Ahmed I (Ottoman Turkish: احمد اول Aḥmed-i evvel; Turkish: I. Ahmed; April 18, 1590 – November 22, 1617) was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1603 until his death in 1617.
In the earlier part of his reign Ahmed I showed decision and vigor, which were belied by his subsequent conduct. The wars which attended his accession both in Hungary and in Persia terminated unfavourably for the empire, and its prestige received its first check in the Treaty of Zsitvatorok, signed in 1606, whereby the annual tribute paid by Austria was abolished. Following the crushing defeat in the Ottoman–Safavid War (1603–18) against the neighbouring rivalling Safavid Empire led by Shah Abbas the Great, Georgia, Azerbaijan and other vast territories in the Caucasus were ceded back to Persia per the Treaty of Nasuh Pasha in 1612, territories which had earlier been temporarily conquered per the outcoming result of the Ottoman–Safavid War (1578–90). The new borders were drawn per exactly the same line as confirmed in the Peace of Amasya of 1555.
Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Turkish pronunciation: [muhteˈʃɛm ˈjyzjɯl], English: The Magnificent Century) is a Turkish historical fiction television series. Written by Meral Okay and Yılmaz Şahin, it is based on the life of Ottoman Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, the longest reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hürrem Sultan, a slave girl who became Sultana. It was originally broadcast on Show TV and then transferred to Star TV.
Succeeding his father, Sultan Selim I, at the age of 26, Sultan Süleyman I became the tenth sultan of the Ottoman Empire. This series captures the essence of being a sultan, prince, and govenor, yet also introduces life as a sultana, concubine, or even political refugee. The series also focuses on Süleyman's legal wife and throne-sweetheart, Hürrem Sultan, and her constant, messy battle to keep concubines out of the Sultan's chambers.
As the harem heats up, so do the cannons against infidels. While women poison, and men stab, the beautiful entanglements between slaves and princes, sultans and sultanas, and even soldiers with city-girls, bring light to the darkest corners of the palace. Including Süleyman's best friend, İbrahim Paşa, having feelings for Süleyman's sister Hatice Sultan, but his confused emotions for another could land him on the chopping block, literally.

Together we made it
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall
[Busta Rhymes:]
See ah niggas i survived the worst but my life is glorious
Betta know that i leaped every hurdle and i'm so victorious
Take a look, I'm a symbol of greatness now call a nigga Morpheus
As force securing the win and I believe I'm so notorious
You know that I've been buying my bread even though we rapping now (yes)
We use to live on the strip and you see a nigga higher level tramping now
Superceded everyone of my middle struggles and
Failure never ever has been an option
A nigga paper long like we was on the trap and we bout ta take the hood shoppin'
Get it!
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes) *Mike Shinoda*
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c'mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
but we took it on the road (to the riches)
on the road (to the ghetto)
on the roooooad (in the projects to this bangin instrumental)
on the road (ride with me) *yeah, yeah*
on the road (you come and get it) *yeah, yeah*
on the roooooooad *yeah, yeah, yeah, yo!*
[Mike Shinoda:]
When it all got started we was steadily just getting rejected
And it seemed like nothing we could do would ever get us respected
At best we were stressed and the worst they probably said we're pathetic
Had all the pieces to that puzzle just no way to connect it
And I was fighting through every rhyme tightening up every line
Never resting the question if I was out of my mind
And it finally came time to do it or let it die
So put the chips on the table and told 'em to let it ride
Sing it!
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes)
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c'mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
but we took it on the road (to the riches)
on the road (to the ghetto)
on the roooooad (in the projects to this bangin instrumental)
on the road (ride with me)
on the road (you come and get it)
on the roooooooad
[Busta Rhymes:]
Look in case you misunderstand exactly what I'm building
Shit that I could leave for my children (children) children (children)
Now I only wake up with a smile to see how far I've come
Fighting for sales on a strip to get the hustle from
From nights in jail on a bench using my muscles son
To counting money like Dre and Jimmy or Russell One
But now I live what I dream you see we finally did it
Let's make a toast to the hustle regardless how you did it
Sing it
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes)
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c'mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
