Monsoon (UK: /mɒnˈsuːn/; US: /mɑːnˈsuːn/) is traditionally defined as a seasonal reversing wind accompanied by corresponding changes in precipitation, but is now used to describe seasonal changes in atmospheric circulation and precipitation associated with the asymmetric heating of land and sea. Usually, the term monsoon is used to refer to the rainy phase of a seasonally changing pattern, although technically there is also a dry phase.
The major monsoon systems of the world consist of the West African and Asia-Australian monsoons. The inclusion of the North and South American monsoons with incomplete wind reversal has been debated.
The term was first used in English in British India (now India, Bangladesh and Pakistan) and neighbouring countries to refer to the big seasonal winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea in the southwest bringing heavy rainfall to the area. The south-west monsoon winds are called 'Nairutya Maarut' in India. Extremely wet or dry events within the monsoon period have increased since 1980.
Kerry Muzzey (born 1970) is a contemporary classical and film and television composer born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. In 2007, he was commissioned by director Bill Purple and Iron Ocean Films' executive producers Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple to create the score for Iron Ocean Films' first film, Hole in the Paper Sky. In this same year he also lent several instrumental compositions to the Robert Redford- and Terrence Malick-produced Sundance Film Festival documentary "The Unforeseen." Muzzey also scored the film Amexicano which had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and was received with much critical acclaim.
In 2009, Kerry Muzzey was approached by the music supervisor of the soon-to-be-launched 20th Century Fox television show Glee about using Muzzey's composition "Looking Back" as a love theme in the first two episodes of the series. The music was well-received and has continued to be used in multiple episodes of the series. In 2011 Muzzey was commissioned to score the Wendie Malick film What Happens Next and also the film Holiday Engagement by Jim Fall, director of The Lizzie McGuire Movie and Trick.
"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.
The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.
At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.
"Thank you" is a common expression of gratitude. It often refers to a thank you letter, a letter written to express appreciation.
Thank You or Thank U may also refer to:

I'm staring at a broken door There's nothing left here anymore My room is cold It's making me insane I've been waiting here so long But now the moment seems to've come, I see the dark clouds coming up again. Running through the monsoon Beyond the world, To the end of time, Where the rain won't hurt Fighting the storm, Into the blue, And when I loose myself I think of you, Together we'll be running somewhere new Through the monsoon. Just me and you A half moon's fading from my sight I see a vision in its light But now it's gone and left me so alone I know I have to find you now Can hear your name, I don't know how Why can't we make this darkness feel like home? An intense hail core dump. Shelf clouds. Dust storms. Lightning. The Milky Way. That's what I'm capturing out here in Arizona between June 15th and September 30th every year, which is our official monsoon window. And this is the result of all that time spent. My favorite part of capturing all this is when I sit down to create this final film. While some scenes are worthy of standing on their own, a lot of them need...

Not a lot of storms overall and it seemed generally more quiet. And in many ways it actually was a slower season. All told I chased about 36 days for this film, which was less than the 48 in 2015. I went full-time photography in November of 2014 and haven't looked back. I was free to roam and had virtually no limitations. Well this is my baby. All the hard work timelapsing last summer is now in one single place. A short film, 19 minutes long, that is the payoff for all the hours, miles driven and time away from family in 2012. The video took me quite awhile to produce. Most of the timelapses were completed in one way or other last fall, but with the busy wedding and family portrait season upon me, I had to put it on the back burner for awhile. But slowly this year I've pieced it together, organized it, cleaned it up, found music and finely tuned my simple presentation. And now it's here. I'm damn proud of it. No, I don't use a dolly. Yet. I'm not sure it's important to have one but all the most amazing timelapses usually have some kind of motion in them. But timelapsing while you storm chase is quite a di...

Each monsoon season here in Arizona (mid June to end of Sept.) I spend many of my off-hours chasing storms and wild weather. Three months, 4500 miles and almost 50,000 frames captured between 2 cameras. Several stops by police (for trespassing), border patrol (wondering why I was skulking near the Mexican border in the dark at 1am) and the DEA (thinking I was involved in a drug deal that went awry). It was a fun season! This year I was much more purposeful while chasing and shooting, considering what I was capturing. Trying to be more creative both out in the field and later in post-processing on the computer. I was also a lot more careful in post-processing while cleaning up the myriad bugs and birds that LOVE to flit about in front of the camera (don't even get me started on that i...

I love color. Storms are full of color. The blues, the greens, the warm oranges and reds at sunset. The colors are sometimes what make a simple storm into something extra special. But black and white speaks to my soul. I love it. There is something when you remove the color that lets you truly see the textures, movement and emotion of a storm. And then you hear a song. I had asked my buddy Jay Worsley (https://vimeo.com/jayworsley) ...
Monsoon in India arrives in July and brings with itself a freshness and hopes for a good agricultural year. Earlier this year I released my first ever short film that collected a bunch of timelapses I photographed during the 2012 monsoon season in Arizona. I was incredibly proud of that film and I was amazed at how well-received it was by all of you! It's been played 45k times and the feedback was so wonderful...it of course spurred me on to do another one! This latest film is from the recently completed 2013 monsoon season. Out here in Arizona the season runs from June 15th through September 30th. But in reality these timelapses were photographed between July 1st and September 18th. It was quite a summer. I drove well over 8,000 miles all across Arizona. I didn't get to venture up north as much as I wanted, but I was all over southeast Arizona. In fact, I saw two fairly incredible storms dow...

There’s a wild dog in my bed
Fiery eyes red tongue and bad breath
I’m gonna twist I’m gonna twist off its head
Till the black bile comes out of it
That big dog wagging its tail
Bearing its teeth and barking at me
I do the best I do the best the best I can
Got to get get get rid of it
So let’s ride ride
Really want to…have to find a way to get away
Ride
Projected picture on a screen
It can’t be me it must be a bad dream
I’ve to cut,I’ve got to cut…Cut that scene
Press rewind-restore and redeem
There’s bad blood under my skin
A river carrying poison and sin
A little voice…A little voice whispering
You’ve got to get get get rid of it
So let’s ride,ride
Really want to…Have to find a way to get away
Ride,ride
