The Australian Saltwater crocodile is the world’s largest terrestrial carnivore growing up to 6 metres in length and weighing up to 1000 kilos. Intrepid natural historian and real-life ‘Crocodile Dundee’ Steve Irwin, journeys to Australia’s far north to try and capture a nuisance crocodile and teach it a lesson before releasing it back into the wild. Steve Irwin
Stephen Robert "Steve" Irwin (22 February 1962 – 4 September 2006), nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter", was an Australian wildlife expert, television personality, and conservationist. Irwin achieved worldwide fame from the television series The Crocodile Hunter, an internationally broadcast wildlife documentary series which he co-hosted with his wife Terri. Together, the couple also owned and operated Australia Zoo, founded by Irwin's parents in Beerwah, about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of the Queensland state capital city of Brisbane.
Irwin died on 4 September 2006 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming an underwater documentary film titled Ocean's Deadliest. The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ship MY Steve Irwin was named in his honour.
Early life
Irwin was born on his mother's birthday to Lyn and Bob Irwin in Essendon, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. He is of Irish descent on his father's side. He moved with his parents as a child to Queensland in 1970, where he attended Landsborough State School and Caloundra State High School. Irwin described his father as a wildlife expert interested in herpetology, while his mother Lyn was a wildlife rehabilitator. After moving to Queensland, Bob and Lyn Irwin started the small Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park, where Steve grew up around crocodiles and other reptiles.

The Tonight Show
The Tonight Show is an American late-night talk show broadcast from the Rockefeller Center in New York City and airing on NBC since 1954. It is the world's longest-running talk show, and the longest running, regularly scheduled entertainment program in the United States. It is the third-longest-running show on NBC, after only the news-and-talk shows Today and Meet the Press.
Over the course of more than 60 years, The Tonight Show has undergone only minor title changes. It aired under the name Tonight for several of its early years, eventually settling on The Tonight Show after the seating of long-time host Johnny Carson in 1962. In later decades, network programmers, advertisers, and the show's announcers would refer to the show by including the name of the host; for example, it is currently announced as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 1957, the show briefly tried a more news-style format. It has otherwise remained a talk show throughout its run.
The Tonight Show began broadcasting in 1954. It has had six official hosts, beginning with Steve Allen (1954–57), followed by Jack Paar (1957–62), Johnny Carson (1962–92), Jay Leno (1992–2009, 2010–14), Conan O'Brien (2009–10), and Jimmy Fallon (2014–present). It has had several recurring guest hosts, a practice especially common during the Paar and Carson eras.

Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas "Jimmy" Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, television host, actor, singer, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and raised in Saugerties, New York. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue stand-up opportunities.
He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005). Following his film career, Fallon returned to television as the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC in 2009, where he became well known for his emphasis on music and games. He transitioned from that program to become the sixth host of the long-running The Tonight Show in 2014.

The Australian Saltwater crocodile is the world’s largest terrestrial carnivore growing up to 6 metres in length and weighing up to 1000 kilos. Intrepid natural historian and real-life ‘Crocodile Dundee’ Steve Irwin, journeys to Australia’s far north to try and capture a nuisance crocodile and teach it a lesson before releasing it back into the wild. Set against the colouful backdrop of Australia’s Top End, this film shows that these often ferocious man-eaters have a gentler side that make them caring lovers and devoted parents.

Steve Irwin literally grew up surrounded by dangerous critters being raised by his parents on Beerwah Reptile Park in Queensland Australia. Steve Irwin literally grew up surrounded by dangerous critters being raised by his parents on Beerwah Reptile Park in Queensland Australia. That footage eventually became the pilot for The Crocodile Hunter TV show and began the world’s fascination with Steve Irwin.
Sadly in 2006, Steve was attacked not by a crocodile but by a wild stingray who punctured his chest and pierced his heart which was captured on film. The footage has since been destroyed.

Steve Irwin literally grew up surrounded by dangerous critters being raised by his parents on Beerwah Reptile Park in Queensland Australia. He took over management of the park in the 1991 after returning from years in the bush studying crocodiles. One day while doing a demonstration he met a visiting American tourist named Terri Raines. The next year they were married and Steve and Terri spent their honeymoon doing the most romantic thing possible, filming themselves messing around with giant crocodiles.
That footage eventually became the pilot for The Crocodile Hunter TV show and began the world’s fascination with Steve Irwin.
Sadly in 2006, Steve was attacked not by a crocodile but by a wild stingray who punctured his chest and pierced his heart which was captured on film. The footage has since been destroyed.
