Matthew Charles "Matt" Mullenweg (born January 11, 1984) is an American online social media entrepreneur, web developer and musician living in San Francisco. He is best known for developing the free and open source web software WordPress, now managed by The WordPress Foundation. His professional blog is ma.tt, a domain hack.
After dropping out of college and working at CNET Networks from 2004 to 2005, Mullenweg quit that job and founded Automattic, the business behind WordPress.com (which provides free WordPress blogs and other services), Akismet, Gravatar, VaultPress, IntenseDebate, Polldaddy, and more.
Since 2005 Mullenweg has been a frequent keynote/speaker at conferences/events, including global WordCamp events, SxSW, Web 2.0 Summit, YCombinator's Startup School, Le Web, Lean Startup Conference, and the International World Wide Web Conference etc.
Mullenweg was born in Houston, Texas, and attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he studied jazz saxophone.
Timothy "Tim" Ferriss (born July 20, 1977) is an American author, entrepreneur, angel investor, and public speaker. He has written a number of self-help books which have appeared on the New York Times bestseller, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller lists, starting with "The 4-Hour Workweek".
Ferriss is also an angel investor or an advisor to Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Evernote, and Uber, among other companies.
Ferriss grew up in East Hampton, New York and graduated from St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. He received a degree in East Asian Studies from Princeton University in 2000 (after switching from Neuroscience in an effort to "avoid putting printer jacks on cat heads"). After graduation, Ferriss worked in sales at a data storage company. Ferriss began building his own Internet business, BrainQUICKEN, while still employed at the company.
Ferriss has stated that, prior to his writing career, he won in the 165 lb. weight class at the 1999 USAWKF national Sanshou (Chinese kickboxing) championship through a process of shoving opponents out of the ring and by dramatically dehydrating himself before weigh in, and then rehydrating before the fight in order to compete several classes below his actual weight - a practice known as "Weight cutting".

http://onewayticket.io One of the most interesting things about the digital nomad scene is how varied the people in it are. I've now interviewed couples traveling together and working remotely for companies back home, attorneys who moved their entire law practice online, and developers bootstrapping their own companies from anywhere. This week, I want to showcase the stories of two people who have evangelized nomads and remote work. With one building a 400-person company around digital nomadism, and the other writing the celebrated guidebook that would inspire many to try the working nomad lifestyle. They're Matt Mullenweg from WordPress and Tim Ferriss who wrote The 4-Hour Workweek. WordPress is now the engine behind 22% of all websites. The company behind Wordpress is Automattic, whic...

Matt Mullenweg's annual "State of the Word" keynote, as delivered at WordCamp San Francisco 2009
I can't be satisfied
what you want me to do
and so I moan
had to leave my home.
Love my gull oooh yeh
she got to save my soul
I want a witness I want to testify.
CHORUS How long can this go on ?
All night long I was howling
I was a barking dog
