He mimed a bloodthirsty vampire, androgynous pretty boy and psychopathic killer.
His face with his pale green eyes was stamped into the audience's memory. Udo Kier is one of the few German actors who succeeded in Hollywood and became world famous -- even in the iron sky behind the moon.
Contrary to his "typical" roles, Udo Kier lives with his two dogs in Palm Springs. The penchant for eccentric, he celebrates in private: Years ago he saved a listed library in Palm Springs from it's demolition. He has since expanded it to a residence.
The images of his daily life are like a Western. Endless desert landscapes, created as a documentary, a dusty ghost town from the 40's and the never ending highways are the sets, where director Jeremy JP Fekete meets the exceptional actor Udo Kier: in his adopted home, the U.S.
In one moment completely cowboy - then again egocentric enfant terrible , Udo Kier exposes himself shameless to the camera, then again refuses any collaboration, just to be demanding shortly after. "ME UDO" is a slightly different road movie, that elopes the audience not only to the top of Mount Jacinto and down into the valley of the giant windmill fields, but also into the depth of an outrageous actor.

Als Cowboy im wilden Westen Amerikas inmitten eines Trips durch Stationen seines Lebens.
Er war blutrünstiger Vampir, androgyner Schönling und psychopathischer Killer. Er ist mit Lars von Trier befreundet und hat in nahezu jedem seiner Filme einen eindrucksvollen Auftritt. Sein Gesicht mit den blassgrünen Augen hat sich beim Zuschauer fest eingeprägt. Udo Kier ist einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, die es via Hollywood zu Weltruhm brachten. Seit über 50 Jahren spielte er in über 250 Filmen: von Arthouse bis Blockbuster.Seinen Einstieg in Amerika hat er in "My Own Private Idaho". Kier überzeugt darin als unheimlicher Biedermann namens Hans. Dass er schließlich in Hollywood blieb, lag an einem glücklichen Zufall, wie so vieles in seinem Leben. "Ich war hier zum Dreh für „My Own Private Idaho" und wollte eigentlich wieder weg. Es war mein letzter Abend, und meine Freunde kochten ein Abschiedsessen. Mein Koffer war schon gepackt." Den Hang zum Exzentrischen zelebriert er auch privat: vor Jahren rettet er eine denkmalgeschützte Bibliothek in Palm Springs vor dem Abriss. Inzwischen hat er sie zur Residenz ausgebaut.
Die Bilder seines Alltages ähneln einem Western. Endlose Wüstenlandschaften, wie für einen Kinofilm geschaffen, eine staubige Geisterstadt aus den 40iger Jahren und die endlosen Highways sind die Sets aus Udo Kiers Wahlheimat USA auf denen Autor & Regisseur Jeremy JP Fekete dem Ausnahmeschauspieler begegnet. Einmal ganz Cowboy, dann wieder egozentrisches Enfant terrible, setzt sich Udo Kier der Kamera aus, verweigert, gibt sich ungeniert und fordert. „ICH-UDO" ist ein etwas anderes Road-Movie, welches den Zuschauer nicht nur auf die Spitze des Mount Jacinto und runter ins Tal der riesigen Windmills-Felder entführt sondern auch die Höhen und Tiefen des amerikanisierten Europäers entdecken lässt.

Udo Kier
Udo Kier (born Udo Kierspe; 14 October 1944) is a German actor who has appeared in over 200 films.
Early life
Kier was born in Cologne, near the end of World War II. The hospital where he was born was bombed moments after his birth. In his youth he worked as an altar boy and cantor. He moved to the United Kingdom to learn the English language.
Career
In 1966, Kier was cast in the lead role for the film Road to St. Tropez. One of the most important films in his early career was Andy Warhol's Frankenstein in 1973. Another film, Blood for Dracula in 1974, was filmed by Paul Morrissey for Andy Warhol's studio and produced by Vittorio de Sica and Roman Polański, with Kier playing the lead roles of young doctor Frankenstein and young count Dracula. Kier has appeared in a number of other vampire movies, such as Die Einsteiger (1985), Blade (1998), Modern Vampires (1998), Shadow of the Vampire (2000), Dracula 3000 and Bloodrayne (2006). In the 1980s Kier worked with Hungarian director Gábor Bódy and appeared in a number of his projects. Their most successful work together was Narcissus and Psyche in 1980.

Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol (/ˈwɔːrhɒl/; born Andrew Warhola; August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist. The Andy Warhol Museum in his native city, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, holds an extensive permanent collection of art and archives. It is the largest museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist.
Warhol's art used many types of media, including hand drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, silk screening, sculpture, film, and music. He was also a pioneer in computer-generated art using Amiga computers that were introduced in 1984, two years before his death. He founded Interview magazine and was the author of numerous books, including The Philosophy of Andy Warhol and Popism: The Warhol Sixties. He managed and produced The Velvet Underground, a rock band which had a strong influence on the evolution of punk rock music. He is also notable as a gay man who lived openly as such before the gay liberation movement. His studio, The Factory, was a well known gathering place that brought together distinguished intellectuals, drag queens, playwrights, Bohemian street people, Hollywood celebrities, and wealthy patrons.

Andy Warhol's Frankenstein
Andy Warhol's Frankenstein (original title: Flesh for Frankenstein) is a 1973 Italian-French horror film directed by Paul Morrissey and produced by Andy Warhol, Andrew Braunsberg, Louis Peraino and Carlo Ponti. It stars Udo Kier, Joe Dallesandro, Monique van Vooren and Arno Juerging. Interiors were filmed at Cinecittà in Rome by a crew of Italian filmmakers.
In the United States, the film was marketed as Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, and was presented in the Space-Vision 3D process in premiere engagements. It was rated X by the MPAA due to its explicit sexuality and violence. A 3-D version also played in Australia in 1986, along with Blood for Dracula, its obvious pairing. In the 1970s, a 3-D version played in Stockholm, Sweden and in London, England. In subsequent US DVD releases, the film was retitled Flesh for Frankenstein, while the more popular title was used in other regions.
The gruesomeness of the action was intensified in the original release by the use of 3-D, with several disembowelments being shot from a perspective such that the internal organs are thrust towards the camera.

Paul Morrissey
Paul Morrissey (born February 23, 1938) is an American film director, best known for his association with Andy Warhol.
Life and career
Morrissey attended Ampleforth College, a private Roman Catholic boarding school and Fordham University, both Roman Catholic schools, and later served in the United States Army. A political conservative and self-described "right-winger", who has publicly protested against what he perceives as immorality and "anti-Catholicism", Morrissey's long-term collaboration with the low-keyed, apparently apolitical Warhol was viewed by many as "a successful mismatch", although both men did share some traits, e.g. both were practising Catholics from "ethnic" backgrounds (Warhol was of Rusyn descent and Morrissey is of Irish descent).
Morrissey's bold, avant-garde direction in film making is often attributed to his relationship with Warhol and the Factory, although Morrissey claimed in his memoir, Factory Days, that this is not the case. Morrissey discovered and signed the Velvet Underground.

Die Bilder seines Alltages ähneln einem Western. Endlose Wüstenlandschaften, wie für einen Kinofilm geschaffen, eine staubige Geisterstadt aus den 40iger Jahren und die endlosen Highways sind die Sets aus Udo Kiers Wahlheimat USA auf denen Autor & Regisseur Jeremy JP Fekete dem Ausnahmeschauspieler begegnet. Einmal ganz Cowboy, dann wieder egozentrisches Enfant terrible, setzt sich Udo Kier der Kamera aus, verweigert, gibt sich ungeniert und fordert. „ICH-UDO" ist ein etwas anderes Road-Movie, welches den Zuschauer nicht nur auf die Spitze des Mount Jacinto und runter ins Tal der riesigen Windmills-Felder entführt sondern auch die Höhen und Tiefen des amerikanisierten Europäers entdecken lässt. -

He mimed a bloodthirsty vampire, androgynous pretty boy and psychopathic killer.
His face with his pale green eyes was stamped into the audience's memory. Udo Kier is one of the few German actors who succeeded in Hollywood and became world famous -- even in the iron sky behind the moon.
Contrary to his "typical" roles, Udo Kier lives with his two dogs in Palm Springs. The penchant for eccentric, he celebrates in private: Years ago he saved a listed library in Palm Springs from it's demolition. He has since expanded it to a residence.
The images of his daily life are like a Western. Endless desert landscapes, created as a documentary, a dusty ghost town from the 40's and the never ending highways are the sets, where director Jeremy JP Fekete meets the exceptional actor Udo Kier: in his adopted home, the U.S.
In one moment completely cowboy - then again egocentric enfant terrible , Udo Kier exposes himself shameless to the camera, then again refuses any collaboration, just to be demanding shortly after. "ME UDO" is a slightly different road movie, that elopes the audience not only to the top of Mount Jacinto and down into the valley of the giant windmill fields, but also into the depth of an outrageous actor.

Als Cowboy im wilden Westen Amerikas inmitten eines Trips durch Stationen seines Lebens.
Er war blutrünstiger Vampir, androgyner Schönling und psychopathischer Killer. Er ist mit Lars von Trier befreundet und hat in nahezu jedem seiner Filme einen eindrucksvollen Auftritt. Sein Gesicht mit den blassgrünen Augen hat sich beim Zuschauer fest eingeprägt. Udo Kier ist einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, die es via Hollywood zu Weltruhm brachten. Seit über 50 Jahren spielte er in über 250 Filmen: von Arthouse bis Blockbuster.Seinen Einstieg in Amerika hat er in "My Own Private Idaho". "ME UDO starring Udo Kier" - a western road movie
He mimed a bloodthirsty vampire, androgynous pretty boy and psychopathic killer.
His face with his pale green eyes was stamped into the audience's memory. Udo Kier is one of the few German actors who succeeded in Hollywood and became world famous -- even in the iron sky behind the moon.
Contrary to his "typical" roles, Udo Kier lives with his two dogs in Palm Springs. The penchant for eccentric, he celebrates in private: Years ago he saved a listed library in Palm Springs from it's demolition. He has since expanded it to a residence.
The images of his daily life are like a Western. Endless desert landscapes, created as a documentary, a dusty ghost town from the 40's and the never ending highways are the sets, where director Jeremy JP Fekete meets the exceptional actor Udo Kier: in his adopted home, the U.S.
In one moment completely cowboy - then again egocentric enfant terrible , Udo Kier exposes himself shameless to the camera, then again refuses any collaboration, just to be demanding shortly after. "ME UDO" is a slightly different road movie, that elopes the audience not only to the top of Mount Jacinto and down into the valley of the giant windmill fields, but also into the depth of an outrageous actor.

Rund 18 Jahre später hat sich endlich wieder jemand an das enfant terrible ran gewagt....entstanden ist ein etwas anderes Road-Movie über den Ausnahmeschauspieler Udo Kier. Als Cowboy im wilden Westen Amerikas inmitten eines Trips durch Stationen seines Lebens.
Er war blutrünstiger Vampir, androgyner Schönling und psychopathischer Killer. Er ist mit Lars von Trier befreundet und hat in nahezu jedem seiner Filme einen eindrucksvollen Auftritt. Sein Gesicht mit den blassgrünen Augen hat sich beim Zuschauer fest eingeprägt. Udo Kier ist einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, die es via Hollywood zu Weltruhm brachten. Seit über 50 Jahren spielte er in über 250 Filmen: von Arthouse bis Blockbuster.Seinen Einstieg in Amerika hat er in "My Own Private Idaho". Kier überzeugt darin als unheimlicher Biedermann namens Hans. Dass er schließlich in Hollywood blieb, lag an einem glücklichen Zufall, wie so vieles in seinem Leben. "Ich war hier zum Dreh für „My Own Private Idaho" und wollte eigentlich wieder weg. Es war mein letzter Abend, und meine Freunde kochten ein Abschiedsessen. Mein Koffer war schon gepackt." Over 20 years after the nuclear war that had been triggered by the invasion of the Moon Nazis, Earth has become an inhospitable place. The last survivors have rallied together on the former Nazi moon base, with many refugees from earth among them. Over the years a large human colony has formed, with its own fascist government and religions, including the Jobists, a cult that formed around the teachings of Steve Jobs and their leader (Tom Green).
But the aging base is deteriorating and due to the damage the moon received in the nuclear war, its time is running out. Obi Washington (Lara Rossi), the daughter of Renate Richter (Julia Dietze) and James Washington, finds out that there may be other survivors hidden in an underground city at the center of the earth with the means to save the base and decides to travel to earth to seek help.
But the survivors she and a ragtag band of explorers find at the center of the earth are not even human—they stumble upon a prehuman world of dinosaurs ruled by the Vril, a race of reptilians led by Adolf Hitler in his true reptilian form among other former human rulers, all of whom were Reptilians under their human skins all along. They had been controlling human governments for hundreds of years, waiting for the right moment to strike against the human surface dwellers to ensure the annihilation of the entire human race and secure the reptilian dominance over the planet.

Over 20 years after the nuclear war that had been triggered by the invasion of the Moon Nazis, Earth has become an inhospitable place. The last survivors have rallied together on the former Nazi moon base, with many refugees from earth among them. Over the years a large human colony has formed, with its own fascist government and religions, including the Jobists, a cult that formed around the teachings of Steve Jobs and their leader (Tom Green).

King Creon of Corinth wants to secure his throne. In order to do this, he wants to marry the successful warrior Jason to his daughter Glauce. Jason accepts, but he is already married to Medea. Since Medea is known as a wise woman, Creon feels need to banish Medea and her two boys from the city. She begs him to let him stay, but he gives her only one day in order to secure the needs of the two boys.
Medea makes an agreement with the king of Athens, Aegeus, that she and the two boys can come live in Athens with his protection. She then plans to murder both Glauce and Creon and eventually her own children.
Medea, il marito Giasone ed i loro due figli vivono felicemente la propria vita a Corinto, finché Creonte, re della città, non decide di dare sua figlia Glauce in sposa a Giasone. Avendo così quest'ultimo la possibilità di successione al trono, accetta ed abbandona sua moglie Medea. Malgrado la disperazione della donna, vista l'indifferenza di Giasone, Medea medita una tremenda vendetta. Fingendosi rassegnata, manda in dono una corona alla giovane Glauce, la quale, non sapendo che le punte della corona sono ricoperte di veleno, l'afferra e si punge, morendo così fra dolori strazianti. Il padre Creonte, corso in aiuto, si punge anch'egli, morendone.
Ma la vendetta di Medea non finisce qui. Per assicurarsi che Giasone non abbia discendenza, uccide i figli avuti con lui, impiccandoli ad un albero.

"ME UDO starring Udo Kier" - a western road movie
He mimed a bloodthirsty vampire, androgynous pretty boy and psychopathic killer.
His face with his pale green eyes was stamped into the audience's memory. Udo Kier is one of the few German actors who succeeded in Hollywood and became world famous -- even in the iron sky behind the moon.
Contrary to his "typical" roles, Udo Kier lives with his two dogs in Palm Springs. The penchant for eccentric, he celebrates in private: Years ago he saved a listed library in Palm Springs from it's demolition. He has since expanded it to a residence.
The images of his daily life are like a Western. Endless desert landscapes, created as a documentary, a dusty ghost town from the 40's and the never ending highways are the sets, where director Jeremy JP Fekete meets the exceptional actor Udo Kier: in his adopted home, the U.S.
In one moment completely cowboy - then again egocentric enfant terrible , Udo Kier exposes himself shameless to the camera, then again refuses any collaboration, just to be demanding shortly after. "ME UDO" is a slightly different road movie, that elopes the audience not only to the top of Mount Jacinto and down into the valley of the giant windmill fields, but also into the depth of an outrageous actor.

Als Cowboy im wilden Westen Amerikas inmitten eines Trips durch Stationen seines Lebens.
Er war blutrünstiger Vampir, androgyner Schönling und psychopathischer Killer. Er ist mit Lars von Trier befreundet und hat in nahezu jedem seiner Filme einen eindrucksvollen Auftritt. Sein Gesicht mit den blassgrünen Augen hat sich beim Zuschauer fest eingeprägt. Udo Kier ist einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, die es via Hollywood zu Weltruhm brachten. Seit über 50 Jahren spielte er in über 250 Filmen: von Arthouse bis Blockbuster.Seinen Einstieg in Amerika hat er in "My Own Private Idaho". Kier überzeugt darin als unheimlicher Biedermann namens Hans. Dass er schließlich in Hollywood blieb, lag an einem glücklichen Zufall, wie so vieles in seinem Leben. "Ich war hier zum Dreh für „My Own Private Idaho" und wollte eigentlich wieder weg. Es war mein letzter Abend, und meine Freunde kochten ein Abschiedsessen. Mein Koffer war schon gepackt." Sie fragten ihn, ob er nicht bleiben wolle. "Nach vier Gläsern Rotwein hab ich Ja gesagt." Entgegen seiner „typischen" Rollen lebt Udo Kier gesittet mit seinen zwei von der Strasse aufgelesenen Hunden inklusive Palmengarten in Palm Springs. Den Hang zum Exzentrischen zelebriert er auch privat: vor Jahren rettet er eine denkmalgeschützte Bibliothek in Palm Springs vor dem Abriss. Inzwischen hat er sie zur Residenz ausgebaut.
Die Bilder seines Alltages ähneln einem Western. Endlose Wüstenlandschaften, wie für einen Kinofilm geschaffen, eine staubige Geisterstadt aus den 40iger Jahren und die endlosen Highways sind die Sets aus Udo Kiers Wahlheimat USA auf denen Autor & Regisseur Jeremy JP Fekete dem Ausnahmeschauspieler begegnet. Einmal ganz Cowboy, dann wieder egozentrisches Enfant terrible, setzt sich Udo Kier der Kamera aus, verweigert, gibt sich ungeniert und fordert. „ICH-UDO" ist ein etwas anderes Road-Movie, welches den Zuschauer nicht nur auf die Spitze des Mount Jacinto und runter ins Tal der riesigen Windmills-Felder entführt sondern auch die Höhen und Tiefen des amerikanisierten Europäers entdecken lässt.
