Extending Townsville’s tourist reach

The Queensland Government and SeaLink are exploring an exciting tourism opportunity in Townsville to develop a new ferry terminal and integrated transport hub.

Maryborough fire station

Hyne Timber is preparing a detailed proposal to design and build a fire station and emergency response centre in Maryborough made from engineered timber products. The project will showcase a developing building material; using Queensland grown timber to create a structure that will continue Maryborough’s historical relationship with the timber industry.

Queensland Aquarium and Maritime Museum

The Queensland Aquarium and Maritime Museum (QAMM) consortium is preparing a detailed proposal to redevelop the existing Queensland Maritime Museum and build a new, world-class aquarium on Brisbane’s South Bank.

Mount Cotton driver training centre

The RACQ is proposing to transform an aging government asset into a first-class driver safety training facility which will help save lives on the road if this proposal gets the green light.

The Prince Charles Hospital car parks

Car park operator International Parking Group has proposed to resolve The Prince Charles Hospital’s car parking needs by building two multi-storey car parks which will provide 1,500 bays, as well as office accommodation for 500 staff.
