Greece ,Thessaloniki – Responsibility claim on March 14/ 17 by anarchists

Thessaloniki – Responsibility claim
There have been successive repressive attacks against anarchist centres by the state and its mercenaries recently. From the disconnection of the water at the 111 squat in Thessaloniki, the evictions of Villa Zografou and Drakopouleio in Athens, to the cop invasion of Agrinio social centre, nothing will go unanswered.
We support squatting as a means of struggle against sovereignty and any authority whether established by law or not. It comes as the conscious choice of not working for some boss so as to pay some other landlord. We build our relations on solidarity, acting anti-hierarchically and with self-management, satisfying our needs and fulfilling our desires without mediators.
We plant honest bonds of trust through common experience. Knowing about the general social circumstances of alienation we don’t have any illusions, but we live our desires here and now, trying to survive in the modern metropolis and the rotten uniformity of the urban scenery. Alongside the above, squats are focal points of resistance against normality and the struggle against any form of authority.
Tuesday morning, on March 14, we approached E.Y.A.Th., which is stationed in Kamara and threw paint, flyers and wrote slogans. We chose to attack that company symbolically as a minimum response to the cutting off of the water of 111 squat. This particular company, making profits from the exploitation of natural resources, has recently adopted hard-line policies, disconnecting water in places, squatted or not, and increasing rates.

NOT ONE EURO MUST BE PAID

Germany , Hamburg: Solidarity with G20-Prisoners

 Actforfree Received on 06.08.17
On the website “linksunten.indymedia.org”, somebody posted a short note that a car of a private security company called “Personen-Objekt-Werkschutz GmbH” has been set on fire in the night of the 3rd of August.
Whoever posted this, whoever committed this act, didn`t have to much to say about this action, and this is good.
The burning of a car of these filthy private cops stands for itself.
It is good news for all those who seek to attack this shitty system of exploitation and domination and, as it said in the post on the website, a warm and angry sign of solidarity to those held captive in the prisons of Hamburg, accused of having taken part in the revolt against the G20 summit in the beginning of July.
A few days before, anarchists painted signs of solidarity on roofs and walls around the city, pictures of these beautiful acts on vandalism can be seen in the link below.
Let the fire of revolutionary solidarity spread,
freedom for all!

Chile: Repression and Revolt in Venezuela

Repression and revolt in Venezuela: An outstretched hand for the compañerxs, a closed fist for the enemy

In Venezuela, mass protests against the socialist government of Nicolás Maduro have been developing for more than three months.
More than one hundred dead and hundreds of demonstrators detained and tortured at the hands of the Venezuelan police is the current balance of the street agitation that has dominated the political agenda in the Latin American region and even beyond.
The deepening social conflict in Venezuela has a number of interesting edges to address for those of us who are interested in spreading the hostilities against all forms of government and power. Among them, we can find at least two variables:
1-The hypocrisy of the democratic states that via the Organization of American States are calling for intervention in Venezuela due to “the serious violations of people’s freedom” by the government. As if in their own territories, in states such as the US, Mexico, Colombia and Chile there exists freedom and respect for what they call “human rights” in the language of power.

Saint-Malo, France: Anarchist Comrade Damien Camélio Seriously Assaulted & Detained by Police

The comrade Damien Camélio, who was just released from Fleury-Mérogis prison on June 29, was subjected to detention and a serious beating by police officers Grenot, Remond, Cuzon and Lercorvaisier at Saint-Malo from the night of Saturday, July 29, 2017 to Sunday, July 30, 2017.
After 36 hours in police custody the comrade was released with serious injuries and an order to attend court in Saint-Malo to be judged for contempt and resisting on 13.03.2018 at 13h30.
Statement of the comrade:
I got out of Fleury a month ago and had still not had the opportunity to celebrate my release with my partner. Last Saturday we went to the cinema, then after dropping the kid at his grandmother’s house we went out for a drink at the L intra-Muros (Translation note: L intra-Muros is a restaurant in Saint-Malo).
As Saint-Malo is a small town you can count the places to go out on the fingers of one hand. Due to lack of choice, we went to dance to a rotten jukebox with shit music. But we didn’t care, we just wanted to be a bit cheerful after months of being separated (years even, if you count my previous 2 sentences).

Turin, Italy – Protests and deportations at the local CPR [migrant’s first reception centre]

It’s midday and anyone  inside the CPR on Corso Brunelleschi can see huge clouds of smoke rising in the sky. Three mattresses and some blankets piled up near the Area Blu door are burning. What triggered the anger was the attitude of the guards at the centre as they refused to take an eighteen-year-old boy to hospital after he broke his wrist while playing football. Soon the fire is extinguished with hydrants and the cops are quick to take out of the Area, through the door blackened by fire, the person allegedly responsible for the arson: a couple of prisoners are beaten and several others are put in solitary confinement.
A few hours later, in the dead of the night between Wednesday and Thursday, huge numbers of soldiers, finance police and cops storm several areas in order to seize 13 Tunisians, some just arrived in Italy by sea and transferred to Turin from Palermo. In the centre foreground there is already a van waiting for them ready to take them to an airport – probably Malpensa – where a flight to Tunisia is scheduled early in the morning.

Padua, Italy – Violent charges and arrests at the demo against neo – fascist Forza Nuova. Freedom for all

Tomorrow at 11am gathering outside the court in Padua for the release of those arrested
18 / 7 / 2017
Over five hundred antifascists demonstrated today against Forza Nuova’s presence in the city of Padua. The neo-fascist party had announced a demo against Ius Soli, which according to early plans was to go through one of the main roads of the city centre, from piazza Mazzini to piazza Garibaldi. The public callout for an antifascist demo along with several forms of pressure from below on the city’s institutions relegated Forza Nuova to piazza Antenore.

Italy , Genoa: Solidarity gathering with the arrested for G20 in Hamburg (06/08/2017)

On Sunday, 6 of August, a solidarity gathering will take place in Hamburg, in front of prison of Billwereder, where some of the arrested during the G20 day are imprisoned. At the same time, in Genoa, we call on a solidarity gathering with the arrested to show them our closeness and support.
SUNDAY, 6 AUGUST, 6 P.M. — SAN LORENZO SQUARE — GENOA
Freedom for all!
A CONTRIBUTION TO THE EVENT
“For the plague-stricken their peace of mind is more important than a human life. Decent folks must be allowed to sleep easy o’ nights, mustn’t they? Really it would be shockingly bad taste to linger on such details, that’s common knowledge. The bad taste remained in my mouth and I’ve kept lingering on the details, brooding over them.” Albert Camus, The Plague
On July 7th, 2017, begun the G20, another international summit, as many are held during the year, when a handful of world leaders meets to sit around a table, to pleas each other, sipping fine wines, talking about how to split the pillage of the lifeless planet that we live on. So, it happens that an Europe-wide neoliberal, Macron, shakes the hand with the genocidal dictator Erdogan in a well-furnished lounge while they shell agree on the strategies of suppression and violent repression of migratory transit routes from Turkey to west Europe; it happens that a nice conservative, Merkel, laughs at jokes of a racial rapist, Trump, while they decide how to devastate the ecosystem and poison the atmosphere beyond the point of no return; it happen that an authoritarian nationalist oligarch, Putin, receives a pat on the shoulder from the puppet Gentiloni while the first one gives few cubic meter more of methane in exchange of silence on the occasion of a next Crimea, or the next homophobic and murderous law. All this happens, each day in the year, all year long.
The Plague is raging, while the good people are sleeping
Many years have passed since the riots in Genoa, Seattle, Heiligendamm, they think there is nothing to fear. That protest movement is dead, they say. The notorious “globalization”, which in those years was the threat of an uncertain future, today it is the present, so present that is almost impossible to imagine a life without it. Everything we use, we eat, drive o dress, everything is produced in slavery elsewhere, by others that we do not perceive and recognize as person, we are not interested in their destinies, they can not affect our dormant consciences.

TO THE INTERNATIONAL ANARCHIST MOVEMENT – ITALY

Florence, April 21, 2016:  someone attacked the carabinieri barracks in Rovezzano, the Florentine suburbs, with a molotov.
Florence, January 1, 2017 an explosive device placed outside the bookshop “Il Bargello” near Casa Pound explodes in the hands of a policeman who is severely injured.
Following these two anonymous attacks, on the morning of August 3, 2017, eight comrades are imprisoned.
The anarchists: Marina Porcu, Micol Marino, Pierloreto Fallanca (Pasca), Giovanni Ghezzi, Roberto Cropo, Salvatore Vespertino, Sandro Carovac, Nicola Almerigogna.
These comrades have been notified of accusations of attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece,  fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks.
The names of the main inquisitors to have coordinated the investigations are:
Spina Eugenio (senior executive of the State police, head of counter-terrorism).
Pifferi Lucio (head of the D.I.G.O.S. in Florence).
Creazzo Giuseppe  (chief prosecutor of Florence).
As anarchists we are not interested in knowing who did these actions, valid, concrete, alive. The Italian State after the continuation of Op. Scripta Manent, again strikes refractory comrades, who believe that direct, non-mediated and destructive action is a fundamental means of anarchist revolutionary struggle.

Lecce, Italy – Police operation against La Caura Squat

We receive by email, translate and spread:
On Thursday 3rd August at 6:30am the Digos of Lecce and an antiterrorism special squad (UOPI) wearing balaclavas and armed with machineguns stormed La Caura Squat (Roca-Lecce). The police forced those present to lie face down on the floor, then took a comrade, Paska, away who is now being held in the Lecce prison.
The episode occurred at the same time as that at La Riottosa in Florence, where another 7 comrades were arrested, while one was arrested in Rome. The police operation refers to an explosive attack on  ”Il Bargello” [neo-nazi] bookshop, a Casapound place, in Florence (1st January 2017), when an incompetent bomb disposal expert was injured, and to an incendiary bottle against the carabinieri barracks in Rovezzano, Florence (21st April 2017).
The police chief of Lecce immediately took the chance to threaten the new squat (La Caura), opened just ten days ago, with eviction, as happened with La Riottosa.
At around 2pm about thirty people went outside the prison in Lecce in solidarity for a quick greeting to the prisoners. And another gathering is to take place today 4th August at 6pm.
Solidarity with Micol, Marina, Sandro, Nicola, Roberto, Paska, Giovanni, Vespertino.
Freedom for all.
The current addresses to write to the comrades are:

Greece , Athens – Call for solidarity gathering for Anarchist Panagiotis Z. on Thursday 3 August at Syntagma sq. at 19:00

INSURRECTIONARY VIOLENT STRUGGLES…

On Tuesday, 25th July 2017, in an organized police operation, dozens of State Security Police arrested anarchist comrade Panagiotis Z. outside a friend’s home, following an “anonymous” phone call naming him as perpetrator of an arson attack against a vehicle of the fire department following a general strike demonstration in 2012. Throughout the following day, there was a strong presence of solidarity comrades, all the way from Evelpidon courts to the Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal (Loukareos), where, through brief procedures, the comrade was detained under the ridiculous pretext of not having a permanent residence. In addition, during the clashes that broke out with the cops, two other solidarity comrades were arrested.
The comrade’s arrest as well as its timing is far from coincidental. At a time when the social majority is being increasingly enslaved to the demands of economic tyranny, and social and class contradictions are exacerbated, the state machine is called to handle a multitude of challenges that threaten domestic capitalist normality, including the growing action of anarchists, the internal enemy of democracy. The uprisings of immigrants in detention centers and the ongoing mobilization in Greek prisons constitute expressions of the social conflict that is raging. The people of insurrection and anarchy that did not capitulate with the left-wing government but remained a dangerous enemy of the state and authority, are being attacked by the regime’s forces, whose interests – in spite of their inter-authoritative conflicts and skirmishes – converge on crushing anarchists. Thus, the diffusion of

Editorial
July 2017
To be in conflict with power doesn’t mean to be gene rally hostile towards power. The hostility towards power begins with scepticism – the scepticism questioning its existence and necessity. A rational matter, on the one hand, which persuades us to  develop  rational  analyses about the functioning and transformations of pow er. Although purely abstract, whereas the putting into practice of our hostilities towards power also means to move on to speaking about oneself and about considering one’s own life as the field of projection for the own ideas. An irrational matter, on the other hand, a mat ter of heart, a matter of acting, an individual moment of rupture. A rupture, which overcomes the passive attitude of scepticism and creates by means of the own ideas and comrades projects that are attempting to push the hostility towards power in the direction of a permanent revolt and a generalised rupture with authority.
In the development of mutual projects also always arises a moment of “we”, a moment of identity, which is kept together by a minimal common perspective. A “we” that with good reason induces the sceptics to prick up their ears. Constructing a “we” is a matter, which often springs out of the will for power, prestige and norms.
Because if something like an anarchist identity is existing – on what is it based? What is constituting the movement, which is taking up this name? The number of groups, followers and spaces – a matter of structure? Or the ideas, the history, the discussions – and there fore the theory? Or the attacks and the forms of action, which the hostility against authority is taking on – so rather the practice? Or all together?

Brussels news about the court case against 11 anarchists.

On 1/08/2017, the Council Chamber of Brussels delivered its decision about which charges will be prosecuted in criminal court against 11 anarchists. Before a judgment was issued, a press release from the justice department was already circulating. The articles which followed in the mainstream media only contained mistakes, mixing this investigation with the later one centred around the struggle against the maxi-prison*, referring to facts that occurred outside the period concerned by this investigation and were ultimately totally mistaken about the charges which finally stuck in the Council Chamber.
First of all, the Chamber abolished in all instances the accusation of terrorism. Both as an aggravating factor, where the Federal Prosecutor’s Office had attached it to a specific offense, and as the charge of participation in a terrorist group. The Chamber then abolished a number of charges which it considered to not be supported by enough evidence to justify their referral to the criminal court, including the charges of the attack on the police station in the Marolles, the burning of several cars of prison guards in the parking lot of Ittre prison, the manufacturing of false pay slips, shoplifting in supermarkets, incitation to commit terrorist offenses (re-qualified firstly as “incitation to crimes and misdemeanors”, but then thrown out because of its prescription).

Greece, Athens: Taking responsibility – The burning of a SKAI journalist’s car on18/4/17 by Action Cell/Metropolis Fallen – FAI/IRF

Taking responsibility – The burning of a SKAI journalist’s car

“As long as necessity is socially dreamed, dreaming will remain a social necessity. The spectacle is the bad dream of a modern society in chains and ultimately expresses nothing more than its wish for sleep. The spectacle is the guardian of that sleep. “
Guy Debord

We are taking responsibility for placing an incendiary device on G.Papahristos’ car outside his house at agios dimitrios, at dawn on 18/4.

G.Papahristos is a piece of human garbage of the journalist circles. His career is similar to others of his ilk. A political all-rounder who, in each period, is called upon to offer his services to the relevant authoritarian interests, be they political or economic, as his professional ventures, from the ‘green’ DOL to the neo-liberal SKAI, demonstrate.

But what is the institutional role of the journalist?

For us the journalist makes up a crucial part of the ideological mechanism of the media of mass deception, which is called upon to serve the interests of the state and the capital. Their main service to the afore-mentioned interests is given through the cultivation of fear and the embellishment of certain situations, the means to achieve this is through misleading misinformation in order to create their own concept of reality. In greek ‘democracy’ where freedom of speech hypothetically predominates, as if by magic the ‘pluralism of opinions’ seems to be heading towards that of the political and economic elite. As a result ‘public opinion’ is being dictated by the news and information that the criers of the media circles spread, always aimed at the safety of and lethargy towards the power of the state,  helping to  expand its security regime and more.

Abraham Cortés is free!
Update received on July 26:
This afternoon we received a phone call from compañero Abraham Cortés in which he told us that after more than three years in prison he is finally out after being granted early release.
We’re very pleased to share this news, as Abraham was rebellious prisoner during his entire time in prison, a compañero who always maintained a combative stance in the face of imprisonment.
Yet there are compañeros who remain behind prison walls…the struggle continues until we’re all free.
Anarchist Black Cross – Mexico
Fernando Bárcenas is out of isolation
According to the latest update from the Anarchist Black Cross – Mexico, on July 26 Fernando was transferred to general population thanks to the pressure and mobilization of individuals and collectives in solidarity. Below is another public letter from Fernando, dated July 25.

Italy , Lecce – Shamelessly by the sea poster :

We liberated a space situated on the coastline in the Roca Vecchia area (Lecce).
There will be an info point with materials where we can discuss, talk, make presentations and projections on the issues we care most about. We’ll be talking about nocivities, the struggle against exploitation, against the different faces of imprisonment and repression, against the fury imposed on those who come here from the ‘wrong’ countries.
There’s a great deal of interest on what’s going on in this territory, to understand what kind of harmful and devastating work they want to build up by trampling on the environment and the people, for the struggle against the new monster TAP, which has already had very intense moments and will need strength in the long run.
The space will welcome those who come from distant areas and are interested in knowing more and self-organizing in the opposition against the TAP. We decided to do it without submitting ourselves to the prices and rules of the tourism market.
You are all invited on Friday 28th July from 7pm to have aperitifs together and start knowing one another better.

Demo outside Unione Sarda yesterday
 28th July 2017
Yesterday afternoon a demo was held outside Unione Sarda. The initiative was called by an assembly formed on the occasion of the week of solidarity and had a large participation; at half past 3pm about fifty people gathered in the foreground of the premises of the main regional daily, after about an hour the demonstrators moved in the premises chanting slogans against prison. Soon alarmed private security and journalists came over, followed by carabinieri. The demo went on for another hour without significant problems and then dispersed, not only because of the heat…

Davide Delogu, imprisoned in Augusta, has started a hunger strike!
Torture, attempted murder, instigation to commit suicide: a typical story of detention.
Following a complained to the Surveillance Tribunal in Cagliari we learned about the conditions and abuse inflicted on our friend and comrade Davide Delogu, imprisoned in Augusta (Siracusa). For many years Davide has been complaining about the fact that he’s being inflicted a prison regime more like torture than detention.
Published on 27th July 2017
Davide is on hunger strike
We learn that Davide started a hunger strike today.
The main reason seems to be the fact that Davide was refused a photo of a dear comrade recently passed away, one who was very close to Davide.
Not having further info we can just re-launch with more and more strength a call for solidarity with Davide and the struggle he’s carrying out against the inhuman conditions they are imposing on his life.
Today we also learned about the result of the complaint Davide filed to the surveillance judge, of which a hearing was held last week (on 18th July). The complaint was met only in part, as Davide was granted to spend the two hours in the exercise yard no longer alone, thus breaking the total isolation in which he had been locked up in recent months.
News will follow.

Sardinia,Italy – Prison of Augusta: Anarchist comrade Davide Delogu on hunger strike (26/07/2017)

Sardinian anarchist comrade Davide Delogu starts today, 26 July, a hunger strike against the solitary confinement, and primarily because they don’t want to give him the photos of Donatello*.
He remains with head held high.
He shouts out “Break the isolation!!
Sempre Ainnantis [“always forward” in Sardinian]
Davide Delogu — Contrada Piana Ippolito 1 — 96011 Augusta (SR) — Italy
*Sardinian anarchist comrade Donatello Dedoni died on 20 march 2017, falling off the roof of an abandoned plant in the industrial area of Elmas in Sardinia. In a tragic moment the roof caved in and the comrade felt down. Who met Donatello knew how much he was precious as friend and as comrade, always ready to take a challenge with courage and enthusiasm. He paid his inclination to action with several imprisonment, and he always came out with head held high and with no regrets.
