what we really want and deserve.
In this video coaching newsletter, I discuss an email from a female viewer who shares how my work is helping her to change her life for the better. She goes into explicit detail of a recent experience she had dating a guy who displayed all kinds of red flags that should have led to her deleting him from her life permanently, but she did just the opposite. She really does a good job of self-reflection, trouble-shooting and introspection to find the root causes of her limiting beliefs and self-perceptions that led to her dating a man she should have rejected quickly. She also illustrates how this same pattern showed up in her previous relationships and her interactions with men she dated in the past. It’s a great email that details the process both men and women go through to understand themselves, other people, why people do what they do in relationships and how to take their personal power back so they can become the person they were meant to be.
“Fear that we’re not good enough or that we won’t be loved & accepted are the biggest self-created mental obstacles and barriers that prevent most of us from reaching our full potential, and achieving our grandest goals and dreams. Fear causes us to try and force things that are not matching our expectations or to completely avoid taking any action that will move our lives towards what we want. When you think, feel & know that you are worthy and deserving of greatness, you will act consistently in ways that make that greatness a possibility. When you think, feel & believe that you are unworthy and not deserving of greatness, you will act consistently in ways that consciously and unconsciously sabotage your success, and take you further away from what you want. If you presently have a negative self-perception or limiting belief about yourself, the only way to overcome them is to take action towards what you want in spite of your fears on a permanent consistent daily basis. You must know what you want, why you want it, take action to make it happen, learn from your mistakes and continually refine & improve your approach over time. Successful people persevere no matter what obstacles, setbacks and challenges they encounter. Unsuccessful people give up & permanently quit as soon as things get difficult.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne
