Ed Gein - The Real Leatherface (Serial Killer Documentary)
Ed Gain is considered to be the very original American Psycho. Even though it is disputable whether label Serial Killer suits Ed Gein well, since he was only convicted of murdering two people, the severity and notoriety of his murders as well as necrophiliac tendencies have directly influenced some of the most famous horror films, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The American Psycho and The Silence of the Lambs. Ed Gein Biography
Edward Theodore Gein was born on August 27, 1906 in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He grew up under strong influence of his mother who was very domineering and shaped him to believe that sex was sinful and women were instruments of the devil. George Gein, the father of Ed was an alcoholic and died in 1940 as result of excessive drinking of heart failure. The death of his brother Henry Gein who died in 1944 during fire suggested foul play as there were no burns on his body, just countless bruises on his head. However no charges were filed even though Ed Gein was suspected to have taken part in his brother's death. Then at the end of 1945, Ed Gein lost his mother Augusta Gein who died after a series of strokes.
After his mother's death, Ed Gein felt alone and lost. He never developed any friendships and his mother was the only close person to him. Since he was the only member of the Geins family still alive, he was running the farm by himself and lived alone in a huge house. He locked up all the rooms used by his mother and only ever used one small room close to the kitchen.
Soon after his mother's death, Ed Gein developed interest in anatomy of female body and started reading death cult magazines. What caught his interest the most were the atrocity of the Nazis, in particular the medical experiments performed on people in the concentration camps. His interest in the anatomy escalated to the point that within next few years he visited several local cemeteries and exhumed fresh female corpses, dissect them and keep some of the body parts, including their heads, sexual organs and occasional internal organs (heart, liver, intestines, etc.).
Ed Gein flayed several cadavers off their skin and wore it around his homestead. But his biggest interest lay in female genitalia. He would cut those out and play with them. It gave him immense gratification to wear woman's panties stuffed with a vagina he would dissect from an exhumed victim. As his obsession grew larger, he was no longer satisfied with dead bodies and sought "fresher" victims.
Murder of Bernice Worden by Ed Gein
Bernice Worden was a woman in her late fifties -- close to an age of Ed Gein's mother. She disappeared on November 16, 1957. Her son Frank was sheriff's deputy and since Ed Gein already had bad reputation in town and was spotted strolling the streets on day of Bernice Worden disappeared, Frank went to check out the Gein place.
Upon entering the woodshed, shocking evidence of Ed Gein's obsession was revealed. Bernice Worden was hung inside upside down from a meat hook, her body headless and slit open across the front. Her heart was on a plate inside the house, her intestines and head inside a box in a shed. There were also skins from 10 female heads in the shed and a rolled up skin from one female torso. Ed Gein made himself a belt decorated with female nipples, upholsted one chair with human skin and had several skulls with crown cut off that he used as soup bowls. His refrigerator was full of human organs, table was decorated with human bones and lamps had shade coverings made of human skin.
The posts on Ed Gein's Tudor bed were decorated with human skulls, one whole human head was hung on the wall to go along with skinned faces of nine women. Ed kept his most precious articles -- female genitalia in a shoe box. Aside from those the searchers found plethora of other decorations made of human flesh, including newspaper stuffed heads that were displayed and mounted on the wall like hunting trophies.

Ed Gein admitted to murdering Mary Hogan who was missing since 1954. Local tavern owner Mary Hogan was shot to death by Ed Gein. Her skinned face was found in a paper bag during initial search of the homestead.

Ed Gein, also known as “The Plainfield Ghoul,” was a serial killer located in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He is responsible for inspiring some of the most iconic horror characters of all time. For instance, he’s served as inspiration for Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs, and of course, Norman Bates, from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
Gein was only found guilty of two murders. Mary Hogan, 54, was a tavern owner. Bernice Worden, 58, was a hardware store owner. Now, you might notice that both of Geins victims were middle-aged women. This is due to the fact that he’d seek out victims that reminded him of his own mother, whom had passed away.
While only found guilty of two murders, the total number of victims is certainly up for debate. Still, with only two victims under his belt, Gain may be considered tame when compared to other serial killers. However, he had other hobbies that took up most of his time.
You see, Mr. Gein enjoyed visiting local cemeteries late at night, and digging up bodies of women that reminded him of his mother. He’d then tote the bodies back to his home, and that’s when things got very creepy.
This is a list of some of the items that investigators found when they went through Gein’s house:
A belt he’d crafted out of female nipples.
A wastebasket made out of human flesh.
He used human skin to cover his chair seats.
He decorated each of his bed posts with a human skull.
Multiple female skulls, in which some had the top part removed.
Speaking of which, he had made bowls out of human skulls.
Leggings he’d fashioned from the leg skin of victims.
Masks he’d made out of human faces.
Mary Hogan’s face was found in a bag.
Mary Hogan’s skull was found in a box.
Bernice Worden’s head was found in a burlap sack.
Bernice Worden’s heart was found in a plastic bag.
Nine salted vulvas were found in a shoe box.
A young girl’s dress.
Two vulvas which were likely from 15-year-old girls.
Four human noses.
A pair of lips were being used as a drawstring on a shade.
A lampshade was made out of human facial skin.
A collection of fingernails from female fingers.
A human body-suit that wasn’t completely finished.
So, as you can see, Ed Gain was quite the busy boy, and it’s no wonder that horror writers and filmmakers from around the world have drawn inspiration from his grisly acts.

Ed Gein
Edward Theodore "Ed" Gein (/ˈɡiːn/) (August 27, 1906 – July 26, 1984) was an American killer and body snatcher. His crimes, committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, gathered widespread notoriety after authorities discovered Gein had exhumed corpses from local graveyards and fashioned trophies and keepsakes from their bones and skin. Gein confessed to killing two women – tavern owner Mary Hogan on December 8, 1954, and a Plainfield hardware store owner, Bernice Worden, on November 16, 1957. Initially found unfit for trial, after confinement in a mental health facility, in 1968 Gein was found guilty but legally insane for the murder of Worden and was confined in psychiatric institutions. He died at Mendota Mental Health Institute of cancer-induced liver and respiratory failure on July 26, 1984. He is buried in the Plainfield Cemetery, in a now-unmarked grave.
Early life
Edward Theodore Gein was born in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, USA, on August 27, 1906, the second of two boys of George Philip (August 4, 1873 – April 1, 1940) and Augusta Wilhelmine (née Lehrke) Gein (July 21, 1878 – December 29, 1945.) Gein had an older brother, Henry George Gein (January 17, 1901 – May 16, 1944). Augusta despised her husband, and considered him a failure for being an alcoholic who was unable to keep a job; he had worked at various times as a carpenter, tanner, and insurance salesman. Augusta owned a local grocery shop and sold the location in 1914 for a farm to purposely live in isolation near Plainfield, Wisconsin, which became the Gein family's permanent residence.

Serial killer
A serial killer is a person who murders three or more people, usually due to abnormal psychological gratification, with the murders taking place over more than a month and including a significant break (a "cooling off period") between them. Some sources, such as the FBI, disregard the "three or more" criterion and define serial killing as "a series of two or more murders, committed as separate events, usually, but not always, by one offender acting alone".
Although psychological gratification is the usual motive for serial killing, and most serial killings involve sexual contact with the victim, the FBI states that the motives of serial killers can include anger, thrill, financial gain, and attention seeking. The murders may be attempted or completed in a similar fashion, and the victims may have something in common: age group, appearance, gender, or race, for example.
Serial killing is not the same as mass murdering, nor is it spree killing, in which murders are committed in two or more locations in a short time. However, cases of extended bouts of sequential killings over periods of weeks or months with no apparent "cooling off period" or "return to normalcy" have caused some experts to suggest a hybrid category of "spree-serial killer".

Ed Gein, also known as “The Plainfield Ghoul,” was a serial killer located in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He is responsible for inspiring some of the most iconic horror characters of all time. For instance, he’s served as inspiration for Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs, and of course, Norman Bates, from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. Ed Gein Biography
Edward Theodore Gein was born on August 27, 1906 in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He grew up under strong influence of his mother who was very domineering and shaped him to believe that sex was sinful and women were instruments of the devil. George Gein, the father of Ed was an alcoholic and died in 1940 as result of excessive drinking of heart failure. The death of his brother Henry Gein who died in 1944 during fire suggested foul play as there were no burns on his body, just countless bruises on his head. However no charges were filed even though Ed Gein was suspected to have taken part in his brother's death. Then at the end of 1945, Ed Gein lost his mother Augusta Gein who died after a series of strokes.
After his mother's death, Ed Gein felt alone and lost. He never developed any friendships and his mother was the only close person to him. Since he was the only member of the Geins family still alive, he was running the farm by himself and lived alone in a huge house. He locked up all the rooms used by his mother and only ever used one small room close to the kitchen.
Soon after his mother's death, Ed Gein developed interest in anatomy of female body and started reading death cult magazines. What caught his interest the most were the atrocity of the Nazis, in particular the medical experiments performed on people in the concentration camps. His interest in the anatomy escalated to the point that within next few years he visited several local cemeteries and exhumed fresh female corpses, dissect them and keep some of the body parts, including their heads, sexual organs and occasional internal organs (heart, liver, intestines, etc.).
Ed Gein flayed several cadavers off their skin and wore it around his homestead. But his biggest interest lay in female genitalia. He would cut those out and play with them. It gave him immense gratification to wear woman's panties stuffed with a vagina he would dissect from an exhumed victim. As his obsession grew larger, he was no longer satisfied with dead bodies and sought "fresher" victims.
Murder of Bernice Worden by Ed Gein
Bernice Worden was a woman in her late fifties -- close to an age of Ed Gein's mother. She disappeared on November 16, 1957. Her son Frank was sheriff's deputy and since Ed Gein already had bad reputation in town and was spotted strolling the streets on day of Bernice Worden disappeared, Frank went to check out the Gein place.
Upon entering the woodshed, shocking evidence of Ed Gein's obsession was revealed. Bernice Worden was hung inside upside down from a meat hook, her body headless and slit open across the front. Her heart was on a plate inside the house, her intestines and head inside a box in a shed. There were also skins from 10 female heads in the shed and a rolled up skin from one female torso. Ed Gein made himself a belt decorated with female nipples, upholsted one chair with human skin and had several skulls with crown cut off that he used as soup bowls. His refrigerator was full of human organs, table was decorated with human bones and lamps had shade coverings made of human skin.
The posts on Ed Gein's Tudor bed were decorated with human skulls, one whole human head was hung on the wall to go along with skinned faces of nine women. Ed kept his most precious articles -- female genitalia in a shoe box. Aside from those the searchers found plethora of other decorations made of human flesh, including newspaper stuffed heads that were displayed and mounted on the wall like hunting trophies.

Ed Gein admitted to murdering Mary Hogan who was missing since 1954. Local tavern owner Mary Hogan was shot to death by Ed Gein. Her skinned face was found in a paper bag during initial search of the homestead.

While only found guilty of two murders, the total number of victims is certainly up for debate. Still, with only two victims under his belt, Gain may be considered tame when compared to other serial killers. However, he had other hobbies that took up most of his time.
You see, Mr. Gein enjoyed visiting local cemeteries late at night, and digging up bodies of women that reminded him of his mother. He’d then tote the bodies back to his home, and that’s when things got very creepy.

Arthur Shawcross is a serial killer who murdered 14 people over the span of 17 years in rochester new york. he murdered people from prositutes to children. And that a brain abnormality, mental illness and being sexually abused as a child resulted in an almost deadly cocktail that all played a part in him committing these awful murders. This is a disturbing interview of the man who cause so much pain in the lives of so many people.
Edmund Kemper is a notorious serial killer, he was charged with 8 counts of first degree murder and received 7 years to life concurrent, which is short means that each sentence will run one after another. he began driving along the freeway picking up hitchhikers shortly after a 5 year prison sentence as just a hobby and found he began better an better at getting people into his car over time, which he said wasn’t rehear but was like playing a game of chess that would then become more sinister, this interview is over 30 minutes long and he goes into detail about how he would find and lure his victims, here is a short clip of the interview
this interview is of a man called ted bundy, wgikst incarcerated he admitted to killing and raping over 30 women and girls although the number is thought to be almost double the, the interview you cn see his was his last before he was put to death by the state. he believes his cravings were filled by violent pronography and he believes this has correlation with many other serial killers, he says after each killing he would feel an enormous amount of remorse and guilt, which would then eventually fade and his urge to kill would come back even stronger. this interview was taken loiterally hours before he was ut to death

As an imitation he even had to kill an innocent person walking their dog just to prove he had what it takes. and throughout the interview his absoloute lack of remorse is clear to see, here is a shrt clip of the iceman himself

Ed Gein, also known as “The Plainfield Ghoul,” was a serial killer located in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He is responsible for inspiring some of the most iconic horror characters of all time. For instance, he’s served as inspiration for Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs, and of course, Norman Bates, from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. Ed Gein Biography
Edward Theodore Gein was born on August 27, 1906 in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He grew up under strong influence of his mother who was very domineering and shaped him to believe that sex was sinful and women were instruments of the devil. George Gein, the father of Ed was an alcoholic and died in 1940 as result of excessive drinking of heart failure. The death of his brother Henry Gein who died in 1944 during fire suggested foul play as there were no burns on his body, just countless bruises on his head. However no charges were filed even though Ed Gein was suspected to have taken part in his brother's death. Then at the end of 1945, Ed Gein lost his mother Augusta Gein who died after a series of strokes.
After his mother's death, Ed Gein felt alone and lost. He never developed any friendships and his mother was the only close person to him. Since he was the only member of the Geins family still alive, he was running the farm by himself and lived alone in a huge house. He locked up all the rooms used by his mother and only ever used one small room close to the kitchen.
Soon after his mother's death, Ed Gein developed interest in anatomy of female body and started reading death cult magazines. What caught his interest the most were the atrocity of the Nazis, in particular the medical experiments performed on people in the concentration camps. His interest in the anatomy escalated to the point that within next few years he visited several local cemeteries and exhumed fresh female corpses, dissect them and keep some of the body parts, including their heads, sexual organs and occasional internal organs (heart, liver, intestines, etc.).
Ed Gein flayed several cadavers off their skin and wore it around his homestead. But his biggest interest lay in female genitalia. He would cut those out and play with them. It gave him immense gratification to wear woman's panties stuffed with a vagina he would dissect from an exhumed victim. As his obsession grew larger, he was no longer satisfied with dead bodies and sought "fresher" victims.
Murder of Bernice Worden by Ed Gein
Bernice Worden was a woman in her late fifties -- close to an age of Ed Gein's mother. She disappeared on November 16, 1957. Her son Frank was sheriff's deputy and since Ed Gein already had bad reputation in town and was spotted strolling the streets on day of Bernice Worden disappeared, Frank went to check out the Gein place.
Upon entering the woodshed, shocking evidence of Ed Gein's obsession was revealed. Bernice Worden was hung inside upside down from a meat hook, her body headless and slit open across the front. Her heart was on a plate inside the house, her intestines and head inside a box in a shed. There were also skins from 10 female heads in the shed and a rolled up skin from one female torso. Ed Gein made himself a belt decorated with female nipples, upholsted one chair with human skin and had several skulls with crown cut off that he used as soup bowls. His refrigerator was full of human organs, table was decorated with human bones and lamps had shade coverings made of human skin.
The posts on Ed Gein's Tudor bed were decorated with human skulls, one whole human head was hung on the wall to go along with skinned faces of nine women. Ed kept his most precious articles -- female genitalia in a shoe box. Aside from those the searchers found plethora of other decorations made of human flesh, including newspaper stuffed heads that were displayed and mounted on the wall like hunting trophies.

Ed Gein admitted to murdering Mary Hogan who was missing since 1954. Local tavern owner Mary Hogan was shot to death by Ed Gein. Her skinned face was found in a paper bag during initial search of the homestead.

You see, Mr. Gein enjoyed visiting local cemeteries late at night, and digging up bodies of women that reminded him of his mother. He’d then tote the bodies back to his home, and that’s when things got very creepy.
This is a list of some of the items that investigators found when they went through Gein’s house:

A wastebasket made out of human flesh.
He used human skin to cover his chair seats.
He decorated each of his bed posts with a human skull.
Multiple female skulls, in which some had the top part removed.
Speaking of which, he had made bowls out of human skulls.
Leggings he’d fashioned from the leg skin of victims.
Masks he’d made out of human faces.
Mary Hogan’s face was found in a bag.

Ed Gein Biography
Edward Theodore Gein was born on August 27, 1906 in Plainfield, Wisconsin. He grew up under strong influence of his mother who was very domineering and shaped him to believe that sex was sinful and women were instruments of the devil. George Gein, the father of Ed was an alcoholic and died in 1940 as result of excessive drinking of heart failure. The death of his brother Henry Gein who died in 1944 during fire suggested foul play as there were no burns on his body, just countless bruises on his head. However no charges were filed even though Ed Gein was suspected to have taken part in his brother's death. Then at the end of 1945, Ed Gein lost his mother Augusta Gein who died after a series of strokes.
After his mother's death, Ed Gein felt alone and lost. He never developed any friendships and his mother was the only close person to him. Since he was the only member of the Geins family still alive, he was running the farm by himself and lived alone in a huge house. He locked up all the rooms used by his mother and only ever used one small room close to the kitchen.
Soon after his mother's death, Ed Gein developed interest in anatomy of female body and started reading death cult magazines. What caught his interest the most were the atrocity of the Nazis, in particular the medical experiments performed on people in the concentration camps. His interest in the anatomy escalated to the point that within next few years he visited several local cemeteries and exhumed fresh female corpses, dissect them and keep some of the body parts, including their heads, sexual organs and occasional internal organs (heart, liver, intestines, etc.).
Ed Gein flayed several cadavers off their skin and wore it around his homestead. But his biggest interest lay in female genitalia. He would cut those out and play with them. It gave him immense gratification to wear woman's panties stuffed with a vagina he would dissect from an exhumed victim. As his obsession grew larger, he was no longer satisfied with dead bodies and sought "fresher" victims.
Murder of Bernice Worden by Ed Gein
Bernice Worden was a woman in her late fifties -- close to an age of Ed Gein's mother. She disappeared on November 16, 1957. Her son Frank was sheriff's deputy and since Ed Gein already had bad reputation in town and was spotted strolling the streets on day of Bernice Worden disappeared, Frank went to check out the Gein place.
Upon entering the woodshed, shocking evidence of Ed Gein's obsession was revealed. Bernice Worden was hung inside upside down from a meat hook, her body headless and slit open across the front. Her heart was on a plate inside the house, her intestines and head inside a box in a shed. There were also skins from 10 female heads in the shed and a rolled up skin from one female torso. Ed Gein made himself a belt decorated with female nipples, upholsted one chair with human skin and had several skulls with crown cut off that he used as soup bowls. His refrigerator was full of human organs, table was decorated with human bones and lamps had shade coverings made of human skin.
The posts on Ed Gein's Tudor bed were decorated with human skulls, one whole human head was hung on the wall to go along with skinned faces of nine women. Ed kept his most precious articles -- female genitalia in a shoe box. Aside from those the searchers found plethora of other decorations made of human flesh, including newspaper stuffed heads that were displayed and mounted on the wall like hunting trophies.
Death Mary Hogan by Ed Gein
Ed Gein admitted to murdering Mary Hogan who was missing since 1954. Local tavern owner Mary Hogan was shot to death by Ed Gein. Her skinned face was found in a paper bag during initial search of the homestead.

I had never quite been able to reconcile the difference between the statistics presented in Ohio regarding voter fraud (very low) and the concern about widespread voter fraud.This op-ed clarified for me that the concern was not about actual, documented voter fraud, but the potential for voter fraud due to voter registrations ... ....
