A supreme court is the highest court within the hierarchy of many legal jurisdictions. Other descriptions for such courts include court of last resort, instance court, judgment court, apex court, and highest court of appeal. Broadly speaking, the decisions of a supreme court are not subject to further review by any other court. Supreme courts typically function primarily as appellate courts, hearing appeals from decisions of lower trial courts, or from intermediate-level appellate courts.
However, not all highest courts are named as such. Civil law states do not tend to have singular highest courts. Additionally, the highest court in some jurisdictions is not named the "Supreme Court", for example, the High Court of Australia; this is because decisions by the High Court could formerly be appealed to the Privy Council. On the other hand, in some places the court named the "Supreme Court" is not in fact the highest court; examples include the New York Supreme Court, the Supreme Courts of several Canadian provinces/territories and the former Supreme Court of Judicature of England and Wales, which are all superseded by higher Courts of Appeal.

"Do I" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released in May 2009 as the lead-off single from his album Doin' My Thing. Bryan co-wrote the song with Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley of the group Lady Antebellum, whose co-lead singer Hillary Scott is featured on background vocals.
Bryan told CMT that, "the song is about a couple that doesn't know if their worlds are right with each other, or they don't know how their relationship's going down hill".
The song is in the key of A major, with Bryan's vocals ranging from C♯4 to F♯5.
Stephen M. Deusner of Engine 145 gave the song a thumbs-down. Although he described the lyrics favorably by saying that "the scenario is all the more affecting for its mundanity" and "'Do I' implies no hint of a happily ever after, and that ambiguity gives the lyrics extra impact", Deusner criticized Bryan's vocal performance, saying "it never quite conveys much desperation or despair. There’s no worry in his voice, nor does it sound like he’s trying to keep a stoic front." Chris Neal of Country Weekly described the song favorably in his review of the album, saying that it "shows a knack for convincingly delivering hymns to thwarted love."
Lee Ryan is the debut and only solo studio album to be released by Blue band-member and singer, Lee Ryan.
Ryan revealed on ITV2 documentary The Big Reunion that soon after the break-up of Blue, he was approached by record executives to pursue a solo career. Shortly after, Ryan hooked up with producer Hugh Goldsmith to help him produce and write his debut album. Ryan released his debut single, "Army of Lovers", on July 18, 2005. It debuted at #3 on the UK Singles Chart, and also peaked at #1 in Italy. The album itself was released on August 1, 2005, to mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. The album peaked at #6 on the UK Albums Chart, and also managed to reach #3 in Italy. Shortly after, Ryan released his second single, "Turn Your Car Around", which was also moderately successful. January 2006 saw the release of the album's third single, "When I Think of You", which peaked at #15 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Ryan's last release from the album in the United Kingdom.

By: James Tully MECHANICSBURG, Pa. -- People who are finding themselves in over their head with medical costs are turning to a new method to keep from filing bankruptcy, instead of relying strictly on government programs to keep them afloat. It's called internet crowdfunding. Lori Mardis feels like she's been losing a nearly five-month long battle. With her father's skyrocketing medical costs piling up, and his income just barely disqualifying him from assistance, Lori is turning to the internet -- and the kindness of strangers -- to help defray some of the costs. "From Nov. 7 I've been fighting this phone call after phone call to different places. Sometimes you get different stories, from the same place you get different quotes, it's crazy," Lori said. The legislators bought the argument by corporations that frivolous litigation was hurting the economy. Of course, as you might expect, the economy tanked even though the legislature enacted tort reform laws. So, once again, the government created a problem and then solved it. The real effect of tort reform laws was to limit the ability for injured people to be compensated for their injuries. This protects corporations and mainly insurance comp...

The problems might be something you can easily resolve. Make sure your premiums are up to date and paid. And remember, the worst thing you can do is ignore the bill. Many insurance plans are complicated, but it’s worth taking the time to figure them out. Learn the plan’s financial risks, and what medical needs it will cover. Co-pays and high deductible...

Finding The Best Auto Insurance Rates shouldn't Be Hard! 7 Types of Car Insurance: Which Ones Do You Need? 1. Liability Insurance When your state requires that you carry some sort of insurance for your car, they’re usually looking for liability insurance. In the event that you are in a car accident and the police decide it is your fault, liability insurance covers the cost of repairing any property damaged in the crash (such as cars or buildings), as well as the medical bills from resulting injuries. Most states have a minimum requirement for liability insurance coverage that you absolutely must have. However, it usually makes sense to go beyond that minimum requirement if you can afford the payment. That’s because you are personally responsible for any claims that exceed your coverag...

AmericasVoiceNow.org | facebook.com/AmericasVoiceNow 4/9 4of4 share please So which is it? No more Healthcare in 2014 or not?... The HHS's own site says you can obtain coverage after the cutoff date but they tell you otherwise. (see the story below this one). Sowing confusion and chaos is a part of making everyone feel that dependency on gov't is the only way to be truly protected. This is nothing short of PROPAGANDA. A false-flag media event to herd the cattle in the direction they want you to go. If you truly cannot buy insurance outside the ACA then it is even more unconstitutional than originally thought. Now not only are you forced to engage in commerce to exist, but if you didn't do what you were told, now you'll be punished from being able to obtain coverage which will inevitably l...
This should never have happened. My medical bills have piled up over the last five years because of this type of beurocracy, even when I was supposedly covered by Tricare. I remember once I was trying to see someone outside the VA. I got on the phone with the regional Tricare rep, upper management. She said everything was taken care of, go see the doctor, while I was in the doctors office. Well I got a bill for the full amount. Things like this have cause great worry and depression for me when they should have been taken care of from day one. When I don't fill out paperwork properly I am the only one to blame and the suffering is mine. When they do, time and time again, there is no accountability. What they do, or choose not to do, forget to do, or improperly do, effects pe...

At 8am, we talked with Dr. Michael O’Neal, Founder of Cooperative Med. This is a concierge medical practice in Tampa Bay and is a growing trend in the medical community. In short, concierge medical doctors become a personal patient advocate, filling the role of the primary care doctor through an annual membership fee. Patients can go as often as needed and can reach the Doctor via phone, email and text. The patients that take advantage of concierge medicine received longer visits and much more personalized service and the idea is that insurance should be used for larger, catastrophic events, not primary care doctors. As the burdens of insurance grow, many medical doctors are beginning to practice this form of medicine and it is no longer a perk of the upper classes. Dr. O’Neal founded the ...

Many people don't realize that going to the doctor is a business transaction like any other. When you need a consultation or even a surgery, the medic will offer their services in exchange for your payment, and this makes it possible that there'll be overcharges or inaccuracies that you should look out for, and even allows you to negotiate. First of all, you must know exactly what your health insurance. When you do, you can make sure you get the most of it - failing to get a contracted rate for a surgery for instance, can cost you tens of thousands of dollars more than you should pay. When you need medical service, make sure to contact your insurance company so you can know whether they'll help covering the costs or not. These prices are called "reasonable & customary." Then, you should ...
