Liberty, in philosophy, involves free will as contrasted with determinism. In politics, liberty consists of the social and political freedoms enjoyed by all citizens. In theology, liberty is freedom from the bondage of sin. Generally, liberty seems to be distinct from freedom in that freedom concerns itself primarily, if not exclusively, with the ability to do as one wills and what one has the power to do; whereas liberty also takes into account the rights of all involved. As such, liberty can be thought of as freedom limited by rights, and therefore cannot be abused.
Philosophers from earliest times have considered the question of liberty. Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius (121–180 AD) wrote of "a polity in which there is the same law for all, a polity administered with regard to equal rights and equal freedom of speech, and the idea of a kingly government which respects most of all the freedom of the governed." According to Thomas Hobbes, "a free man is he that in those things which by his strength and wit he is able to do is not hindered to do what he hath the will to do" (Leviathan, Part 2, Ch. XXI).
TLC is an initialism that normally refers to the phrase "tender loving care", however is also used for "time, love and care".

Dana Elaine Owens (born March 18, 1970), professionally known by her stage name Queen Latifah, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, model, television producer, record producer, comedienne, and talk show host. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she signed with Tommy Boy Records in 1989. In November 1989, she had released her debut album All Hail the Queen (1989), featuring the hit single "Ladies First" with Monie Love. Latifah released her second album Nature of a Sista (1991), which was her final album with Tommy Boy Records.
In 1993, Latifah starred as Khadijah James on the FOX sitcom Living Single, from 1993 to 1998. Her third album Black Reign (1993), which went gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and peaked at number 60 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also includes the hit single "U.N.I.T.Y." which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance in 1994 and hit the Billboard Hot 100. Latifah starred in the lead role of Set It Off (1996) as Cleopatra "Cleo" Sims, alongside Jada Pinkett-Smith. Between 1996 and 2000, controversy between Latifah and Foxy Brown received widespread media attention. She released her fourth album in 1998 Order in the Court (1998) with Motown Records. Queen Latifah gained mainstream success after appearing in Chicago (2002) as Matron "Mama" Morton and she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, losing to Catherine Zeta-Jones.

MC Lyte (born Lana Michelle Moorer; October 11, 1970) is an American rapper who first gained fame in the late 1980s, becoming the first solo female rapper to release a full album with 1988's critically acclaimed Lyte as a Rock. She has long been considered one of hip-hop's pioneer feminists.
Lyte was born Lana Michelle Moorer in 1970. Raised in Brooklyn, Lyte began rhyming at the age of 12. One long-standing misconception is that Lyte is the younger sister of Milk D and DJ Giz, Audio Two.
In 1987, when she was 17, Lyte began schooling other MCs in the art of rhyme; since that time, she has improved upon her musical prowess, with a total of ten albums released to her credit. In September of the following year, she released her first album, Lyte as a Rock, noted for such hits as "Paper Thin" and the battle rap "10% Dis", a response from then-Hurby Azor associate, Antoinette. Both rappers released battle records against each other. Lyte followed her debut with 1989's Eyes on This, which spawned the hits "Cha Cha Cha" and "Cappucino". Both albums were notable for Lyte's uncensored lyrical matter. She sweetened up a little on 1991's Act Like You Know, noted for its new jack swing sound and the hit single "Poor Georgie". Lyte's fourth album, 1993's Ain't No Other, became her first to reach gold status and was notable for her first top 40 pop hit, "Ruffneck". An inspiring 1993 classic anthem, "Ruffneck", was eventually nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Single, and in fact, made MC Lyte the first female solo rapper ever nominated for a Grammy. She later went on to become a featured artist on hits by Janet Jackson and Brandy.
Various Black Female Artist's Come together to record Black Woman's Athem " Freedom"
TLC contributed to the Theme from Panther, 'Freedom'. This was an epic combination of over 60 of the mid-90's female R&B; and Rap artists including Mary J Blige, Queen Latifah, SWV, Salt-N-Pepa, Aaliyah and Monica, to name a few. There were two versions included on the release, one concentrated on the R&B; artists and another concentrating on the rap artists. TLC featured on both versions, with T-Boz & Chilli on the first, and Left Eye contributing a rap to the second. I have merged these two parts together, and made TLC the most featured artists of the song, but with a few of the other ones included, such as Mary J Blige.
