Authorities released revealing body cam video and the cause of death Friday for an armed suspect in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday near the Las Vegas strip. The shootout and subsequent stand-off situation, left two Metro Police officers shot and one injured. The Clark County Coroner's office said 25-year-old Miguel Salas died from a fatal shot to the head. Salas was the suspect named in the officer-involved shooting incident that happened Tuesday evening. In the body cam video of the shooting, police asked Salas to step out of the truck and he refused. "Step out of the car," an officer is heard saying. "Why do you need me to step out of my car?" Salas said. "I'm not doing nothing!" "Yes, you are. You're not listening to our command. Do you want to get tased?" the officer said. In the video, an officer holds Salas' left wrist as he argued with the police. In a split second, Salas grabs a gun and starts firing at police. Officers run for cover and fire back at Salas. "Shots fired! I've been hit! Shots fired, I've been hit!" Metro Police Officer Richard Nelson is heard yelling. Police said units originally responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle, that was connected to a report of a stolen cell phone, parked in front of a business in the 4100 block of West Tompkins Avenue at 4:15 p.m.
According to Metro Police Sgt. Jeff Clark, as officers approached the vehicle, the suspect opened fire and struck two officers from inside the vehicle. Officer Richard Nelson, 33, was wearing a bullet proof vest when he was hit in the lower left chest area and subsequently transported to University Medical Center. Nelson has four children and his parents and fiance were at the hospital while he was treated. Sgt. Clark updated the situation and reported Officer Nelson "was okay" after the incident. The other officer, who has not been identified, was also hit, but his uniform belt kept him from suffering any wounds, police said. "It doesn't matter what area this happens in, everybody comes together and supports each other (in times like these)," Sheriff Joe Lombardo said. Officer Nelson has been employed with the department since April 2009. He has been placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of this incident. Metro Assistant Sheriff Tom Roberts briefed the media Friday afternoon, said he spoke to both officers involved in the shooting and both are "doing well."

The Kent County prosecutor says Grand Rapids officers were justified in fatal shooting of 18-year-old man during a gun battle earlier this month. Prosecutor Chris Becker released his decision Tuesday, along with dash camera and body camera video showing the May 3 shooting of Malik Carey. The footage from dashcams and bodycams shows officers approach Carey as he was seated in the back seat of a car on Dickinson Street near Kalamazoo Avenue SE. They were looking for him in coordination with Grand Rapids Public Schools because he hadn’t been showing up for class. Prosecutors say Carey gave a fake name, so officers waited to get a picture of him to confirm he was the person they were looking for. In the meantime, Carey and one of the officers chatted nonchalantly about Carey’s dreadlocks.
But once officers confirmed Carey’s identity, things turned violent. Prosecutors highlighted portions of the video that show Carey pulling a gun from his waistband. The officers scrambled back, one of them shouting, “gun, gun, gun, gun.” Shots rang out. Police say Carey got off four shots before officers returned fire. It sounded in the video as though a total of about 15 shots were exchanged. Carey died at the hospital. No police officers were shot. The police chief and the prosecutor said officers acted appropriately given the circumstances. In fact, Becker said that had Carey survived, he would have been charged with attempted murder. “They had no other option,” Grand Rapids Police Chief David Rahinsky said, speaking to reporters after the video was released. “It just goes, in my mind, to reinforce just how dangerous a profession that law enforcement is.”
“I think they’re very lucky,” Prosecutor Becker said as he released his decision. “You look how close that was — that photograph of the gun pointed — and there’s two officers right there. But for the grace of God, neither one of them got hit.” The three officers involved in the shooting were placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, which is standard procedure. Two have already returned to work, and the third should be back on the job soon. Carey, of Grand Rapids, was a probation absconder and has a criminal history dating back to 2010, when he was 12. In 2015, he was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection to a Kentwood shooting, though he later pleaded to a less serious charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

Baltimore County Police got involved in a shootout with Blaine Robert Erb, 35 on June 7th 2017. Erb was killed by police during the incident. Officer First Class Slocum and a bystander were wounded.
Police responded to the report of an armed robbery in progress. When arriving at the scene police learned the suspect fled onto the No 10 Maryland Transit Administration bus. When an officer stopped the bus near Logan Village Shopping Center the suspect opened fire on police.
Police said 4 officers opened fire on the suspect, they have been placed on administrative leave. The suspect was found in possession of two .40-caliber handguns as well as spare magazines and ammunition. The suspect has a lengthy criminal history and is prohibited from possessing firearms.
The other officers involved were Police Officers First Class Carver, Leary and Minton. Due to an agreement with the police union the first names of officers are not released. The last name of the fourth officer will not be released as they are assigned to a sensitive undercover assignment.

Shootout at Lokhandwala is a 2007 Hindi crime thriller film directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It is the first instalment of the Shootout series. It is based upon the 1991 Lokhandwala Complex shootout, a real-life gun battle between gangsters and Mumbai Police.
Additional commissioner of police (ACP) A.A. Khan, head of the ATS, attacked the Lokhandwala Complex on 16 November 1991, with a force of around 400 armed policemen. Dreaded gangster Maya Dolas was hiding in the complex. The leading protagonists in the film have slightly different names than their real-life counterparts and the film caption is "based on true rumours." The film was released on 25 May 2007.

Shootout
A shootout is a gun battle between armed groups. A shootout often, but not necessarily, pits law enforcement against criminal elements; it could also involve two groups outside of law enforcement, such as rival gangs. A shootout in a war-like context (i.e. regularly constituted armed forces or even guerrilla or insurgent forces) would usually be considered a battle (depending on size), rather than a shootout. Shootouts are often portrayed in action films and western films.

The Greatest Shootout in the West
On December 19, 1854, while trekking on a miner's trail in along the North Fork of the American River, Dr. Bolivar Sparks, James McDonald and Captain Jonathan Davis were bushwhacked by an international band of bandits. The bandits, a Frenchman, two Americans, two Englishmen, four Mexicans and four Australians, had recently robbed and killed four American miners on December 18, 1854, and six Chinese miners on December 17, 1854. McDonald was killed instantly, and Dr. Sparks was fatally wounded, however Captain Davis, an Army veteran, pulled out both of his pistols and killed seven of the bandits in quick order. Out of bullets, Captain Davis, an expert fencer, pulled out his Bowie knife and killed four more of his attackers. The surviving bandits fled for their lives. The shootout was witnessed by a group of miners, who buried the bodies of the dead.

Grand Rapids, Michigan
Grand Rapids is the second-largest city in the U.S. state of Michigan, and the largest city in West Michigan. It is located on the Grand River about 30 miles east of Lake Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 188,040. A police force is a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder. Their powers include the legitimized use of force. In some societies, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, these developed within the context of maintaining the class system and the protection of private property. ** (Disclaimer: Video posted strictly for educational and information purposes only) ** Officials on Thursday released video from a fatal officer-involved shooting in Buckeye in 2016 that occurred as officers responded to reports that a man had shot his wife. A review determined the officers were justified in the shooting, according to a May 30 letter sent from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to the Buckeye Police Department. Police were called to a house near Wayland Drive and 238th Avenue in Buckeye on June 25, 2016, after receiving a call from California that 30-year-old William Ferguson had fatally shot his wife, 36-year-old Breanne Ferguson, according to the Buckeye Police Department. A "heavily armed" Ferguson approached investigating Officers A. Price and Larry Biffin in a white Dodge pickup before leaving the vehicle and "ambushing the officers with an assault rifle," police said. The video released Thursday from an officer's body camera shows the two officers near a police vehicle on a neighborhood street when the pickup truck appears. The officers notice the pickup truck and are talking about the situation, when gunfire erupts. Body-camera footage shows Biffin taking cover behind a patrol vehicle and firing back at Ferguson, discharging numerous rounds. Ferguson's ambush continued with a second round of gunfire that shattered the window of the patrol vehicle, police said. Officer Justin Ricks arrived at the scene to assist the officers, firing multiple rounds from his AR-15 patrol rifle at Ferguson and stopping Ferguson's attack, police said. Ferguson had been shot in the shoulder during the standoff and moments later took his own life, police said. Inside the home, officers found the body of Breanne Ferguson, who had been shot multiple times, as well as two children who were unharmed and taken to safety, police said. Evidence obtained at the scene linked Ferguson to his wife's death, police said. The children were later placed in the care of family members, police said. The Arizona Department of Public Safety conducted an investigation into the shooting while Buckeye detectives investigated the death of the woman, police said. The officers were placed on a standard three-day administrative leave following the incident, police said. The Buckeye Police Department praised its 2011 policy that issued AR-15 rifles to all officers to have on the street, saying it "proved valuable" in the incident. The delay in releasing the video came at the request of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, which asked police to wait until the case was resolved before distributing the footage, the Buckeye Police Department said. ** (Disclaimer: Video posted strictly for educational and information purposes only) ** Two officers who exchanged gunfire with a man earlier this month outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex have been cleared of any charges, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced Tuesday.. Police said Damion McRae, 37, shot Cincinnati police Officer Kenneth Grubbs outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex on March 12. Grubbs and McRae were injured, but are expected to make full recoveries. Officials released body camera footage from the two officers who responded to the shooting. Cincinnati police were called to an apartment building on Gilbert Avenue on reports of a domestic violence incident. Grubbs and Officer William Keuper, who were riding together as partners, found McCrae in the apartment’s courtyard. As the officers attempted to stop McCrae, prosecutors said, McCrae shot Grubbs with a 9 mm rifle concealed at his side. Grubbs was shot in the lower abdomen and fell to the ground. Prosecutors said Grubbs returned fire as he fell. Officials said Keuper, who was walking behind Grubbs when he was shot, also returned fire at McCrae. Investigators said McCrae was struck and fell to the ground. Deters said Grubbs fired 17 times, and Keuper fired eight rounds. Investigators said McCrae continued to reach into his pockets after the incident, despite police telling him not to. Deters said McRae also was carrying a .22-caliber revolver. McRae has been indicted on one count of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of weapons under disability, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of assault. If he is convicted of all charges, McRae faces the possibility of over 20 years in prison. Deters said Tuesday that depending on the investigation, a second attempted murder charge might be sought for McRae’s actions agast Keuper. “We are grateful for the safety of our two officers in this violent confrontation," Cincinnati police Chief Eliot Isaac said. "Their brave action demonstrated courage under fire, amazing restraint, and is a true testament to their training. Prosecutor Chris Becker released his decision Tuesday, along with dash camera and body camera video showing the May 3 shooting of Malik Carey. The footage from dashcams and bodycams shows officers approach Carey as he was seated in the back seat of a car on Dickinson Street near Kalamazoo Avenue SE. They were looking for him in coordination with Grand Rapids Public Schools because he hadn’t been showing up for class. Prosecutors say Carey gave a fake name, so officers waited to get a picture of him to confirm he was the person they were looking for. In the meantime, Carey and one of the officers chatted nonchalantly about Carey’s dreadlocks.
But once officers confirmed Carey’s identity, things turned violent. Prosecutors highlighted portions of the video that show Carey pulling a gun from his waistband. The officers scrambled back, one of them shouting, “gun, gun, gun, gun.” Shots rang out. Police say Carey got off four shots before officers returned fire. It sounded in the video as though a total of about 15 shots were exchanged. Carey died at the hospital. No police officers were shot. The police chief and the prosecutor said officers acted appropriately given the circumstances. In fact, Becker said that had Carey survived, he would have been charged with attempted murder. “They had no other option,” Grand Rapids Police Chief David Rahinsky said, speaking to reporters after the video was released. “It just goes, in my mind, to reinforce just how dangerous a profession that law enforcement is.”
“I think they’re very lucky,” Prosecutor Becker said as he released his decision. “You look how close that was — that photograph of the gun pointed — and there’s two officers right there. But for the grace of God, neither one of them got hit.” The three officers involved in the shooting were placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, which is standard procedure. Two have already returned to work, and the third should be back on the job soon. Carey, of Grand Rapids, was a probation absconder and has a criminal history dating back to 2010, when he was 12. In 2015, he was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection to a Kentwood shooting, though he later pleaded to a less serious charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

Officials on Thursday released video from a fatal officer-involved shooting in Buckeye in 2016 that occurred as officers responded to reports that a man had shot his wife. A review determined the officers were justified in the shooting, according to a May 30 letter sent from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to the Buckeye Police Department. Police were called to a house near Wayland Drive and 238th Avenue in Buckeye on June 25, 2016, after receiving a call from California that 30-year-old William Ferguson had fatally shot his wife, 36-year-old Breanne Ferguson, according to the Buckeye Police Department. A "heavily armed" Ferguson approached investigating Officers A. Price and Larry Biffin in a white Dodge pickup before leaving the vehicle and "ambushing the officers with an assault rifle," police said. The video released Thursday from an officer's body camera shows the two officers near a police vehicle on a neighborhood street when the pickup truck appears. The officers notice the pickup truck and are talking about the situation, when gunfire erupts. Body-camera footage shows Biffin taking cover behind a patrol vehicle and firing back at Ferguson, discharging numerous rounds. Ferguson's ambush continued with a second round of gunfire that shattered the window of the patrol vehicle, police said.
Officer Justin Ricks arrived at the scene to assist the officers, firing multiple rounds from his AR-15 patrol rifle at Ferguson and stopping Ferguson's attack, police said. Ferguson had been shot in the shoulder during the standoff and moments later took his own life, police said. Inside the home, officers found the body of Breanne Ferguson, who had been shot multiple times, as well as two children who were unharmed and taken to safety, police said. Evidence obtained at the scene linked Ferguson to his wife's death, police said. The children were later placed in the care of family members, police said. The Arizona Department of Public Safety conducted an investigation into the shooting while Buckeye detectives investigated the death of the woman, police said. The officers were placed on a standard three-day administrative leave following the incident, police said. The Buckeye Police Department praised its 2011 policy that issued AR-15 rifles to all officers to have on the street, saying it "proved valuable" in the incident. Officials on Thursday released video from a fatal officer-involved shooting in Buckeye in 2016 that occurred as officers responded to reports that a man had shot his wife. A review determined the officers were justified in the shooting, according to a May 30 letter sent from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to the Buckeye Police Department. Police were called to a house near Wayland Drive and 238th Avenue in Buckeye on June 25, 2016, after receiving a call from California that 30-year-old William Ferguson had fatally shot his wife, 36-year-old Breanne Ferguson, according to the Buckeye Police Department. A "heavily armed" Ferguson approached investigating Officers A. Price and Larry Biffin in a white Dodge pickup before leaving the vehicle and "ambushing the officers with an assault rifle," police said. The video released Thursday from an officer's body camera shows the two officers near a police vehicle on a neighborhood street when the pickup truck appears. The officers notice the pickup truck and are talking about the situation, when gunfire erupts. Body-camera footage shows Biffin taking cover behind a patrol vehicle and firing back at Ferguson, discharging numerous rounds. Ferguson's ambush continued with a second round of gunfire that shattered the window of the patrol vehicle, police said.
Officer Justin Ricks arrived at the scene to assist the officers, firing multiple rounds from his AR-15 patrol rifle at Ferguson and stopping Ferguson's attack, police said. Ferguson had been shot in the shoulder during the standoff and moments later took his own life, police said. Inside the home, officers found the body of Breanne Ferguson, who had been shot multiple times, as well as two children who were unharmed and taken to safety, police said. Evidence obtained at the scene linked Ferguson to his wife's death, police said. The children were later placed in the care of family members, police said. The Arizona Department of Public Safety conducted an investigation into the shooting while Buckeye detectives investigated the death of the woman, police said. The officers were placed on a standard three-day administrative leave following the incident, police said. The Buckeye Police Department praised its 2011 policy that issued AR-15 rifles to all officers to have on the street, saying it "proved valuable" in the incident. Two officers who exchanged gunfire with a man earlier this month outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex have been cleared of any charges, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced Tuesday.. Police said Damion McRae, 37, shot Cincinnati police Officer Kenneth Grubbs outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex on March 12. Grubbs and McRae were injured, but are expected to make full recoveries. Officials released body camera footage from the two officers who responded to the shooting. Cincinnati police were called to an apartment building on Gilbert Avenue on reports of a domestic violence incident. Grubbs and Officer William Keuper, who were riding together as partners, found McCrae in the apartment’s courtyard. As the officers attempted to stop McCrae, prosecutors said, McCrae shot Grubbs with a 9 mm rifle concealed at his side. Grubbs was shot in the lower abdomen and fell to the ground.
Prosecutors said Grubbs returned fire as he fell. Officials said Keuper, who was walking behind Grubbs when he was shot, also returned fire at McCrae. Investigators said McCrae was struck and fell to the ground. Deters said Grubbs fired 17 times, and Keuper fired eight rounds. Investigators said McCrae continued to reach into his pockets after the incident, despite police telling him not to. Deters said McRae also was carrying a .22-caliber revolver. McRae has been indicted on one count of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of weapons under disability, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of assault. If he is convicted of all charges, McRae faces the possibility of over 20 years in prison.
Deters said Tuesday that depending on the investigation, a second attempted murder charge might be sought for McRae’s actions agast Keuper. “We are grateful for the safety of our two officers in this violent confrontation," Cincinnati police Chief Eliot Isaac said. "Their brave action demonstrated courage under fire, amazing restraint, and is a true testament to their training. We will work closely with the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office to ensure Mr. McRae is held accountable for this heinous act to the fullest extent of the law.”

Authorities released revealing body cam video and the cause of death Friday for an armed suspect in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday near the Las Vegas strip. The shootout and subsequent stand-off situation, left two Metro Police officers shot and one injured. The Clark County Coroner's office said 25-year-old Miguel Salas died from a fatal shot to the head. Salas was the suspect named in the officer-involved shooting incident that happened Tuesday evening. In the body cam video of the shooting, police asked Salas to step out of the truck and he refused. "Step out of the car," an officer is heard saying. "Why do you need me to step out of my car?" Salas said. "I'm not doing nothing!" "Yes, you are. You're not listening to our command. Do you want to get tased?" the officer said. In the video, an officer holds Salas' left wrist as he argued with the police. In a split second, Salas grabs a gun and starts firing at police. Officers run for cover and fire back at Salas. "Shots fired! I've been hit! Shots fired, I've been hit!" Metro Police Officer Richard Nelson is heard yelling. Police said units originally responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle, that was connected to a report of a stolen cell phone, parked in front of a business in the 4100 block of West Tompkins Avenue at 4:15 p.m.
According to Metro Police Sgt. Jeff Clark, as officers approached the vehicle, the suspect opened fire and struck two officers from inside the vehicle. Officer Richard Nelson, 33, was wearing a bullet proof vest when he was hit in the lower left chest area and subsequently transported to University Medical Center. Nelson has four children and his parents and fiance were at the hospital while he was treated. Sgt. Clark updated the situation and reported Officer Nelson "was okay" after the incident. The other officer, who has not been identified, was also hit, but his uniform belt kept him from suffering any wounds, police said. "It doesn't matter what area this happens in, everybody comes together and supports each other (in times like these)," Sheriff Joe Lombardo said. Officer Nelson has been employed with the department since April 2009. He has been placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of this incident. Metro Assistant Sheriff Tom Roberts briefed the media Friday afternoon, said he spoke to both officers involved in the shooting and both are "doing well."

The Kent County prosecutor says Grand Rapids officers were justified in fatal shooting of 18-year-old man during a gun battle earlier this month. Prosecutor Chris Becker released his decision Tuesday, along with dash camera and body camera video showing the May 3 shooting of Malik Carey. The footage from dashcams and bodycams shows officers approach Carey as he was seated in the back seat of a car on Dickinson Street near Kalamazoo Avenue SE. They were looking for him in coordination with Grand Rapids Public Schools because he hadn’t been showing up for class. Prosecutors say Carey gave a fake name, so officers waited to get a picture of him to confirm he was the person they were looking for. In the meantime, Carey and one of the officers chatted nonchalantly about Carey’s dreadlocks.
But once officers confirmed Carey’s identity, things turned violent. Prosecutors highlighted portions of the video that show Carey pulling a gun from his waistband. The officers scrambled back, one of them shouting, “gun, gun, gun, gun.” Shots rang out. Police say Carey got off four shots before officers returned fire. It sounded in the video as though a total of about 15 shots were exchanged. Carey died at the hospital. No police officers were shot. The police chief and the prosecutor said officers acted appropriately given the circumstances. In fact, Becker said that had Carey survived, he would have been charged with attempted murder. “They had no other option,” Grand Rapids Police Chief David Rahinsky said, speaking to reporters after the video was released. “It just goes, in my mind, to reinforce just how dangerous a profession that law enforcement is.”
“I think they’re very lucky,” Prosecutor Becker said as he released his decision. “You look how close that was — that photograph of the gun pointed — and there’s two officers right there. But for the grace of God, neither one of them got hit.” The three officers involved in the shooting were placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, which is standard procedure. Two have already returned to work, and the third should be back on the job soon. Carey, of Grand Rapids, was a probation absconder and has a criminal history dating back to 2010, when he was 12. In 2015, he was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection to a Kentwood shooting, though he later pleaded to a less serious charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

The other officers involved were Police Officers First Class Carver, Leary and Minton. Due to an agreement with the police union the first names of officers are not released. The last name of the fourth officer will not be released as they are assigned to a sensitive undercover assignment.

Officials on Thursday released video from a fatal officer-involved shooting in Buckeye in 2016 that occurred as officers responded to reports that a man had shot his wife. A review determined the officers were justified in the shooting, according to a May 30 letter sent from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to the Buckeye Police Department. Police were called to a house near Wayland Drive and 238th Avenue in Buckeye on June 25, 2016, after receiving a call from California that 30-year-old William Ferguson had fatally shot his wife, 36-year-old Breanne Ferguson, according to the Buckeye Police Department. A "heavily armed" Ferguson approached investigating Officers A. Price and Larry Biffin in a white Dodge pickup before leaving the vehicle and "ambushing the officers with an assault rifle," police said. The video released Thursday from an officer's body camera shows the two officers near a police vehicle on a neighborhood street when the pickup truck appears. The officers notice the pickup truck and are talking about the situation, when gunfire erupts. Body-camera footage shows Biffin taking cover behind a patrol vehicle and firing back at Ferguson, discharging numerous rounds. Ferguson's ambush continued with a second round of gunfire that shattered the window of the patrol vehicle, police said.
Officer Justin Ricks arrived at the scene to assist the officers, firing multiple rounds from his AR-15 patrol rifle at Ferguson and stopping Ferguson's attack, police said. Officials on Thursday released video from a fatal officer-involved shooting in Buckeye in 2016 that occurred as officers responded to reports that a man had shot his wife. A review determined the officers were justified in the shooting, according to a May 30 letter sent from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office to the Buckeye Police Department. Police were called to a house near Wayland Drive and 238th Avenue in Buckeye on June 25, 2016, after receiving a call from California that 30-year-old William Ferguson had fatally shot his wife, 36-year-old Breanne Ferguson, according to the Buckeye Police Department. A "heavily armed" Ferguson approached investigating Officers A. Price and Larry Biffin in a white Dodge pickup before leaving the vehicle and "ambushing the officers with an assault rifle," police said. The video released Thursday from an officer's body camera shows the two officers near a police vehicle on a neighborhood street when the pickup truck appears. The officers notice the pickup truck and are talking about the situation, when gunfire erupts. Body-camera footage shows Biffin taking cover behind a patrol vehicle and firing back at Ferguson, discharging numerous rounds. Ferguson's ambush continued with a second round of gunfire that shattered the window of the patrol vehicle, police said.

Two officers who exchanged gunfire with a man earlier this month outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex have been cleared of any charges, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced Tuesday.. Police said Damion McRae, 37, shot Cincinnati police Officer Kenneth Grubbs outside a Walnut Hills apartment complex on March 12. Grubbs and McRae were injured, but are expected to make full recoveries. Officials released body camera footage from the two officers who responded to the shooting. Cincinnati police were called to an apartment building on Gilbert Avenue on reports of a domestic violence incident. Grubbs and Officer William Keuper, who were riding together as partners, found McCrae in the apartment’s courtyard. As the officers attempted to stop McCrae, prosecutors said, McCrae shot Grubbs with a 9 mm rifle concealed at his side. Grubbs was shot in the lower abdomen and fell to the ground.
Prosecutors said Grubbs returned fire as he fell. Officials said Keuper, who was walking behind Grubbs when he was shot, also returned fire at McCrae. Investigators said McCrae was struck and fell to the ground. Deters said Grubbs fired 17 times, and Keuper fired eight rounds. Investigators said McCrae continued to reach into his pockets after the incident, despite police telling him not to. Deters said McRae also was carrying a .22-caliber revolver. McRae has been indicted on one count of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of weapons under disability, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of assault. If he is convicted of all charges, McRae faces the possibility of over 20 years in prison.
Deters said Tuesday that depending on the investigation, a second attempted murder charge might be sought for McRae’s actions agast Keuper. “We are grateful for the safety of our two officers in this violent confrontation," Cincinnati police Chief Eliot Isaac said. "Their brave action demonstrated courage under fire, amazing restraint, and is a true testament to their training. We will work closely with the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office to ensure Mr. McRae is held accountable for this heinous act to the fullest extent of the law.”

Watch Dogs 2 (stylized as WATCH_DOGS2) is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The sequel to 2014's Watch Dogs, it was released worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in November 2016.

Happy Thanksgiving! In this video, we go on a patrol that defies federalism, and exercise a poorly defined jurisdiction as we respond to callouts that don't make any sense in and around Fort Zancudo. The main event comes when a massive shootout breaks out near one of the hangars, one of my soldiers falls off the truck (he was the one who refuses to get inside) and we have to go back in to rescue him. We quickly realize that we are outgunned, and decide to hop in a fighter jet to try to bombard the bad guys from the air. We try to escape in a Titan, except somehow, one of my guys FALLS OUT OF THE PLANE. Since nobody gets left behind, we try to land and pick him up, but while trying to land an enemy steals a jet, and starts attacking us with missiles, shooting us down. I try to strategically wait for the opportune moment to shoot homing rockets at them, but keep coming up short. Eventually, I have to get in a fighter jet of my own, and we have a proper dogfight on our hands. Also, I didn't forget to go check out what the deal is with those big slides from the last video. Enjoy!
