NSW Police want a man extradited after an officer was injured and a police car rammed at the start of a chase that crossed into the ACT from Jerrabomberra on Friday.
A 19-year-old Pearce man, a 25-year-old Braddon man and a 27-year-old Wanniassa man are expected to face court on Friday afternoon after allegedly trying to flee police in a stolen car.
Police say at 1.45am they were at a home on Bicentennial Drive, Jerrabomberra investigating a motor vehicle theft when a man allegedly drove a Mercedez Benz out of a garage and rammed a Toyota parked in the driveway.
Officers called on the driver to stop and he allegedly accelerated harshly and hit an officer's leg.
The driver then rammed a police car and drove away, it is alleged.
Police said they pursued the car through several streets before entering the ACT, where the vehicle stopped due to damage.
Three men allegedly fled the vehicle but were caught and arrested near Coyne Street in Macarthur before police took them to Civic.
Officers with the Monaro Local Area Command continue to investigate the incident and will apply for the extradition of the 19-year-old driver.
The senior constable who was hit by a car suffered minor lacerations and bruising.
The 19-year-old will be charged with an interstate arrest, while the 25-year-old will face court charged with ride/drive motor vehicle without consent, and the 27-year-old will be charged with failing to comply with a direction, first instant warrant, ride/drive motor vehicle without consent and obstruct/resist territory public official.
