Two Gun Annie From Diablo Is Featured On "Ridin' The Hollywood Trail"
Will Ryan will be entering his 30th year as a series regular on the radio show “Adventures in Odyssey” in 2017. In that weekly series (daily in many markets) he has performed more than 100 characters – more than any other actor in the show’s history. 2017 is also his 32nd year as the voice of Willie the Giant for the Walt Disney Company, making Will the longest-running continuous-character voice actor for Disney currently working, other than Katherine Beaumont, the original voice of Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. He performed the voice of Peg-Leg Pete in the Oscar-nominated animated film “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and 30 years later he reprised the role in the also-Oscar-nominated Mickey Mouse short, “Get a Horse!”, which ran with every print of the record-breaking hit “Frozen”. In this 3-D Mickey short, Will had the highly unusual job of working opposite Walt Disney as the voice of Mickey Mouse! Will was also the voice of Peg-Leg Pete, among other characters, in “Duck Tails”, which was part of the line-up of “Disney Afternoon”, and played several personalities, including a herd of Ogres in the first of the Disney animated television series ever broadcast, “Disney’s Gummi Bears”.
Will Ryan’s voice can be heard in more feature roles in more Oscar-winning films than perhaps any other actor, including such other favorites as “The Land Before Time”, “The Little Mermaid” and “Thumbelina”.
On television and radio, he’s been heard in over a thousand episodes of too many programs to list here. He was the voice of Tigger and Rabbit and the singing voice of Eeyore on the long-running Disney Channel’s “Welcome to Pooh Corner”, which ran at twice a day for seventeen years. His book “Duke and Me” is a whimsical memoir of his Army years, i.e., recording the voices of various team members in the original “G.I Joe” animated series for Marvel Productions.
Will’s recent book “Adventures in Oddity”, co-authored book with Katie Leigh, concerns some of his work in radio and television. Another recent tome “The Tiny Little Book of Cowboy Haiku” from Oxnard University Press, will see a French edition in 2017. Seriously.
Will Ryan & the Cactus County Cowboys has released five CDs, with another due before Christmas. He performs regularly with Will Ryan & the Saguaro Sisters at The Autry Museum of Western Heritage. Will has written over 100 songs for Disney’s and for the Jim Henson Company, and hundreds more for others. His songs have been recorded by Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the gang; Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and the gang; The Cat-In-The-Hat, Horton the Elephant, the Grinch and the gang; the Pointer Sisters, the Saguaro Sisters, Patti LaBelle, et al. Among the "others" are such voice-over greats as Clarence Nash, Hal Smith, Janet Waldo, Walker Edmistun, Lorenzo Music and June Foray.
Will’s Internet series “Elmo Aardvark: Outer Space Detective!”, a co-production between SnappyToons Amusement Company and Renegade Animation, was the Internet’s first weekly animated series. It won Will an Annie Award for Best Song and an Annie nomination as creator of the Best Series in an Electronic Medium. Will also received an Emmy nomination as producer of “The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss” for Nickelodeon. He has two Gold Records from the R.I.A.A. and a Pioneer Award from BMI for his song-writing. He’s a long-time member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and serves on several committees there when he’s not busy learning to swing dance.

One VERY windy Sunday, Jenny, Daisy and Tessa headed out to Briggate in Leeds to sing a few songs to the Sunday shoppers! The sun briefly came out at the end of this song though!
The wonderful Julian Dyer (www.footlambert.co.uk) took some lovely footage throughout the afternoon, and the marvellous Leeds University Swing Society came and did a bit of Lindy Hop too!
'Pennies From Heaven' was written by Arthur Johnston and Johnny Burke in 1936. Many artists have covered it, including The Andrews Sisters, whose version is beautiful, but not particularly well known. We Honeybirds thought we'd change that!

I heard the sounds of bag pipes outside my windows this afternoon, the eve of the anniversary of the 911 attacks.....getting closer and closer. I walk to my porch to find an old veteran walking my street in Royal Oak playing the bag pipes. It made me stop to think and appreciate my loved ones. R.I.P to all of the American Heros who have sacrificed their lives for our country to keep us Americans free and safe at home. I

Afternoon
Afternoon is the time of the day between noon and evening. It is the time when the sun is descending from its zenith in the sky to somewhat before its terminus at the horizon in the west direction. In human life, it occupies roughly the latter half of the standard work and school day. It is also associated with a number of concerns related to health, safety, and economic productivity: generally, the early afternoon, after most people have eaten lunch, corresponds to decreased work performance, decreased alertness, and a higher incidence of motor vehicle accidents.
Terminology
Afternoon is the time occurring between noon and evening. The specific range of time this encompasses varies in one direction: noon is currently defined as a constant 12:00 pm, but when afternoon ends is dependent on when evening begins, for which there is no standard definition. However, before a period of transition from the twelfth to fourteenth centuries, noon instead referred to 3 pm—possible explanations include shifting times for prayers and midday meals, along which one concept of noon was defined—and so afternoon would have referred to a narrower timeframe.

Will Ryan
Will Ryan is an American voice actor, singer and comedian, probably best known for his voice work in the Christian radio drama Adventures in Odyssey.
Biography
After growing up in Cleveland, Ryan is well known for singing about the American West.
In summer 1966, Will's earlier band, Wead, played a gig in Wellington, Ohio. Appearing on the same bill was Akron-based girl-group The Poor Girls, featuring 17-year-old Chrissie Hynde.
In late 1970s he teamed up with Phil Baron as Willio and Phillio. They had regular gigs on television, radio and comedy clubs and universities throughout the U.S.. They later paired up again voicing characters of best friends Teddy Ruxpin (Baron) and Grubby the Octopede (Ryan) in the Teddy Ruxpin book and tape series as well as the 1987 television show The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin. In August 2002, Willio and Phillio returned to Cleveland for two performances, at historic Cain Park and two days later at the famed Beachland Ballroom. At the Cain Park show, friend Alec Nordstrom of Hudson was invited onstage. Cleveland's revered rock critic and "world's oldest teenager," Jane Scott, attended and reviewed the Beachland performance for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The Willio and Phillio act brought Ryan back into music and after moving to California, he began to write and record songs for The Walt Disney Company.

History
In 1999, LCA leased facilities from Frisco Bible Church. The church agreed to house the school in its new building which was under construction, and in September 1999 with approximately 120 students in Kindergarten through 9th grade, LCA began its first school year.
Legacy Christian Academy opened in early September for the 2002-2003 school year at its current location of Legacy and Academy. During that school year, the gymnasium and cafetorium were completed. Legacy was given permission to begin the accreditation process, and in 2003 became accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
In 2004, a field house and athletic fields including a football field, a baseball & softball field and a seven lane track were added.

Two Gun Annie From Diablo Is Featured On "Ridin' The Hollywood Trail"
Will Ryan will be entering his 30th year as a series regular on the radio show “Adventures in Odyssey” in 2017. In that weekly series (daily in many markets) he has performed more than 100 characters – more than any other actor in the show’s history. 2017 is also his 32nd year as the voice of Willie the Giant for the Walt Disney Company, making Will the longest-running continuous-character voice actor for Disney currently working, other than Katherine Beaumont, the original voice of Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. He performed the voice of Peg-Leg Pete in the Oscar-nominated animated film “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and 30 years later he reprised the role in the also-Oscar-nominated Mickey Mouse short, “Get a Horse!”, which ran with every print of the record-breaking hit “Frozen”. In this 3-D Mickey short, Will had the highly unusual job of working opposite Walt Disney as the voice of Mickey Mouse! The wonderful Julian Dyer (www.footlambert.co.uk) took some lovely footage throughout the afternoon, and the marvellous Leeds University Swing Society came and did a bit of Lindy Hop too!
'Pennies From Heaven' was written by Arthur Johnston and Johnny Burke in 1936. Many artists have covered it, including The Andrews Sisters, whose version is beautiful, but not particularly well known. We Honeybirds thought we'd change that!
