Ministry may refer to:
The Ministry of Stories is a non-profit organisation in East London dedicated to helping children and young adults develop writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
Located in Hoxton, a district in the London Borough of Hackney, England, The Ministry of Stories was founded in 2010 by the British author Nick Hornby and co-directors Lucy Macnab and Ben Payne. The company provides mentoring and advice to young writers, relying on the work of volunteer writers, teachers and artists. The MoS aims to inspire young people to transform their lives through creative writing. The company works closely with schools, supporting teachers, but also provides one-to-one mentoring for young people to enjoy imaginative stories, improve language skills, increase abilities in communication, and develop social and educational confidence.
As of late 2012, 5,000 young people have taken part in activities sponsored by the MoS. About 500 trained volunteers have contributed to the effort, as have writers including Joe Dunthorne, David Nicholls and Zadie Smith, as well as actors Colin Firth and Emma Thompson.
"Jesus Built My Hotrod" is a 1991 single by Ministry. The track features a driving beat and speed metal guitar work which backs Butthole Surfers' singer Gibby Haynes' gonzo vocal stylings. It is notable for its polyrhythmic structure with the guitar riff in 5/4 and the drums in 4/4. According to Al Jourgensen's autobiography the single sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide.
The song "Jesus Built My Hotrod" features guest vocals by Gibby Haynes from the Butthole Surfers. Jourgensen explained the process of collaborating with Haynes during the recording process:
Some of the vocal samples are from movies, including Brad Dourif in Wise Blood, and Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet.
The song was released November 7, 1991, a little more than half a year before it appeared on Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs. MuchMusic and MTV championed the accompanying video (which featured, among others, various footage of vintage NASCAR and drag racing events) and it enjoyed repetitive plays on both stations. The photo that adorns the cover of the single depicts a 1970 Chrysler 440 Six Pack V8 engine (equipped with 3 2-barrel carburetors). At one point in the video, a 1970 Plymouth GTX, equipped with the 440 Six Pack, is shown driving down the street, as the "Air Grabber" hood scoop opens.
"Just One Fix" is the third single from industrial metal band Ministry's 1992 album Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs. The song features samples from Sid and Nancy along with a sample of Frank Sinatra reciting "Just One Fix" (from the movie The Man with the Golden Arm).
The video, directed by Peter Christopherson of the band Coil, features footage of one of Al Jourgensen's influences, author William S. Burroughs. Burroughs also provided the single's cover art.
"Just One Fix" was covered by thrash metal band Sepultura on the album Kairos.
It is rumoured that the Rammstein song "Du Hast" is based on the track, or that the guitar riff in the Rammstein track was cut and sampled directly from Just One Fix due to the similarity in the guitar riffs of both songs, but the members of Rammstein are quoted as saying that they were simply highly influenced by Ministry.
The sample of "Gimme the thorazine. You don't need the thorazine" is a slowed down excerpt from the movie The Trip. Peter Fonda's character Paul is actually tripping on LSD and crying for thorazine while Bruce Dern's character John is trying to calm him down.
Felons and Revolutionaries is the debut album by the American band Dope. The album was released in 1999 on Epic Records and has sold over 236,000 copies in the United States being the best-selling album to date. It was re-released on July 18, 2000, with the single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" (the band's track from the American Psycho soundtrack) as a bonus track. "Pig Society", "Everything Sucks", "Sick", and "Debonaire" were also released as singles, but did not chart.
All tracks by Edsel Dope, excpet for where noted.
The track listing on the back cover of some pressings does not list the song "Fuck tha Police" as appearing on the record. This is most likely due to a typographical error, censorship, or the producers using too much of the space on the back of the album for the artwork. The original pressing for the album's Canadian release does list the song on the back cover. There are also reports that some versions of the album actually did not contain this song.

Chorus:
99 percenters
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
99 percenters
Hey! Hey! Hey hey hey!
Let's put 'em all away
Let's put 'em in handcuffs
Throw away the keys
'Cause enough is enough
[Chorus]
Let's occupy Wall Street
Let's occupy Oakland
Let's occupy Chicago
Let's occupy London
How much do people need
To have to lie and cheat?
But the 99 percenters
Will not be beat
