Jakarta /dʒəˈkɑːrtə/, officially known as the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (Indonesian: Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota Jakarta), is the capital and largest city of Indonesia, (though Jakarta is also a province) and one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world.

Indonesia: Jakarta School Brawl - 101 East On the streets of Jakarta, Indonesia, hundreds of middle and high school pupils arm themselves with deadly weapons to fight rival gangs from other schools. These brawls can last for hours, leaving blood and bodies in their aftermath. The violence is extreme, but the motivations are muddy. In this episode of 101 East, we talk to the teenagers on the frontline, their parents, teachers and the police about why so many otherwise regular kids are willing to fight and even kill their fellow pupils. - Subscribe to our channel: http://aje.io/AJSubscribe - Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AJEnglish - Find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aljazeera - Check our website: http://www.aljazeera.com/

As Indonesia's economy grows, so is the gap between rich and the poor. With elections due in July, the economy is likely to be a key issue for many voters. The government admits that the growing divide is a problem that needs to be addressed soon. Opposition parties are trying to reach out to poor people, saying they will improve their lives. Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen reports from Jakarta.
Hey Guys! Welcome to my new video! This was the beginning of my yearly trip to my homeland (Yes, Every summer I fly back to the US to see family and friends and stuff). This Year, I chose to fly Qatar airways to the USA and back. The total route was CGK-DOH-IAD and JFK-DOH-CGK. I hope you enjoy the video, and I would like to apologize for a little quality drop for this video -- it was a night flight. But I figured I had to show you the dreamliner! Hopefully you enjoy the video anyway! Next trips: IAD-SFO on a United Airlines Boeing 737-900 SFO-IAD on a Virgin America Airbus A320 JFK-DOH-CGK on a Qatar airways Boeing 787-8 Deamliner AND Airbus A350-900XWB! Thanks so much for watching! Cheers, The Airliner
The Singapore Airlines A350 XWB flight experience from Jakarta to Singapore. How's it feels like if you fly on a new aircraft type which launched recently? This A350 aircraft is just less than 1 year old. The new futuristic aircraft provides a convenient ambience of the cabin as next generation comfort. Besides the aircraft, the Singapore Airlines service remains great. Only the meal was not good until I almost throw up! Thank you for watching my video. Welcome to this Garuda Indonesia trip report! Sorry It's been so long since the last trip report, I left my computer somewhere and had to wait about a month to get it back. Also, if you hadn't figured it out already, because I have been on so many Garuda Indonesia flights, I am trying to make a GA trip report every 2nd trip report. Mini review of the flight: The meal was great, they called it beef, but it really tasted like bacon. really tasted great. The airport was not busy at all, and it was very easy to get though check-in and security, and boarding was pretty easy. In bali they were doing some construction so I couldn't see the plane. You could tell the 20 years of age for the plane, like how you could see through the whole in the roof. I hope you enjoy the video! -The Airlin...

Jakarta Travel Guide: Jakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia, located on the northwest of the island of Java. Jakarta is the country's economic, cultural and political centre and the most populous city not only in Indonesia but in Southeast Asia as a whole. Despite of the heavy traffic and heavy pollution the city is filled with exciting nightlife and vibrant shopping areas. The city is also the centre and melting pot of Indonesian culture which might be the thing for you to enjoy Jakarta. One excellent surprise you'll find in Jakarta is that once you past the taxi drivers who offer their services at the airport and really meet the locals, you will find that the people are among the most friendly, hospitable, and helpful people you'll find on earth, if you keep away from th...

Not really a tourist's guide - more of a of a quick glance at the Indonesian capital. We see how bad the traffic is, go on a few bike rides, see some storms and see a huge atlas moth. Jakarta is our new home for the next few years....
►Jakarta Travel Guide for Food Lovers: http://migrationology.com/travel-guides/jakarta-indonesia/ A couple years before I started ever making food and travel videos, I visited Indonesia, and it was one of the most amazing places, both in terms of food, natural scenery, and people, that I have ever visited. And I always knew I needed to come back again to visit Indonesia, this time with my camera. We only had a couple weeks, so rather than try to rush from one place to another (although I’d love to visit many more islands and cities throughout Indonesia), for this trip, my wife and I just decided to spend our time in Jakarta to really get a feel for the city and its amazing blend of food. We started off at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, the budget airline airport, where you’l...

In this movie from our trip through Indonesia, you will see all kinds of highlights from Java and Bali. After landing in Jakarta we quickly go to Gunung Halimun National Park. We stay at home with a local guide and visit a tea plantation, a tea factory and of course the surrounding jungles. It takes us 2 days to get from Citalahab (in Halimun) to get to Pangandaran beach. Here we learn to surf, take a swim in the Green Valley and visit a traditional Wajang puppet maker. From Pangandaran we head to Yogyakarta by train and visit the Borobudur temple. From Yogyakarta we travel to the magnificent Bromo volcano and its surroundings, followed by the even more stunning Ijen volcano. After these long days we have some relaxing time on the route to Sukamade. In the evening we found a turtle on the...
Nasi Uduk Betawi is an Indonesian Betawi style of coconut rice. To eat this meal, I went to a restaurant called Zainal Fanani in Jakarta, that serves a traditional version. The rice was wonderfully fragrant and the fried chicken was tasty. Also, check out my Jakarta travel guide for food lovers: http://migrationology.com/travel-guides/jakarta-indonesia/
License Video: http://dissolve.com/products?media_type=video&producer;=Pete+R&sort;_by_date=true Updated: Made the video a little more concise and the music a little bit more interesting and not repetitive. Take a deep breath and go on a journey around South East Asia through leech-infested jungles, abandoned temples, and colorful coral reefs. It was a 2 months trip that gone by so fast, like taking one deep breath. This is no ordinary "inspiring" travel video. For this, I decided to go with a much more fun and action-packed style instead of the usual go-to "inspirational" travel style that I like to do.. and a delicious "disco" music. Everything is better with disco music. :) I also experimented on many ways of shooting and framing and I think most of the footages came out really well. ...
Diving onboard the Black Manta throughout Raja Ampat (Indonesia and West Papua) by way of Sorong (West Papua). There were so many dives and amazing footage capture that is was impossible to compress it all into a six minute video (I'll be editing more). Nevertheless, some footage is also from other regions such as Bali and Central Java (Borobudur--Mahayana Buddhist temple once thought to be mere legend, only to be rediscovered buried deep beneath volcanic ash and jungle growth.) Interestingly enough, the facts surrounding it's abandonment centuries ago still remain a mystery yet the rise of Hinduism and later Islam, as well as the countless active volcanoes surrounding within close proximity come to mind. And the Prambanan (Hindu Temple) with it's tall and pointed architecture reaching high...
Come on let's reason

When they rape my sister sister
They kill my mother mother
