Colleges and universities are no exception. They lure you in with talks of great knowledge and beautiful facilities, but what they don’t tell you are those things you should worry about. There are many great things that come with UNCC, but with that you will have some things to avoid. Charlotte is known to many people as the melting pot of the south and UNCC is guilty by association. A great portion of students commute to campus and this makes for heavy traffic when classes are over, especially around 5 o’clock.

This video was really fun to make over the course of 2 weeks and an endless night of editing.
People think that filming is fun and it really is! A lot of times what people don’t realize is the amount of time that’s put in after all the filming is complete.
This video was shot in various location on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The only sport I had to go out and shoot on a different location was cross country , and their part turned out really great!
I got to meet so many of the athletes while working on this video. Everyone had a great time singing along and dancing around looking goofy. It brings a smile to me seeing these athletes a little out of character or just off the playing watching them have fun.
A huge THANK YOU to Marketing for allowing me the opportunity to make such a video. An even bigger THANK YOU to all the student athletes that took part in making this video!
Last but not least I want to thank Blake Bodenhamer for helping make the intro and ending to this video!

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, also known as UNC Charlotte, UNCC, or Charlotte, is a public research university located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. UNC Charlotte offers 21 doctoral, 64 master's, and 90 bachelor's degree programs through nine colleges: the College of Arts + Architecture, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the Belk College of Business, the College of Computing and Informatics, the College of Education, the William States Lee College of Engineering, the College of Health and Human Services, the Honors College, and the University College.

Charlotte, North Carolina
Charlotte /ˈʃɑːrlət/ is the largest city in the state of North Carolina, in the United States. It is the county seat of Mecklenburg County and the second largest city in the Southeastern United States, just behind Jacksonville, Florida. North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (also known as North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina A&T, N.C. A&T, or simply A&T) is a public, coeducational, historically black, research university located in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. Colleges and universities are no exception. They lure you in with talks of great knowledge and beautiful facilities, but what they don’t tell you are those things you should worry about. There are many great things that come with UNCC, but with that you will have some things to avoid. Charlotte is known to many people as the melting pot of the south and UNCC is guilty by association. A great portion of students commute to campus and this makes for heavy traffic when classes are over, especially around 5 o’clock.

This video was really fun to make over the course of 2 weeks and an endless night of editing. People think that filming is fun and it really is! A lot of times what people don’t realize is the amount of time that’s put in after all the filming is complete. This video was shot in various location on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The only sport I had to go out and shoot on a different location was cross country , and their part turned out really great! I got to meet so many of the athletes while working on this video. Everyone had a great time singing along and dancing around looking goofy. It brings a smile to me seeing these athletes a little out of character or just off the playing watching them have fun. This video was really fun to make over the course of 2 weeks and an endless night of editing.
People think that filming is fun and it really is! A lot of times what people don’t realize is the amount of time that’s put in after all the filming is complete.
This video was shot in various location on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The only sport I had to go out and shoot on a different location was cross country , and their part turned out really great!
I got to meet so many of the athletes while working on this video. Everyone had a great time singing along and dancing around looking goofy. It brings a smile to me seeing these athletes a little out of character or just off the playing watching them have fun.
A huge THANK YOU to Marketing for allowing me the opportunity to make such a video. An even bigger THANK YOU to all the student athletes that took part in making this video!

That in mind, I’m going to give you a list of five things to look for on your next visit. During your campus tour, it would be a good idea to figure out the building where you will stay and how far it is from classes. You can tour the entire campus. There are some dorms that are closer to the classrooms on campus and some are a fifteen-minute walk away.

The University recognized its 100,000th alumnus in May. Fabian Elliott, a marketing major from Fayetteville, NC was honored during commencement. We'll meet Fabian and find out his big plans for the future.
UNC Charlotte's Model United Nations provides students the opportunity to research and debate global issues. Students gain valuable skills and a global perspective that will carry over into their careers.
In April, UNC Charlotte brought the landmark program Violins of Hope to Charlotte. Meg Whalen takes a look back at the events, and the impact on the community, and the University.
Plus, we have a video from our Communications Studies students that includes a profile of freshman Daniel Hamilton. He's from South Africa, a business major, and has a passion for being a DJ.

For five decades, the artist and activist, poet and performer TJ Reddy has challenged, educated, and inspired the Charlotte community and beyond, through the power and beauty of his paintings and words. The Projective Eye Gallery is proud to present a retrospective of Reddy’s life of creativity in Everything is Everything June 30 – August 20, with an opening reception on July 20.
TJ Reddy is an alumnus of UNC Charlotte, receiving undergraduate degrees in history and sociology and a masters degree in education. While at UNC Charlotte, he helped to form the Black Student Union and the Africana Studies Department. His papers are housed in the J. Murrey Atkins Library Special Collections.

Leveraging our growing academic and industrial ties with China, we propose to collaborate with our partner Shanxi University located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province to expand our Chinese connections to a wider range of teaching, research, and community activities both on campus and in the larger Charlotte metropolitan area.
Such activities would focus on language teaching and cultural exchange. In addition, the Confucius Institute, as a joint venture between UNC Charlotte and Shanxi University, would also support the exchange of ideas, the promotion of scholarship, and cooperation in research between the two institutions.
We take great pride in the cultural diversity and economic vitality of the city of Charlotte and also believe our students, faculty and community could be better served by this collaboration between the two institutions via Chinese language teaching, cross-cultural learning and other academic exchanges.
