Taquería (pronounced: [takeɾ'ia]) is a Spanish word meaning taco shop or place that makes tacos. Originally, a taquería was typically a street vendor; however, today many taquerías are restaurants that occupy buildings.
As tacos are an integral part of traditional Mexican cuisine, shops selling them have proliferated throughout Mexico and other areas with a heavy Mexican culinary and cultural influence, including much of the Western United States and most other larger American cities. More typical taquerías specialize in tacos, as expected, but in some localities it can be used to refer to restaurants specializing in burritos , where tacos themselves are less of a point of emphasis.
Mexico City (Spanish: Ciudad de México audio American Spanish: [sjuˈða(ð) ðe ˈméxiko]; abbreviated as "CDMX") is the capital of Mexico. Mexico City is the country's largest city as well as its most important political, cultural, educational and financial center.
As an "alpha" global city Mexico City is one of the most important financial centers in the Americas. It is located in the Valley of Mexico (Valle de México), a large valley in the high plateaus at the center of Mexico, at an altitude of 2,240 metres (7,350 ft). The city consists of sixteen municipalities (previously called boroughs).
The 2009 estimated population for the city proper was around 8.84 million people, with a land area of 1,485 square kilometres (573 sq mi). According to the most recent definition agreed upon by the federal and state governments, the Greater Mexico City population is 21.2 million people, making it the largest metropolitan area in the western hemisphere, the eleventh-largest agglomeration, and the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world.

This week, Dining on a Dime host Lucas Peterson continues this season of culinary exploration of San Francisco with the Mission-style burrito. It’s not what you might think, though: What La Taqueria (voted best burrito in the country by FiveThirtyEight) does is, rather, a classic riff on an the Mission-style burrito. Owner Miguel Jara dispenses with the overstuffed-with-rice classic in favor of a pared-down version: meat, pinto beans, avocado, and salsa. The restaurant also specializes in tacos and quesadillas, and has incredible homemade hot sauces. Eater is the one-stop-shop for food and restaurant obsessives across the country. With features, explainers, animations, recipes, and more — it’s the most indulgent food content around. So get hungry. Subscribe to our YouTube Channel now! ht...
This taqueria is a Mexico City's most successful taco institutions. It essentially sells 5 or 6 different types of tacos, and not much more other than sodas and a traditional fermented pineapple drink called tepache. This place sells upwards of 400 lbs. of tacos in one single night, and their largest market is the drive-thru business, but a bit different from the American style... they have a huge parking lot, and people drive in and a waiter comes to take their order and they bring it to the car. These tacos are outstanding.

Brittney Payton takes the Renegade up to North Center for an enormous al pastor burrito.
And when I think of you
I hope we make it through
And when I think I'm strong
You let me know I'm wrong
Everything we ever did
It somehow complicated it
And somehow now we've lost our grip
You've always had me right where you want me
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
And when I think of me
And how it used to be
I was so different then
I don't know where to begin
Everything we ever did
And somehow now we've lost our grip
You've always had me right where you want me
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
(You, always. You, always)
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
You, you got me hoping this gets better
You, you got me wrapped around your finger
