Universal Music Poland is releasing Zbigniew Preisner’s
new album at the end of January 2017 in two editions:
2CD and 2CD+DVD.
FERNANDO TRUEBA'S FILM LA REINA DE ESPANA.
Zbigniew Preisner's latest film score is for Fernando Trueba's film La Reina de Espana (The Queen of Spain) starring Penelope Cruz and a cast of distinguished Spanish and American actors.
The film is released in Spain on 25th November.
Preisner's score is also now released as an original soundtrack CD by Quartet Records and as a digital album by Atresmusica.
The score is performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Adam Klocek, with soloists Dominik Wania (piano) and Zbigniew Paleta (violin).

The film is a comedy drama in which Cruz plays the famous 1950s movie star Macarena Granada, escaping from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and returning to Madrid, where she will star in an epic film about Queen Isabella of Castille. It’s also a sequel to Trueba’s 1998 drama The Girl Of Your Dreams, also starring Cruz and set during the Spanish Civil War. This is the third time that the director and Cruz have worked together. Their first project together was the 1992 film Belle Époque which received the Academy Award for best foreign-language film.

Because Music has re-released Zbigniew Preisner's soundtrack albums for the scores he wrote for Krzysztof Kieslowski's major films: Three Colours Blue, White & Red, La Double Vie de Veronique and Dekalog.
The Three Colours trilogy is available for the first time on vinyl in three separate editions and also as a 3-CD box set and digital. La Double Vie de Veronique and Dekalog are both released for the first time in vinyl editions as well as CD and digital.

W POSZUKIWANIU DROG. NOWE I STARE KOLEDY.
Here is the video of Usnij, chociaz lek zagłusza. It’s the first carol from the new album W poszukiwaniu drog. Nowe i stare koledy. Lyrics are by Ewa Lipska and the singer is Edyta Krzemien.
The instrumentalists on the album are Dominik Wania (piano), Jacek Krolik (guitars), Andy Pask (bass guitar), Slawek Berny (percussion), Jakub Mietla (accordion), Zbigniew Preisner (Hammond, virus) with a string quartet comprising Michal Poltorak (first violin), Monika Chrzanowska (second violin), Janusz Chrzanowski (viola), Magdalena Pluta (cello).
The album was recorded and mixed by Leszek Kaminski at Preisner Studio, Niepołomice. The Video was produced by Preisner Productions and Bartek Kaleta GROSART.
