Numbers (Woe, Is Me album)

Number[s] is the debut album by American metalcore band, Woe, Is Me, released on August 30, 2010 through Rise Records and its imprint division, Velocity. A re-release of the record was released on July 16, 2012 with the band's new line-up due to the departure of Tim Sherrill, Tyler Carter, Michael Bohn and Cory and Ben Ferris. Number[s] was produced by Cameron Mizell in his Orlando, Florida hometown.

Release and deluxe reissue

Upon the release of Number[s], it charted at number 16 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, selling 1,700 copies in its first week. Two songs were released before the album itself: "[&] Delinquents" on July 29, 2010, and "Mannequin Religion" on August 20, 2010. The demo versions of three songs, "Hell, or High Water", "If Not, for Ourselves", and "I." had also been previously released. It is the last album to feature lead guitarist Tim Sherrill, given his departure from the band during the following year, as well as vocalist Tyler Carter, given his departure from the band in August 2011. A re-issue of the album released July 17, 2012 featuring new vocalist Hance Alligood and former vocalist Michael Bohn as current vocalist. Doriano Magliano was yet to join the band at the time of its recording.

Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana-Perego (born Zoe Yadira Saldaña Nazario; June 19, 1978),Zoe Saldana (/sælˈdænə/ sal-DAN-ə), is an American actress and dancer. Following her performances with the FACES theater group, Saldana made her screen debut in an episode of Law & Order (1999). Her film career began a year later with Center Stage (2000), followed by a role in Crossroads (2002). She first gained some prominence for her role as Anamaria in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).

Saldana's breakthrough came in 2009 with the roles of Nyota Uhura in Star Trek and Neytiri in James Cameron's Avatar (2009). The latter film received widespread acclaim, and is the highest-grossing film of all time. Early life

Saldana was born Zoe Yadira Saldaña Nazario in Passaic, New Jersey. Her father, Aridio Saldaña, was from the Dominican Republic, while her mother, Asalia Nazario, is from Puerto Rico. Saldana also has Haitian and Lebanese roots. She has often spoken of her pride in her ethnicity, and has said: "It doesn't matter how much backlash I will get for it; I will honor and respect my black community because that's who I am." The majority of her early childhood she spent growing up in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York, and her native languages are both English and Spanish. She has two sisters, named Cisely and Mariel, and a half-brother named Nipo, known as "Nipo 809", who is a Dominican artist and producer.

Tide

Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of gravitational forces exerted by the Moon, Sun, and rotation of the Earth.

The times and amplitude of tides at a locale are influenced by the alignment of the Sun and Moon, by the pattern of tides in the deep ocean, by the amphidromic systems of the oceans, and the shape of the coastline and near-shore bathymetry (see Timing). Some shorelines experience a semi-diurnal tide - two nearly equal high and low tides each day. Other locations experience a diurnal tide - only one high and low tide each day. A "mixed tide"; two uneven tides a day, or one high and one low, is also possible.

Tides vary on timescales ranging from hours to years due to a number of factors. To make accurate records, tide gauges at fixed stations measure the water level over time. Gauges ignore variations caused by waves with periods shorter than minutes. These data are compared to the reference (or datum) level usually called mean sea level.

"High Water (For Charley Patton)" is a song by Bob Dylan, released on his 31st studio album "Love and Theft" in 2001. The song draws its title from the Charley Patton song "High Water Everywhere", and is meant as a tribute to that bluesman. It is one of many songs based on the 1927 Louisiana flood. Other songs about the event include Memphis Minnie's "When the Levee Breaks" (also recorded by Dylan on his Modern Times album as "The Levee's Gonna Break"), and Randy Newman's "Louisiana 1927".

The song directly quotes three classic American songs in the last two verses, first the traditional ballad "The Cuckoo" with the line:

"The cuckoo is a pretty bird
She warbles as she flies."

Robert Johnson's "Dust My Broom" with the line:

"I'm getting up in the morning
I believe I'll dust my broom."

Charlie Pattons " Shake it and break it" with the line:
