The Ball is a Caroline comedy by James Shirley, first performed in 1632 and first published in 1639.
The Ball was licensed for performance by Sir Henry Herbert, the Master of the Revels, on 16 November 1632. Herbert, however, was not happy with the play: in a note in his office book dated two days later, 18 November, he complained that the play showed "diverse personated so naturally, both of lords and others of the Court, that I took it ill, and would have forbidden the play" — but impresario Christopher Beeston promised Herbert that everything that Herbert disliked in the play would be fixed before performance. The desired changes must have been made satisfactorily, since the play was acted by Queen Henrietta's Men at the Cockpit Theatre.
The 1639 quarto publication of the play, printed by Thomas Cotes for the booksellers Andrew Crooke and William Cooke, caused confusion in subsequent generations of critics, since the title page attributes the play to both Shirley and George Chapman. The play, a light comedy of manners, is entirely like the style of Shirley, and nothing like the style of Chapman. Most scholars now think that the dual attribution is simply a mistake, a point of confusion by the publishers: The Tragedy of Chabot, Admiral of France, a Chapman play that had been revised by Shirley, was printed in the same year by the same house.
Spider-Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics existing in its shared universe. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko, and first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. Lee and Ditko conceived the character as an orphan being raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and as a teenager, having to deal with the normal struggles of adolescence in addition to those of a costumed crime-fighter. Spider-Man's creators gave him super strength and agility, the ability to cling to most surfaces, shoot spider-webs using wrist-mounted devices of his own invention, which he calls "web-shooters", and react to danger quickly with his "spider-sense", enabling him to combat his foes.
When Spider-Man first appeared in the early 1960s, teenagers in superhero comic books were usually relegated to the role of sidekick to the protagonist. The Spider-Man series broke ground by featuring Peter Parker, the high school student behind Spider-Man's secret identity and with whose "self-obsessions with rejection, inadequacy, and loneliness" young readers could relate. While Spider-Man had all the makings of a sidekick, unlike previous teen heroes such as Bucky and Robin, Spider-Man had no superhero mentor like Captain America and Batman; he thus had to learn for himself that "with great power there must also come great responsibility"—a line included in a text box in the final panel of the first Spider-Man story but later retroactively attributed to his guardian, the late Uncle Ben.
In modern popular fiction, a superhero (sometimes rendered super-hero or super hero) is a type of heroic character possessing extraordinary talents, supernatural phenomena, or superhuman powers and is dedicated to a moral goal or protecting the public. A female superhero is sometimes called a superheroine (also rendered super-heroine or super heroine). Fiction centered on such characters, especially in American comic books since the 1930s, is known as superhero fiction.
By most definitions, characters do not require actual supernatural or superhuman powers or phenomena to be deemed superheroes. While the Dictionary.com definition of "superhero" is "A figure, especially in a comic strip or cartoon, endowed with superhuman powers and usually portrayed as fighting evil or crime," the longstanding Merriam-Webster dictionary gives the definition as "a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers; also : an exceptionally skillful or successful person". Terms such as masked crime fighters, costumed adventurers or masked vigilantes are sometimes used to refer to characters such as the Spirit, who may not be explicitly referred to as superheroes but nevertheless share similar traits.
Fun is the enjoyment of pleasure, particularly in leisure activities. Fun is an experience — short-term, often unexpected, informal, not cerebral and generally purposeless. It is an enjoyable distraction, diverting the mind and body from any serious task or contributing an extra dimension to it. Although particularly associated with recreation and play, fun may be encountered during work, social functions, and even seemingly mundane activities of daily living. It may often have little to no logical basis, and opinions on whether or not an activity is fun may differ. A distinction between enjoyment and fun is difficult but possible to articulate, fun being a more spontaneous, playful, or active event. There are psychological and physiological implications to the experience of fun.
The word is associated with sports, high merriment, and amusement. Although its etymology is uncertain, it may be derived from fonne (fool) and fonnen (the one fooling the other). Its meaning in 1727 was "cheat, trick, hoax", a meaning still retained in the phrase "to make fun of".

Genres: Comedy,The Ball Family has taken the basketball world by storm thanks to Lonzo, Liangelo, and Lamelo Ball's game on the court and Lavar Ball's talk off the court. Lavar is definitely a character. You may not agree with everything Lavar says and does, as he's often purposely controversial, but you have to agree with the fact that so far he has been a marketing genius. What the family is trying to do by taking control of their own branding and by being indipendent rather than being owned by a bigger brand is a unique, inspirational, bold, and a pioneer move, which could start a new era and a new way of branding for athletes.. So far his sons haven't played a single game in the NBA. Will Lavar have the last laugh? We'll see.. In the meantime get familiar with the Ball family going behind the scenes ...

"The Ball Pit Show" was designed to entertain kids while teaching them about colors. In the video you will see three toddlers (Taika, Saima and Aisla) playing in a ball pit in a playroom and having loads of fun. The color of each ball is identified by Taika; the very young toddler Saima also has a go at color identification too. Although intended for kids, it should be fun for the whole family. We went to Chino Hills to see how the most talked about family in all of basketball celebrates Christmas. Hint: it's just as action-packed as their play on the court.

If I hadn't dropped the ball, I would've took it all the way
Homecoming '89 with ten seconds left to play
We were drivin' toward the goal line, they were screamin' in the stands
I had the chance to be a hero but it slipped right through my hands
There would've been a big pep rally
They would've hung my jersey on the wall
If I hadn't dropped the ball
Me and Cindy Miller were supposed to meet after the game
I waited by the bleachers, but she never came
I found a note on my windshield, underneath the wiper blade
With goodbye bleedin' through it in the cold October rain
We probably would've gotten married
And those recruiters in from 'Bama would've called
If I hadn't dropped the ball
My life would've been so different if in that instant
Things had gone the way I planned
But the fact is that they didn't and the hand I wound up getting
Is something that I'll never understand
I ran away that summer, took a job out on the coast
And that's where I met your mama, and the rest I guess you know
If I had the chance to go back and score that last touchdown
Well, son, I wouldn't do it, 'cause you wouldn't be here now
And I wouldn't be your hero
I wouldn't be around to catch you when you fall
If I hadn't dropped the ball
My life would've been so different if in that instant
Things had gone the way I planned
But the fact is that they didn't and the hand I wound up getting
Is the one that God intended me to have
No, I wouldn't be the man I am at all
