Linda (Russian: Линда) is a stage name for Svetlana Lvovna Geiman (Russian: Светлана Львовна Гейман; born 29 April 1977, Kentau, Kazakh SSR, USSR), a Russian singer. Her style incorporates trip hop, electronic and ethnic music. Since January 2012, she has been married to Greek composer Stefanos Korkolis.

Miller is a residential neighbourhood located in northeast Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by 153 Avenue to the north, 50 Street to the west, and Manning Drive to the southeast.

Demographics

In the City of Edmonton's 2012 municipal census, Miller had a population of 7003312200000000000♠3,122 living in 7003114800000000000♠1,148 dwellings, a 9.9% change from its 2009 population of 7003284100000000000♠2,841. With a land area of 0.83 km² (0.32 sq mi), it had a population density of 7003376140000000000♠3,761.4 people/km² in 2012.

Residential development

According to the 2001 federal census, substantially all residential development in Miller occurred after 1996.

Almost two out of every three residences (64%) are single-family dwellings according to the 2005 municipal census. One in five (19%) are duplexes. One in seven (14%) are rented apartments in low-rise buildings with fewer than five stories. The remaining four percent are row houses. Seventeen out of every twenty residences (86%) are owner-occupied.

1998 Miller 200

The 1998 Miller 200 was the seventh round of the 1998 CART FedEx Champ Car World Series season, held on May 31, 1998 on the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wisconsin. The race was a fuel economy run where fuel conservation was a serious factor, and Jimmy Vasser dominated it and won by over seven seconds, the win being his second of the season.

1826 Miller

1826 Miller, provisional designation 1955 RC₁, is a stony asteroid from the outer region of the asteroid belt, about 24 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on September 14, 1955 by the Indiana Asteroid Program at Goethe Link Observatory near Brooklyn in the U.S. state of Indiana. Prior to its official discovery date the asteroid had been observed since the late 1920s and received numerous provisional designations, such as 1929 RV, 1940 WF and 1950 TD₂.

The asteroid orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.7–3.2 AU once every 5 years and 2 months (1,893 days). It is a relatively slow rotator with a rotation period of 30 hours. Previously, measurement of its light-curve gave a much shorter period of 6.77 h. The S-type asteroid has an albedo of 0.129 with other observations and derived figures in the range of 0.11 to 0.20.

The asteroid was involved in the occultation of a 10th magnitude star in the constellation Cancer in April 2004.

It was named in honor of American entrepreneur John A. Miller (1872–1941), founder of the Astronomy Department at Indiana University and first director of the Kirkwood Observatory, which he built and named for his former teacher. He also built the Sproul Observatory at Swarthmore College in the U.S state of Pennsylvania (also see 1578 Kirkwood).
