Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE (/ˈkaɪliː mᵻˈnoʊɡ/; born 28 May 1968), often known simply as Kylie, is an Australian-born singer, songwriter, and actress. She achieved recognition starring in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, where she played tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. Appearing in the series for two years, Minogue's character married Scott Robinson (Jason Donovan) in an episode viewed by nearly 20 million people in the United Kingdom making it one of the most watched Australian TV episodes ever. Since then, Minogue has been a recording artist and has achieved commercial success and critical acclaim in the entertainment industry. Minogue has been recognised with several honorific nicknames including "Princess of Pop" and "Goddess of Pop". She is recognised as the highest-selling Australian artist of all time by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Minogue has for many years worked and lived in London. She signed to PWL in 1987 and released her first studio album Kylie the next year. In 1992, she left PWL and signed with Deconstruction Records and where she created her self-titled studio album and Impossible Princess, both of which received positive reviews from critics. Returning to more mainstream dance-oriented music, Minogue signed to Parlophone and released "Spinning Around". Her 2001 single "Can't Get You Out of My Head" became one of the most successful singles during the 2000s, selling over ten million units. It is recognised as her "signature song" and was named "...the catchiest song ever" by Yahoo! Music. Her album Fever (2001) was a hit in many countries, including the United States. Throughout her career, Minogue has released many successful singles, including "The Loco-Motion", "Especially for You", "Hand on Your Heart", "Better the Devil You Know", "Confide in Me", "Spinning Around", "Slow", "2 Hearts" and "All The Lovers".

All I See

"All I See" is a song performed by Australian recording artist and songwriter Kylie Minogue from her tenth studio album X (2007). The song was written by Jonas Jeberg, Mich Hedin Hansen, Edwin "Lil' Eddie" Serrano and produced by Jeberg and Cutfather. It was released digitally as a lead single in North America on 11 March 2008. The song was released to American radio formats on 15 April 2008. A version featuring rapper Mims was released to radio formats and included as a bonus track on the American edition of X.

Musically, the song is a R&B song. The song contains an interpolation taken from "Outstanding", written by Raymond Calhoun and performed by The Gap Band.

Release

To promote the single and the album in the United States, Minogue appeared on several television programmes. On 31 March 2008, she appeared on the Today show for an interview with Matt Lauer. On 1 April, Minogue performed "All I See" live on Dancing with the Stars. On 7 April 2008, Minogue appeared and performed "All I See" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The single was particularly released in the US and in Canada to boost Minogue's image in the States, as it appeared she had a low profile, but the song only managed to peak at number 3 in the US dance charts.

All the Lovers is a song recorded by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue for her eleventh studio album, Aphrodite (2010). One of the last songs to be recorded for the album, "All the Lovers" was written by Jim Eliot and Mima Stilwell and produced by the former. Stuart Price, the executive producer of Aphrodite, was responsible for additional production and mixing of the song. Minogue felt "All the Lovers" summarised the "euphoria" of the album perfectly and chose it to be the lead single from Aphrodite. It was then globally released by Parlophone as a CD single and digital download on 11 June 2010. "All the Lovers" is a midtempo disco song with influences of electropop music. The lyrics of the song serve as an invitation to the dance floor and an assertion that Minogue's past relationships do not "compare" to the one she shares with her present lover.

Upon its release, "All the Lovers" garnered critical acclaim and was commended for its chorus and production. Many critics found it similar to Minogue's 2004 single "I Believe in You". Compared to the lead singles from Minogue's previous albums, "All the Lovers" underperformed in Australia and missed peaking inside the top ten of the Australian Singles Chart. However, it was a commercial success in Europe, reaching the top ten in numerous countries including Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In the latter country, "All the Lovers" peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. A club hit in the United States, it topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart. "All the Lovers" was certified silver in the United Kingdom and gold in Australia and Italy.

Interpretation

In some traditions, the Lovers represent relationships and choices. Its appearance in a spread indicates some decision about an existing relationship, a temptation of the heart, or a choice of potential partners. Often an aspect of the Querent's life will have to be sacrificed; a bachelor(ette)'s lifestyle may be sacrificed and a relationship gained (or vice versa), or one potential partner may be chosen while another is turned down. Whatever the choice, it should not be made lightly, as the ramifications will be lasting.

The Lovers is associated with the star sign Gemini, and indeed is also known as The Twins in some decks. Other associations are with Air, Mercury, and the Hebrew letter ז (Zayin).
