I had been reminiscing about the days of going to punk shows (for me the mid 90s). I remembered i had shot this video back in my college days.
This was probably one the last shows i went to at the fireside.
Avail has since parted ways. http://www.availavail.com seems to have updated info about them.

Avail
Avail was a punk rock band from Richmond, Virginia. Originally from Reston, Va. the band formed in 1987, its members including Joe Banks, Doug Crosby, Brien Stewart, and Mikey Warstler. The only original remaining member, guitar player Joe Banks, teamed up with rival band LDK's (Learning Disabled Kids) Tim Barry. They moved to Richmond in 1990, and soon, after numerous line up changes, put together a solid lineup to release their first album "Satiate" in 1992. Many of their lyrics center on Richmond. The band released six studio albums.
The band has never officially disbanded, but has not released new material since 2002 and not played live since late 2007.

Lookout Records
Lookout Records was an independent record label, initially based in Laytonville, California and later in Berkeley, focusing on punk rock. Established in 1987, the label is best known for having released the seminal album of Operation Ivy and the first two albums by platinum-selling punk artists Green Day and for having pioneered the American pop-punk sound of the 1990s.
Following the departure of co-founder Larry Livermore in 1997, new ownership took the company in new sonic directions from its trademark "East Bay sound" but proved unable to match the label's early success. In 2005 the label ran into financial difficulties after several high profile artists rescinded the rights to their Lookout! Records material. After a period of rapid contraction the label slowly expired, terminating operations and removing its music from online distribution channels early in 2012.
History
Background
During the fall of 1984 Larry Livermore (née Larry Hayes), a resident of the small town of Laytonville, California of countercultural proclivities, felt the urge to opine about the problems of his community and the world in a small-circulation periodical. Thus in October of that year was launched a circulation magazine called Lookout, the first issue of which was typed and photocopied with a "press run" of just 50 copies. Opposition emerged to the controversial local topics upon which Livermore opined and so he turned to the theme punk rock, a form of music he had followed in the late 1970s.

Sticky Fingers interview at the Annandale Hotel
In between rehearsals MusicFeedsTV met with Sticky Fingers at the Annadale hotel. Their gig at the Annadale hotel this Friday 6th of July will show off a number of new compositions and is set to go off in the usual chaos that the band has becoming renowned for. The title single from their highly anticipated début album "Caress your soul" is due for release this Friday. With a smooth production treatment on the track the band is still work shopping the song for live performance. Despite being ranked number 8 on the Unearthed radio charts the band gives little credence to the song's position instead seeing the channel as a good platform for listeners to get a free download of their music. In between rehearsals MusicFeedsTV met with Sticky Fingers at the Annadale hotel. Their gig at the Annadale hotel this Friday 6th of July will show off a number of new compositions and is set to go off in the usual chaos that the band has becoming renowned for. The title single from their highly anticipated début album "Caress your soul" is due for release this Friday. With a smooth production treatment on the track the band is still work shopping the song for live performance. Despite being ranked number 8 on the Unearthed radio charts the band gives little credence to the song's position instead seeing the channel as a good platform for listeners to get a free download of their music. They would much prefer people enjoy their music live and get down and party.
Sometimes described in genre as Reggae surf music, the eclectic nationalities of the band include Kiwi, British, Maldy, Brazilian and first fleet, leading them to describe themselves quite harshly as mongrels. Struggling to find a platform for the music the band took matters into their own hands and during the Newtown festival setup their own music stage at a nearby house Guerrilla style to spark interest in nearby attendees. The stunt pulled dividends with Sticky Fingers being added to the bill the following year.
"Growing up and partying in Newtown we always wanted to play the festivals. We submitted an application for the first 2 years but got knocked back. Then on the 3rd year we decided that, well we have a mate Jacob who has a backyard which is virtually inside the festival. So we just got a bunch of milk crates and plywood and setup a stage in the backyard, hired out a sound system and unofficially headlined the festival from the back yard..... The following year they invited us back for a prime spot on the main stage"

Producer Dan Hulme happened to see the specticle and enjoying the band's raw energy offered to produce their new album. Asking for multiple parts for each instrument Sticky Fingers feel that Hulme has really put his stamp on the bands music although these ideas reflected what the band were going for as well.
