Non serviam is Latin for "I will not serve". The phrase is generally attributed to Lucifer, who is said to have spoken these words to express rejection to serve God in the heavenly kingdom.
Today "Non serviam" is also used or referred to as motto by a number of political, cultural, and religious groups to express their wish to rebel; it may be used to express a radical view against established common beliefs and organisational structures accepted as the status quo.
In the Latin Vulgate, Jeremiah laments that the people of Israel speak "Non serviam" to express their rejection of God. The words became a general expression of the basic manner of rejecting God, such that it would apply to the fall of Lucifer. The words have thus been attributed to Lucifer.
In modern times "Non serviam" developed also into a general phrase used by modernists to express radical, sometimes even revolutionary rejection of conformity, not necessarily limited to religious matters only and as expressed in modern literary adaptations of the motto.
Non Serviam is a 1945 poetry collection by the Swedish writer Gunnar Ekelöf. The title comes from the Christian phrase "Non serviam", which is Latin for "I will not serve" and is attributed to Lucifer. In the poems Ekelöf criticises the contemporary political climate of Sweden; in the titular poem he describes himself as "a stranger in this land", and in the satirical poem "Till de folkhemske" he attacks the Folkhemmet concept.
Non Serviam includes three of Ekelöf's greatest poems: Samothrace, Gymnosofisten (the Gymnosophist) and Absentia animi.
A sculpture by Ernst Nordin, with the name Non Serviam, stands at Malmskillnadsgatan 25 in Stockholm since 1980, and features the first four lines of Ekelöf's poem.

Non Serviam may also refer to:
The gates of hell, sacrifice, resurrection
Condemn my soul to burn
The flames lick my languishing body
Attracting me to the uttermost darkness
Riding the devil's whores, flagellation
Life forgives me no more, open my veins
Engulfed by chaos I'm shedding my blood
The living will not mourn
Scattered in torment and eternal pain
In darkness I'm reborn
Travel of distant places, of which no mortal have seen
Floating religiously unconscious,
To find my left hand path
The pain of life now return
Satan!
- Yes son?
Let me burn
Jehovah, I want to fuck you all night long
