New Better Remaster:  Per the request, I had ripped these two originally when I was chasing the high frequencies with Audacity freeware after I had moved offline and lost a Magix software on-line higher frequency patch.  But learned that humans can't hear above the 48,000 Hz software limit and those extra frequencies run into each other and cause noise...so all I had to do was import my saved WAV files into my software which automatically gets it back in the lower frequency limit and cleans up the sound.  Since I saw these two the other day in a store where I sell back, I will keep an eye out for my old copies.              http://www33.zippyshare.com/v/BXQZ3Cpr/file.html

Gooneybirds - st CD 90

This was Woody Harrelson's favorite band and he would open for them when his tye-dyed band was touring.  Their regular Sunday shows at the Cabooze were legendary and part of my regular college experience--being good friends from high school.  Jessica sadly passed away as did the drummer Steve Rummler who we learned was constantly in pain while playing and died from opiate painkiller addiction.  I will say heavily influenced by the Grateful Dead, when in 1986 all of our school quit punk and became Deadheads just in time for the Grateful Dead/Bob Dylan tour.  Here is a link to explore:  http://steverummlerhopenetwork.org/

MANGO JAM - st CD 92

Well since I was ripping a few CD's I had to throw in a few with friends from high school.   I gave this completely jammin' band CD here on a tape to my friend going into the Peace Corps in Bolivia and he said almost weekly they would play it in the kitchen during meal preparation the song, "Chaos In The Kitchen'.  This band and the one above played weekends many many times at Cabooze bar.

REPOST Request:  And a big thanks for that as it is getting me to organize.  Since I usually listen to the first two release on CD (that I bought at the SST store the one time I went there while on a business trip) as I used to have the vinyl between myself and a friend but anyway noticed the comment from d. on quality and so will re-rip with my new method (this is a very old post).  Here is what I wrote before:  Yes, one of my all time favorites and very early influences, I have seen HR and Bad Brains several times and he even invited me into his touring vehicle while he was being interviewed before a show and then gave me a live video disk he had procured from a fan w/o permission to film, that used to be quite popular on my old Youtube site.  He has never done a bad show that I have seen.  He is a very wise Rastafarian and either feeds off good energy present or flings the bullshit right back.  Anybody seen the 'Finding Joseph I" film from last year was it?

I checked the Dischord records website to see if these albums were still in print and didn't look like it.  However, we are in synch as the band is touring U.K. this month after many years!  They will have copies of the fourth LP for sale.  I saw them in 1987 and HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you try to go see this legendary band.  Something about subtle, emotive and restrained sound that makes the audience go wild!!  I will let the post expire to be fair.  Top Ten live band for me.
