Laura is the youngest member of the Omloop family. With two brothers, three sisters and two dogs added to the mix, their home is always very lively. Especially when you consider that Laura is singing from dawn till dusk: she begins in the morning, when she is in the bathroom, and only stops when she goes to sleep.
Singing is primarily a hobby for Laura. She taught herself to sing, with the help of her SingStar karaoke set, and got some live experience performing at the occasional neighbourhood party. Nothing earth-shaking until one day, when Laura discovered clips of people yodelling on YouTube. After two weeks of intensive practising, Laura had mastered the technique and could switch from chest to head register as quickly as the best of them.
Not long after this, Laura entered the Belgian preselections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She sang the song So in love - yodelo, about that wonderful feeling you get when your heart skips a beat, when the sun is suddenly shining every day and when there is a rainbow just around every corner its called being in love.
Laura turned out to be the discovery of the year: she took viewing Belgiums breath away. Viewers promptly voted her into first place. A star was born. In barely two weeks Lauras song So in love - yodelo was topping the charts and all of Belgium was yodelling. Who knows, before long the rest of Europe may be yodelling too...

Track (rail transport)
The track on a railway or railroad, also known as the permanent way, is the structure consisting of the rails, fasteners, railroad ties (sleepers, British English) and ballast (or slab track), plus the underlying subgrade. It enables trains to move by providing a dependable surface for their wheels to roll. For clarity it is often referred to as railway track (British English and UIC terminology) or railroad track (predominantly in the United States). Tracks where electric trains or electric trams run are equipped with an electrification system such as an overhead electrical power line or an additional electrified rail.
The term permanent way also refers to the track in addition to lineside structures such as fences etc.

Notwithstanding modern technical developments, the overwhelmingly dominant track form worldwide consists of flat-bottom steel rails supported on timber or pre-stressed concrete sleepers, which are themselves laid on crushed stone ballast.

Fidelipac
The Fidelipac, commonly known as a "NAB cartridge" or simply "cart", is a magnetic tape sound recording format, used for radio broadcasting for playback of material over the air such as radio commercials, jingles, station identifications, and music. Fidelipac is the official name of this industry standard audio tape cartridge. It was developed in 1954 by inventor George Eash (although the invention of the Fidelipac cartridge has also been credited to Vern Nolte of the Automatic Tape Company), and commercially introduced in 1959 by Collins Radio at the 1959 NAB Convention. The cartridge was widely used at radio stations until the late 1990s, when such formats as MiniDisc and computerized broadcast automation made the Fidelipac cartridge obsolete.
History
The Fidelipac cartridge was the first audio tape cartridge available commercially, based on the endless-loop tape cartridge design developed by Bernard Cousino in 1952, while Eash shared space in Cousino's electronics shop in the early 1950s. Instead of manufacturing the Fidelipac format himself after developing it, Eash decided to license it for manufacture to Telepro Industries, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Telepro then manufactured and marketed the format under the Fidelipac brand name.

Laura (TV series)
Laura (also known as Laura en América, Laura sin censura, Laura de todos, and Laura en acción) is a Peruvian talk show, hosted by lawyer Laura Bozzo.
The show originated as Laura en América ("Laura in America") and first aired on America TV in February 1998. Bozzo had previously done a similar program called Intimidades ("Intimacies") in 1997. Laura is known for displaying various social problems such as domestic violence, adultery, alcoholism and drug addiction.
Laura en América was the most-watched program in Peru in the late 1990s and one of the most tuned-in talk show in several Latin American countries. The talk show stopped broadcasting in 2001, after the Alberto Fujimori controversy, which involved Bozzo. In the following years, Bozzo continued to record different programs with the same format, but were only transmitted abroad for the Telemundo International chain or cable television. Bozzo had planned to return to Peruvian television through Panamericana Television in 2007, but the project was canceled due to differences between her and her producers. She then returned for a short time at the Peruvian channel ATV, with a program of the same format called Laura en acción ("Laura in action"), which was cancelled due to several complaints.

Laura (What's He Got That I Ain't Got)
"Laura (What's He Got That I Ain't Got)" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Leon Ashley. Recorded in 1967 and released on his own Ashley Records label, the song was his only No. 1 single that September. Frankie Laine and Brook Benton took cover versions to the pop and Adult Contemporary charts that year, while Claude King, Marty Robbins and Kenny Rogers charted their own versions on the country charts.
Background
Ashley had previously released several singles on the Goldband and Imperial record labels, but none of his singles were successful. Then, in 1967, Ashley founded his own label, Ashley Records. That year, he recorded a song he co-wrote with his wife, Margie Singleton: "Laura (What's He Got That I Ain't Got)." Released that July, "Laura" went on to become a No. 1 smash on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart by the end of September.
Plot
The song is told from the perspective of Laura's husband, and depicts a confrontation the two are having regarding an apparently crumbling marriage.

Laure (film)
Laure (also known as Forever Emmanuelle and Laura) is a 1976 Italian erotic film directed by Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane and Roberto D'Ettorre Piazzoli, even if the film was advertised as directed by Emmanuelle Arsan. The first choice for the title role was Linda Lovelace, but due to her personal problems at the time, she was first recast in the secondary role of Natalie Morgan, and eventually put out of the film. It was shot in the Philippines and in Rome.

Laura is the youngest member of the Omloop family. With two brothers, three sisters and two dogs added to the mix, their home is always very lively. Especially when you consider that Laura is singing from dawn till dusk: she begins in the morning, when she is in the bathroom, and only stops when she goes to sleep.
Singing is primarily a hobby for Laura. She taught herself to sing, with the help of her SingStar karaoke set, and got some live experience performing at the occasional neighbourhood party. Nothing earth-shaking until one day, when Laura discovered clips of people yodelling on YouTube. After two weeks of intensive practising, Laura had mastered the technique and could switch from chest to head register as quickly as the best of them.
Not long after this, Laura entered the Belgian preselections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She sang the song So in love - yodelo, about that wonderful feeling you get when your heart skips a beat, when the sun is suddenly shining every day and when there is a rainbow just around every corner its called being in love.
Laura turned out to be the discovery of the year: she took viewing Belgiums breath away. Viewers promptly voted her into first place. A star was born. In barely two weeks Lauras song So in love - yodelo was topping the charts and all of Belgium was yodelling. Who knows, before long the rest of Europe may be yodelling too...

At first sight Laura seems a delicate little elf of almost ten, but that impression is blown away when she opens her mouth: her phenomenal voice knocks your socks off. Moreover, when Laura performs So in love - yodelo, she not only sings staggeringly well, she also uses her secret weapon: the most infectious yodelling in Europe! What love can do to a girl
Laura is the youngest member of the Omloop family. With two brothers, three sisters and two dogs added to the mix, their home is always very lively. Especially when you consider that Laura is singing from dawn till dusk: she begins in the morning, when she is in the bathroom, and only stops when she goes to sleep.
Singing is primarily a hobby for Laura. She taught herself to sing, with the help of her SingStar karaoke set, and got some live experience performing at the occasional neighbourhood party. Nothing earth-shaking until one day, when Laura discovered clips of people yodelling on YouTube. After two weeks of intensive practising, Laura had mastered the technique and could switch from chest to head register as quickly as the best of them.
Not long after this, Laura entered the Belgian preselections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She sang the song So in love - yodelo, about that wonderful feeling you get when your heart skips a beat, when the sun is suddenly shining every day and when there is a rainbow just around every corner its called being in love.
Laura turned out to be the discovery of the year: she took viewing Belgiums breath away. Viewers promptly voted her into first place. A star was born. In barely two weeks Lauras song So in love - yodelo was topping the charts and all of Belgium was yodelling. Who knows, before long the rest of Europe may be yodelling too...

Track (rail transport)
The track on a railway or railroad, also known as the permanent way, is the structure consisting of the rails, fasteners, railroad ties (sleepers, British English) and ballast (or slab track), plus the underlying subgrade. It enables trains to move by providing a dependable surface for their wheels to roll. For clarity it is often referred to as railway track (British English and UIC terminology) or railroad track (predominantly in the United States). Tracks where electric trains or electric trams run are equipped with an electrification system such as an overhead electrical power line or an additional electrified rail.
The term permanent way also refers to the track in addition to lineside structures such as fences etc.

Notwithstanding modern technical developments, the overwhelmingly dominant track form worldwide consists of flat-bottom steel rails supported on timber or pre-stressed concrete sleepers, which are themselves laid on crushed stone ballast.
