Fula people
The Fula people or Fulani or Fulɓe (Fula: Fulɓe; French: Peul; Hausa: Fulani; Portuguese: Fula; Wolof: Pël; Bambara: Fulaw) numbering approximately 20 million people in total are one of the most widely dispersed and culturally diverse of the peoples of Africa. The Fulani are bound together by the common language of Fulfulde, as well as by some basic elements of Fulbe culture, such as the pulaaku, a code of conduct common to all Fulani groups.
A significant proportion of their number, (an estimated 13 million), are nomadic, making them the largest pastoral nomadic group in the world. Spread over many countries, they are found mainly in West Africa and northern parts of Central Africa, but also in Sudan and Egypt.
Names
There are many names (and spellings of the names) used in other languages to refer to the Fulɓe. Fulani in English is borrowed from the Hausa term.Fula, from Manding languages, is also used in English, and sometimes spelled Fulah or Fullah. Fula and Fulani are commonly used in English, including within Africa. The French borrowed the Wolof term Pël, which is variously spelled: Peul, Peulh, and even Peuhl. More recently the Fulfulde / Pulaar term Fulɓe, which is a plural noun (singular, Pullo) has been Anglicised as Fulbe, which some people use. In Portuguese, the terms Fula or Futafula are used. The terms Fallata Fallatah or Fellata are of Kanuri origins, and is often the name by which Fulani people are identified by in Sudan.

Nollywood
Nollywood is a sobriquet that originally referred to the Nigerian film industry. The origin of the term dates back to early 2000s, traced to an article in The New York Times.
Etymology
The origin of the term "Nollywood" remains unclear; Jonathan Haynes traced the earliest usage of the word to a 2002 article by Matt Steinglass in The New York Times, where it was used to describe Nigerian cinema. The term continue to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later believed to be a portmanteau of the words "Nigeria" and "Hollywood", the American major film hub.
Definition of which films are considered Nollywood has always been a subject of debate. Alex Eyengho defined Nollywood as "the totality of activities taking place in the Nigerian film industry, be it in English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Itsekiri, Edo, Efik, Ijaw, Urhobo or any other of the over 300 Nigerian languages". He further stated that "the historical trajectory of Nollywood started since the pre and post independent Nigeria, with the theatrical (stage) and cinematic (celluloid)) efforts of the likes of Chief Hubert Ogunde, Chief Amata, Baba Sala, Ade Love, Eddie Ugboma and a few others".

Inside Out became the tenth animated film to gross more than $800 million, and is currently the tenth highest grossing animated film. Furious 7, Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens also became the 3rd, 4th and 5th films to gross more than $1 billion outside of North America, joining Titanic (1997) and Avatar (2009).

The Fulani people live at the south edge of the Sahara.This video shows them at home, tending their herds, making butter from the milk of their cows, weaving mats they use to cover their homes. There is Fulani music from the town of Dori, and scenes of the Guerewal dance of the Wodaabe of Niger.
+Phineas The majority of Fulani are haplogroup E-M2 (E1b1a1) not R1b1. Haplogroup E-M2 is indigenous to Africa not the Middle East. In (Tishkoff et al. 2009), the Fulani cluster with west and central African ethnic groups. Sarah Tiskfoff's study does not support a Middle Eastern or non African origin
of the Fulani. The remainder belonged to haplotype 42/haplogroup E-M33. Both of these clades are today most frequent among Niger-Congo-speaking populations,
particularly those inhabiting Senegal. To get an idea of what Guinea looks like, and what our tours incorporate, watch this video!
If you love culture, music. dance, nature, and would love to travel and to visit Africa, this tour/camp is for you!
Travelling with Kunda allows you a chance to visit this beautiful country, and live with the locals, experiencing the culture from an inside view - rather than from the distant perspective of a typical "tourist" - completely immersing yourself in a different culture, while learning African drum &/or dance with master teachers!
We will make you feel right at home, and you will have the experience of a lifetime!
Courses run for 1, 2, 3, & 4 weeks in December 2012.
Our intensive course includes daily classes in drum &/or dance (Monday-Friday), your accomodations, all drinking water and meals daily, all in-country transportation, plus excursions!
All participants will also have the opportunity to attend tradtional ceremonies, as well as doundounbas & sabars (drum and dance street parties), music concerts, and local ballet (traditional music and dance troupes) performances &/or rehearsals.
