Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is a freemium mobile MMO strategy video game developed and published by Supercell.

The game was released for iOS platforms on 2 August, 2012, and on Google Play for Android on 7 October, 2013.

Gameplay

Clash of Clans is an online multiplayer game in which players build a community, train troops, and attack other players to earn gold and elixir, and Dark Elixir, which can be used to build defenses that protect the player from other players' attacks, and to train and upgrade troops. The game also features a pseudo-single player campaign in which the player must attack a series of fortified goblin villages.

Buildings

To earn and store gold and elixir, players must build gold mines and gold storages and elixir collectors and elixir storages, respectively. Elixir is used to train new troops, carry out research in the laboratory to upgrade troops, to re-load X-Bows (available from Town Hall 9) and to build and upgrade certain buildings, mostly pertaining to buildings used in attacking another player's base. Gold is used to build defensive buildings and to upgrade the town hall, which allows access to more buildings and higher levels for existing buildings. At higher levels, dark elixir becomes available; this type of elixir is used to train and upgrade dark elixir troops and heroes, create dark spells, and fuel the Inferno Tower, a defensive building that is available only at Town Hall 10. To earn and store dark elixir, players must build dark elixir drills and dark elixir storages.

Miner

A miner is a person who extracts ore, coal, or other minerals from the earth through mining. There are two senses in which the term is used. In its narrowest sense, a miner is someone who works at the rock face; cutting, blasting, or otherwise working and removing the rock. In a broader sense, a "miner" is anyone working within a mine, not just a worker at the rock face. This article will consider this broader concept.

Clan

A clan is a group of people united by actual or perceived kinship and descent. Even if lineage details are unknown, clan members may be organized around a founding member or apical ancestor. The kinship-based bonds may be symbolical, whereby the clan shares a "stipulated" common ancestor that is a symbol of the clan's unity. When this "ancestor" is non-human, it is referred to as a totem, which is frequently an animal. The word clan is derived from clann meaning children or progeny but not family in the Irish language and Scottish Gaelic languages. Clash Royale is a 2016 freemium mobile strategy video game developed and published by Supercell, a video game company based in Helsinki, Finland. The game was soft-launched in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and New Zealand for iOS platforms on January 4, 2016. More countries will be added in the near future as Supercell receives feedback about the game. The date for the game's release globally and on the Android platform is March 2016.

Gameplay

Clash Royale is a real-time strategy game where players collect and upgrade different cards that are based on characters from the Clash of Clans universe. Each card is unique, and you can only have 8 in a non deck at a time. They are used with the goal of destroying your opponent's towers. Victories lead to more cards, trophies and glory. Players can unlock new arenas, challenge other players online, and form clans to share cards and participate in private duels.

Chests

There are three main types of chests in Clash Royale. You get a free chest every four hours, but you can only store two of these at a time. They must be collected to activate the countdown timer for your next free chest. Crown chests are available every 24 hours. Crown chests offer free loot, cards and sometimes gems. To unlock them, you must earn 10 crowns in multiplayer battles. The final type of chests, treasure chests, come in three varieties: the silver chest, gold chest, and magical chest. These chests will be given to you whenever you win a battle (given that you have free chest slots available) and they can also be purchased using gems.
