In this video I give a short tour and test drive of a 2004 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I show the suv idling as well as take it on a thorough test drive through the city and highway on various surfaces. A thorough drive of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

This is not the average Excursion you see go up for sale, this has been built to be the ultimate tow rig. Yes the odometer says 260,000 miles, but in truth that milage is on the body, frame and interior only, everything else is under a year old! I am the second owner of the truck, bought it knowing the head gasket was blown as is typical on the 6.0 for a complete rebuild from the ground up. It would be easier to list all the original parts on the truck rather than list all the new stuff! This is a cab off rebuild, from the gas tank to the radiator! Now this is NOT a eat your dinner of the frame show truck, this was built to be driven and tow a trailer. So yea its clean but shows the normal wear of a daily driver. The truck pulls hard and runs like a beast, the build was back to stock specs so it would be a reliable daily tow vehicle, with all the stuff that makes the 6.0 work like it should! Here is a break down of most of the stuff, I am sure I missed a lot!

This is not the average Excursion you see go up for sale, this has been built to be the ultimate tow rig. Yes the odometer says 260,000 miles, but in truth that milage is on the body, frame and interior only, everything else is under a year old! I am the second owner of the truck, bought it knowing the head gasket was blown as is typical on the 6.0 for a complete rebuild from the ground up. It would be easier to list all the original parts on the truck rather than list all the new stuff! This is a cab off rebuild, from the gas tank to the radiator! Now this is NOT a eat your dinner of the frame show truck, this was built to be driven and tow a trailer. So yea its clean but shows the normal wear of a daily driver. The truck pulls hard and runs like a beast, the build was back to stock specs so it would be a reliable daily tow vehicle, with all the stuff that makes the 6.0 work like it should! Here is a break down of most of the stuff, I am sure I missed a lot!

Installing HID's in ebay projector headlights. Ford F250 / F350 Excursion.
Part 1 of a long winded series on how to properly install HID bulbs into ebay purchased projector headlights. These headlights are one of the more common styles sold online but similar design exsist and these steps should be fairly universal. Sorry I never followed up on a part 2. The day I mounted them it was really windy and I was alone with no one to hold the camera. I had to use my rotozip to trim away some of the fiberglass bezel that the healights sit into. Only on the drivers side and only about a 1/2 " strip on the right side of the opening for the H1 bulbs to clear. Paul, I used the Xentec H1 kit on ebay that sells for about $35.. I wish I didn't. Although I still have the exact same kit in my factory fog lights and never had an issue... I've gone through two ballast...

Excursion Window Quarter Glass Replacement Removal and Installation
Someone broke in my truck and didn't take anything they shattered the rear quarter glass on the driver side. I found a rear quarter glass at a junk yard near by (tinted and movable) This is the process from begin to end. You have to remove the third row take off all the panels I removed the seat belt for convenience pull back the carpet and pull the head liner down a little bit. It didn't and will not take you long if you are mechanically inclined. The shop said it would take them about 2 hours it took me about the same except for going to sleep and making a store run otherwise good deal. Any questions let me know. Like and share. I've gone through two ballasts in the last year (both in the last month.) There are much better companies out there for HID, KENSUN being one of them. I just put a set of Kensun's in my JK wrangler and couldn't be happier but they are about $80.
You get what you pay for with the HID's.
So after a year I would honestly say that I've not been very impressed with these headlights. The LED's on the passanger side have flickering issues.. The light the HID headlights put out is definitely better than stock but if I was going to do this again I would do a retro instead and eventually I will.
I'm going to tear into things to figure out why the LED's are having issues. When I do I'll try to get another video up showing how the headlights mounted.

Today I'll be showing you how to install an S&B; Cold Air Intake to your 1999-2003 Ford F250/F350 or 2000-2003 Ford Excursion that come equipped with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel.
This intake will be going on the 2001 Ford F250 XLT Powerstroke as seen in these videos:

This video is to give an overall explanation of how the intake is installed for people who are looking to putting this kind of intake in their own truck.
Note: one thing I didn't mention in the video, if your truck was made in 2002 and/or 2003 you will have to drill a 3/4" hole in a little notch on the bottom of the intake tube in order to put in a rubber grommet to reinstall the electronic airflow restriction gauge, if you don't the engine light will be triggered. On the 1999-2001 models, the restriction gauge not required because those are mechanical and won't flash any codes.
