Sakurai (桜井市, Sakurai-shi) is a city located in Nara Prefecture, Japan.
As of April 1, 2015, the city has an estimated population of 58,436, and 24,389 households. The population density is 613.68 persons per km², and the total area is 98.92 km².
Sakurai was briefly the capital of Japan during the reign of Emperor Yūryaku. The life of the Imperial court was centered at Hatsuse no Asakura Palace where the emperor lived in 457–479. Other emperors also built palaces in the area, including
The modern city was founded on September 1, 1956.
Sakurai is home to Ōmiwa Shrine, traditionally considered one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan dedicated to the god of sake. Sake dealers across Japan often hang a wooden sugi ball, made at Ōmiwa Shrine, as a talisman to the god of sake. It was featured in Yukio Mishima's novel Runaway Horses.
Masahiro Sakurai (桜井 政博, Sakurai Masahiro, born August 3, 1970) is a Japanese video game director, designer, and writer, best known as the creator of the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. series. Apart from his work in those series, he also directed Meteos in 2005 and Kid Icarus: Uprising in 2012.
He is currently the director of software development for Sora Ltd., a company he founded in 2005. He is also the author of a weekly column for Famitsu magazine, and has developed a cult following for his streamlined, yet deep gameplay. He also voiced the character King Dedede in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and in Super Smash Bros.
One of Sakurai's earliest experiences in the video game industry began when he worked for HAL Laboratory, where he created the character Kirby at age 19 and directed his first title, Kirby's Dream Land. Sakurai left HAL on August 5, 2003, after growing tired of the sequelization from HAL, ending his work on the Kirby series. "It was tough for me to see that every time I made a new game, people automatically assumed that a sequel was coming," said Sakurai, in an interview with Nintendo Dream, two weeks after he resigned from HAL. He explained that, "even if it's a sequel, lots of people have to give their all to make a game, but some people think the sequel process happens naturally."

Plot: As a Labrador puppy, Quill is sent to live with a couple, Isamu and Mitsuko Nii, who work as volunteers, training guide dogs (seeing eye dogs). When he grows to an adult dog, he is taken to a guide dog school, by a friendly, yet firm trainer Satoru Tawada. Although Quill is a little slower than the other dogs at the school, he seems to have an unusual 'empathy' and remarkable patience with his trainers. Tawade decides that Quill would be the ideal guide dog for Mitsuru Watanabe, but Wanatabe, a lonely and ill-tempered middle aged man, isn't as enthusiastic - he would "would rather sleep than be dragged around by a dog.". From here, the story is narrated by Wanatabe's daughter, Mitsuko, and slowly, Wantanbe is rehabilitated, venturing into the outside world, and learning, not only to trust other humans, but the animal at his side who guides him.

The egg hatches into a small monster, which Ayana decides to raise and quickly develops as psychic bond with. As Ayana's monster, named Iris, grows to adulthood, the flying turtle Gamera begins to take an interest in this new potential threat. Who will be the victor in the final battle, and how much of Japan will be left standing at the end?

A Sakurai Combo is when someone manages to use Falco/Fox's Up-B successfully to combo/or to kill, as Sakurai intended. While the move is not very good in this situations, these players make it work somehow, and create extremely entertaining combos/moments. Thanks for watching! This is my newest "Let's Play" video of Train Simulator 2016 and this one shows the new Japanese add-on that is the Wakayama-Sakurai Line. I have made some scenarios for this route that can be downloaded from the Steam workshop that uses the default stock that comes with the route. Here I am driving the JNR (Japan National Railway) 103 Series EMU from Gojo to Takada which is about a half hour run with calling at all the stations along the way. Not a bad add-on and I quite like it to be honest but I wish it was just a bit longer as a run to Nara from Takada via Sakurai would have been nice. But that aside, I would love to see more Japanese routes and trains become available for Train Simulator 2016 anyway. Overall Rating: 8/10. The scenario can be downloaded via the Steam workshop at http...

Hasedera (Kamakura) Temple: The noteworthy Kannon statue at Hasedera was produced using a solitary bit of camphor wood in the eighth century. As per legend, it was one of two pictures produced using an immense camphor tree. One of the pictures was kept in Hase, close Nara, while the other was thrown in the ocean to choose for itself where it ought to be venerated. The picture floated for 300 miles before appearing on shore. Yet, its first stop was obviously not the picked place, as it conveyed misfortune or ailment to everybody who touched it. Tossed over into the ocean, it in the end achieved Kamak...

The way which connects a shrine and a temple encloses. The pilgrimage way to Hase-dera was called "Hatsusekaido." The way called "Ise-Yamato-Mawari" continues to Tounomine and Yoshino through Sakurai and Asuka. In the mountain of Tounomine, many plants grow thick, and a ridgeline rises up. When you're lonely, what do you do?
Never say that you don't know. Sleep, play, browsing
magazines.
Lonely times are indeed lonely.
Today, the invisible cellular signals are again tu lu
tu tu flying about the city.
Anyway, with the vectors of my heart, so many reasons
are said.
We'd like to fly freely in the sky, but we have no
place to spread our wings.
But believe.
There are futures without form. I want to make a form
of it, so I am here.
As you wait for the wind before taking off, I smile at
you.
You're not a machine that performs perfectly every
time. You don't have to make a show out of failure.
True courage lies in the fact that you were moving your
broken wings.
Say how you never make any excuses.
Cool eyes that never say anything. Are you being
silent, running way, or maybe scowling?
Or is it that you understand? I can't sense it.
Let me hear your true feelings tu lu tu tu It's
overflowing.
Any day, you strive to be so kind, but your smile
always has pain behind it.
You treat new people as if they were just background.
You carry your lonely face on your perplexed journey.
Your back all hunched up.
There are tears that will never stop. Friends that
refuse to leave you are right here.
You reach out your hand toward someplace, surely we'll
go there someday.
There are plently of unsatisfactory things right?
That's why there are lots to wish for.
It's true that mistakes can be made, but thoughts can
yet fly to the dreams.
We'd like to fly freely in the sky, but we have no
place to spread our wings.
But believe.
There are futures without form. I want to make a form
