distinguish|broadcast programming}}
A television program is a segment of content intended for broadcast on vision, other than a commercial, trailer, or any other segment of content not serving as attraction for viewership. It may be a single production, or more commonly, a series of related productions (also called a television series).
A television series that is intended to comprise a limited number of episodes may be called a miniseries or serial. Series without a fixed length are usually divided into seasons or series, yearly or semiannual sets of new episodes. While there is no defined length, US industry practice tends to favor longer seasons than those of some other countries.
A one-time broadcast may be called a "special," or particularly in the UK a "special episode." A television film ("made-for-TV movie" or "television movie"), is a film that is initially broadcast on television rather than released in theaters or direct-to-video.
A program can be either recorded, as on video tape, other various electronic media forms, played with an on-demand player or viewed on live television.

Entertainment Tonight, (stylized as ET), is an American first-run syndicated entertainment television newsmagazine that is distributed by CBS Television Distribution throughout the United States, and is broadcast on the Global Television Network in Canada, and on networks in many countries around the world. As of 2015, the program's weekday broadcasts are currently anchored by Nancy O'Dell and Kevin Frazier, while the weekend editions are anchored by Cameron Mathison and alternatingly co-anchored by Samantha Harris or Nischelle Turner.
It is the longest-running entertainment news program on television, having made its premiere telecast on September 14, 1981; it was also the first syndicated program to be distributed via satellite. Until the start of the 2013–14 television season, the program made the claim in on-air introductions at the start of the program and in some promotions that it is "the most watched entertainment news magazine in the world" (though by which measures this claim was verified was never revealed).

This is the Title Sequence for E4's Chris Addison hosted comedy show "Show & Tell" that we shot over a year ago. We're finally able to show them on Vimeo now that the program is on air. The concept for the Titles is essentially very very simple. We wanted to distil the overall idea of the program down into simple yet intentionally heavily art directed series of vignettes. The result of which is that on one side of the screen the viewer can see the act of "showing" and on the the other side of the screen they see the act of "telling". Because the idea was simple it allowed us to be really playful with the content of the vignettes, bending the rules a little with the semantics of "Show & Tell", and putting a few jokes in there that the viewer may not necessarily pick up on from their fi...
Back in spring we were asked by MTV Italy to develop a visual concept that could adopt to a full on/off air campaign as well as traslate into digital content for the MTV Awards which took place in June 2016. The concept is based on the theory of "perpetual motion" and it involves bodies of different shapes smoothly and incessantly in action. www.ditroit.it CREDITS Direction: Ditroit Art Direction: Salvatore Giunta Design: Salvatore Giunta, Cristian Acquaro Lighting, Shading and Animation: Cristian Acquaro Simulation: Giovanni Mauro, Mauro Moretti Music and Sound Design: Smider Client: MTV Italia Creative Direction: Maria Cristina Cipriani Art Direction: Luca Dusio

This was a student project that called for a complete rebrand of the WGTE identity. The final outcome was a style guide explaining the rules of the new identity along with this demo reel to show how the rules would be applied in WGTE's television programming. The new brand concept: WGTE’s primary focus is education. Using television, radio, and web, they seek to educate and enlighten people across all ages and demographics. The design of this rebrand focuses on the concept of dissection as being an integral part of any learning experience. Breaking down a problem into smaller parts is one of the most basic, and essential steps in any analysis. One form of illustrating such a dissection is using a timeline. A timeline can be used to break down any problem or event into all the parts or ev...
Old Jeb just wants to sit down at home and watch some gosh-darned TV. Can it really be that hard? Well, if your idea of DIY repairs involves administering vicious blunt force trauma with whatever object you can find, then yes. Yes it can. Jebediah's Television is the culmination of a senior year's worth of work at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation this Spring and focused mainly on 3D character animation.
