Michele, pronounced ‘mi-shell’, is an English female given name that comes from the French Michèle. It is a variant spelling of the more common (and identically pronounced) name Michelle.

Michele ([ˈmikɛle] mee-KEH-leh), is also an Italian male given name, akin to the English male name Michael.

Both names derive from the Latin Michael referring to archangel Michael, and originally derive from the biblical Hebrew name מיכאל (pronounced mi-kha-el) meaning "Who is like God?".

Michele Bravi

Michele Bravi (born 19 December 1994) is an Italian pop singer. He rose to fame after winning the seventh series of the Italian X Factor. His coronation song, "La vita e la felicità", was penned by Tiziano Ferro and, after being released as his debut single, it reached the top spot of the Italian Singles Chart. Bravi's debut album, A passi piccoli, was released in June 2014.

Career

Michele Bravi was born on 19 December 1994 in Città di Castello, a city in the province of Perugia, in Central Italy, to Giovanna Machi and Stefano Bravi. He has a sister, Marta, which is three years older than him. He started singing as a child, when he joined the city choir, but he later decided to quit. During his studies at the liceo classico, Bravi's interest in music persisted, even if it was just a hobby. He later started to take music lessons, and he learnt to play piano.

In 2013, Bravi auditioned for the seventh edition of the Italian talent show X Factor, performing Cat Steven's "Father and Son". After being chosen by Morgan as a contestant for his category, "Boys Under 25", Bravi reached the final of the competition and, on 12 December 2013, won the competition, beating runner-up band Ape Escape. During the competition, Bravi performed the song "La vita e la felicità", co-written by Tiziano Ferro, which was later released as his debut single. During its second week, the single reached the top spot of the Italian Singles Chart. The song was also included in the extended play with the same title, released by Sony Music on 13 December 2013.

Frank De Mulder

Frank De Mulder (born 22 August 1963 in Ghent) is a Belgian Photographer.

Early life

De Mulder got his first camera from his father at the age of 12 and became soon addicted to the “silver” image in the darkroom. At 17 he started to copy the photos of David Hamilton, invested all his pocket money in photo equipment and learned by books the world of light and photography. He studied film direction at RITS in Brussels and continued his studies in Ghent at the Royal Art Academy, where he graduated cum laude.

Career

He started his career as a cameraman and director of photography in several short movies and commercials. At the age of 29 he decided photography was his real passion. Since then he worked his way up to photographer working for large advertising campaigns and well known magazines, including Playboy, FHM, and GQ.

Today, he is best known as a nude art photographer. He is also known by the teNeues publishing of his books, containing the intimate impressions of female emotions and beauty.

Chrisette Michele

Chrisette Michele Payne (born December 8, 1982), known professionally as Chrisette Michele, is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter. She was signed to the Motown Records but recently left in order to sign herself under her own label Rich Hipster. She has also won a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance in 2009 for her song "Be OK".

Early life

Michele was born in Central Islip, New York, and grew up in Patchogue. Her father was a sociologist and her mother a psychologist. Michele led gospel choirs in high school. She attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York, and graduated with a vocal performance degree.

2006–08: Musical beginnings and I Am

Michele has been featured on several hip hop albums. She is on The Game's album LAX on "Let Us Live". On Jay-Z's Kingdom Come she was featured on the second single "Lost One", while on Nas' Hip Hop Is Dead, she was featured three times: on the album's second single "Can't Forget About You", the Kanye West-produced "Still Dreaming", and the final track "Hope". She also appeared on the bonus track "Slow Down", from Ghostface Killah's The Big Doe Rehab.
