Tumbling dice

This is one of those magical princess dresses that I wish I could wear every single day. I was reorganizing my closet and decided I should absolutely dress it down and wear it. It's hot so, the jean vest was the easiest way for me to make it casual. Not only is this dress ridiculously beautiful, but it's also REALLY fun. I kept swirlin' around and letting the skirt catch in the wind. I probably looked a little crazy, but who cares?

I went and saw The Big Sick the other night and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm a sucker for a smart romantic comedy and this hit all the right points. Top notch cast, perfect writing, and it's based on a true story. Go see it, you won't regret it.

American Living

When my sister moved to New Zealand, I inherited some clothing that she couldn't squeeze into her suitcase. This jumper was one of them. I wasn't sure that I could pull off a jumper, but I instantly fell in love with it. My sister always wore this with a red and white shirt. I tried copying her look and instead ended up dressing like a Mime. It's cool though 'cause Mimes are cool and I think I really pulled it off.

Here comes my man

Ah! Blog, how I've missed thee. My photographer aka my boyfriend has been working on ALL of his days off and by the time he gets home, we don't have time to snap pictures. All my friends work late too and honestly, no one captures my outfits quite like my boyfriend. So, here I am, almost three weeks without blogging. This certainly was not my intention, but it's nice to get dressed without the pressure of creating a blog worthy outfit sometimes too.

The summer months always fly by and I honestly can't figure out where the time goes. Last week, Pretty Little Liars ended forever. I've been watching it for so many years that I'm actually quite sad. It hasn't always been the best show, but it's always been a favorite of mine. My friends and I had a little party with an A shaped pizza, a cake about the show, and we filled out finale questionnaires. We take television very seriously and now I have nothing to do on Tuesday nights.

I was in search of a new summer black slip-on shoe. Instead, I found these and I couldn't resist. They look perfect on and with everything. They're a bit stiff, so I'm hoping they loosen up very soon because I am not about uncomfortable shoes. I am, however, in love with these. I recently thrifted this Material Girl skirt and like all MG clothing, it's perfect. It's one of the few department store brands that I feel is made for me.

Past Summer Favorites

Summer is always a little hard to adjust to as it's so hot and humid in Ohio. I decided to look back on past Summer favorites for some inspiration. Plus it's always fun to see my different hairstyles. While going through posts for this, I realized I only wear mint/blue shades in the summer. Maybe I'll look for some of those while gaining inspiration.
